3.0 RATING- This has all the ingredients of the shorter novellas featuring instant love and alpha hero's I've been reading so much of lately but in the end, I don't know, it was just okay for me. I can't believe the author originally split this up into three installments. That's craziness IMO. Definitely not my favorite by this author but no specific reason.

I normally like OTT protective alphas and the hero, or anti-hero rather, in this one fits the bill. But the reason why I didn't rate this book higher was because of the heroine. I found Anna too meek, too sweet, too willing, too soft. I like my heroines more feisty and kickass.

This box set contains three stories. We get young Anna who is waiting for a nanny position to become available and when one does, she jumps at the chance. She was warned about the father’s sexy good looks but she thinks this will be the perfect job for her.
Nic is smitten the moment he opens his door to the young woman who has come to interview for the nanny position. He needs someone loving to help care for his very young sickly daughter.
This book is fast paced but well written. Each story takes us into the next. Nic is a strong character and to be so young he has a lot on his plate with taking over the family business. Anna is a good girl who has just walked into the darker/wilder side of life unknowingly but that does not hold back the strong female. I enjoyed reading this book.

I read alllllll 3 of the books book 2 and 3 were pretty short.. and i didn't wanna do every book.. so i picked the bundle!! 😀😀 pretty fast pace and easy read. The whole thing is about all 3 books.
Anna is applying for a job as a nanny for Nic who has a adorable child, she doesn't know is the head of the mob.. so when she first meets him things are sizzling he's already sprung making plans to marry her and keep her by his side but he does take it alittle slow and enjoys watching the two woman in his life bond. But things get out of control when the irish are causing problems and Anna finds out he's a mob boss.. I'm suprised she took it easy i would atleast be alittle mad... she did have a mini freak out but since Sophia (little girl) had some medical problem she forgave Nic.. we get a glimpse of couple number 2!! Which I wanna read asap!!

Now back to Nic and Anna their relationship goes from 0 to 1000!! Surprises happen and kidnapping.. oh my.. but that doesn't stop Nic from tossing a war down..

When Gianna arrives at Nic’s house for the Nanny position for his daughter Sophia she gets way more than she expected. The sexy man who opens the door leaves her a blushing mix.
Nic was reluctant when the agency called and said they had a suitable application for the job, he’d been firm in what he was looking for an older woman not a young woman. He didn’t want the hassle of a potential money hungry woman who was only interested in what they could get. But when Gianna knocks on his door he gets way more than he expected. He gets his future.
The Virgin and Mafia boss will leave you hot and bothered. Nic’s only thought is how quickly can he get this sweet innocent girl into his bed before she finds out who he really is.
It has all the steam you’d expect from this duo. Nic’s arrogance and Alpha ways was freaking Hot. 🔥🔥🔥

Gianna se ha apuntado a una agencia para encontrar trabajo como niñera. El problema es que las tres últimas familias parecían querer de todo menos una niñera. Así que cuando la señora de la agencia le comenta de un padre soltero en busca de una niñera, ella es un poco reticente después de su última familia... Pero cuando conoce a Nic está más que dispuesta a cuidar de su hija, y de él si este se lo permite.
Me ha gustado aunque me ha parecido una historia un poco floja en cuando a escritura. No se porque pero la forma de escribir me ha parecido super vaga y poco elaborada. No digo yo que tenga que estar escrito como si hubiese estado usando el diccionario de la real academia pero siento que la autora con este libro no se esforzó nada. Aún a pesar de esto no puedo decir que no haya disfrutado la historia absurdamente rápida, cliché y amorosa. Por supuesto es recomendada para pasar el rato porque no hay casi drama y siempre final feliz 😁

If you are looking for a fast pace, sexy, and action packed mafia book, well I have to say you found it here. I usually like the books that take a while for things to lead up and have a lot of background, but I have to say I really enjoyed this book. I liked how it got down to it, no taking the long way to learn things, didn't have you second guessing yourself during the book and you loved all the characters in the book as soon as you started reading about them. The fast pace kept you going throughout and for me I couldn't put it down until I knew what was going to happen at the end. Its a short book, so it only took me a few hours to get through it,and it was worth my afternoon to read it. I have to say I loved Nic, he oozed his authority throughout the whole book. He is completely in control through the book, he is simply a mafia sex god. The way he was portrayed during the book, you will fall in love with him. He does everything that you would want from a man. He is protective, a leader and a perfect family man. You will fall in love with him instantly. Anna is one of the sweetest woman you will ever meet. She has a heart of gold. She is so op[en and full of life that she was a great match for Nic. They are perfect for each other. They counter each other perfectly and with everything that goes on in the book it makes it much more enjoyable. I loved the story line and everyone else in the book. The story was one of the best that I have read in awhile. The only critique I could have for the book is I would ,like a little of an epilogue because I would like to know what happens to these two.

Fiona Davenport is a new author to me, however, this box set did not disappoint. In fact, she has left me wanting, and needing more, from her, from these characters, from this whole world created in this set.
Anna is a nanny in need of a new family, but she also wants more in her life. She wants to have children of her own one day, to be a wife to a wonderful husband. But in the meantime, she has to settle for caring for other family’s children.
Nic is a Mafia Boss in need of someone to care for his daughter, Sophia. She is the center of Nic’s world, his life, his heart; and only the best nanny will do. When the agency told Nic about Anna, she sounded to be the perfect fit; what he did not expect was how beautiful Anna was and the emotions that would soon follow.
Anna expected to cherish and love Sophia; it is hard to not love a beautiful little girl like her. However, she never intended to fall in love with Nic the way she did; but life does not always go the way we expect them to. Of course now that Nic has fallen so hard, his enemies know just how to hit him where it hurts. What they do not realize, is you do not mess with the boss, the man in charge, the man in love.
The Mafia Ties is a love story like no other. You have a strong, alpha male, who loves his family entirely; enough to do anything to keep them safe. Forget the fact that this is titled as a Mafia book; that is Nic’s occupation, not his entire life. His life now revolves solely around Sophia and Anna. The emotions I felt while reading this was phenomenal.
I loved how this story ended. I felt complete, but yet, there was still an opening for more to be told about this couple. Do they live happily ever after? Do they have a handful of their own children? Do they go completely off the grid and live a quiet life outside of what he has always known? ~ Ann-Marie on behalf of Everything Marie

This is a short read but has some super steamy moments in it.
Nic DeLuca hires Gianna Martin to be the nanny for his almost seven-year-old daughter. From the moment he laid eyes on Anna standing at his front door, he knew what he wanted. All he had to do was convince Anna to agree to his plans.
Can't wait for the next book.

This is book two in the Mafia Ties trilogy and you need to read book one before reading this.
We pick up where we left off in book one. Anna finds out exactly what her boss/lover's job is. This brings about an internal battle as she tries to reconcile her feeling for Nic and her feelings regarding his family's business.
Even though the story moves along quickly, it still has a bit of everything in it. There is love, steam, and leaves us with a bit of suspense to keep us waiting for the next book.
Can't wait to see what happens next

Fiona is a new to me author. I don't know how I've gone so long without reading any of her work but I'm so glad I got the opportunity with this box set. In this set is the books 1-3 of Nic and Anna. There is really no stopping point between the three books, so when you start the first one you're going to be hooked until you finished.
Anna is a nanny, looking for the perfect family. She doesn't have kids of her own yet and has dreams to be a mother and wife one day. Little does she know that day is going to be a lot sooner than she had planned.
Nic is about as alpha male as they come. He's dark and dangerous with his mafia ties and knows what he wants..... and he wants Anna. Their relationship takes off almost immediately, insta-love. As soon as Nic saw Anna on his front porch he knew she would be his. Anna has no problem with that as sweet and innocent as she is, such a virgin....
.......But not for long... the steamy level in this set is off the charts.
I enjoyed the story, the fast paced setting was easy to follow and quite entertaining. Maybe not as believable as real life romance but who are we to judge when it comes to hot, demanding mafia leaders and their love life. They know what they want and they take it!

Forget the fact that this is titled as a Mafia book; that is Nic’s occupation, not his entire life. His life now revolves solely around Sophia and Anna. The emotions I felt while reading this was phenomenal.
I loved how this story ended. I felt complete, but yet, there was still an opening for more to be told about this couple. Do they live happily ever after? Do they have a handful of their own children? Do they go completely off the grid and live a quiet life outside of what he has always known?
Fiona Davenport is a new author to me, however, this box set did not disappoint. In fact, she has left me wanting, and needing more, from her, from these characters, from this whole world created in this set.
Anna is a nanny in need of a new family, but she also wants more in her life. She wants to have children of her own one day, to be a wife to a wonderful husband. But in the meantime, she has to settle for caring for other family’s children.
Nic is a Mafia Boss in need of someone to care for his daughter, Sophia. She is the center of Nic’s world, his life, his heart; and only the best nanny will do. When the agency told Nic about Anna, she sounded to be the perfect fit; what he did not expect was how beautiful Anna was and the emotions that would soon follow.
Anna expected to cherish and love Sophia; it is hard to not love a beautiful little girl like her. However, she never intended to fall in love with Nic the way she did; but life does not always go the way we expect them to. Of course now that Nic has fallen so hard, his enemies know just how to hit him where it hurts. What they do not realize, is you do not mess with the boss, the man in charge, the man in love.

I liked Nic and Anna's story I just wished it was longer....or at least that the first book was longer. It would've been so nice to have some more backround information on both Nic and his occupation. Kinda felt like I was just thrown right into the middle of the story. I think that's what made it so hard for me to find Nic's profession believable because we never actually see him as this big bad mafia boss and he was so young....I think 24ish? If he had been established as the boss for a couple years and then met Anna it would've probably got a 5 star from me. Other than that it was good. I enjoyed them as a couple and little Sophia stole the show!

I started reading just the sample immediately was engrossed and I bought it immediately. This hot yummy sexy romantic story kept me up all night. Nic oh I would love a guy like you. Hot dominate sexy romantic possessive yummy Nic. His adorable daughter and Gianna both had his heart. I enjoy and love books like this. A dominant man full of love and respect for his family. I am going to find and buy the next book with Brandon and Carly. But I don't know if anyone can top this story it was so full of sexy romance with Nic and his Gianna.

The story is certainly an enjoyable read, filled with engaging moments and interesting characters. However, like many other short stories I've come across, it doesn't quite leave a lasting impression on me. It's entertaining, but I wouldn't go out of my way to rave about it. If you know what I mean, it has charm, but it doesn't evoke a strong emotional connection or a sense of urgency to discuss it with others.

Loved this story
Nic and Anna were such a great couple! I liked both characters and their relationship building with just enough drama (I don’t like too much!). Steamy love scenes, hot alpha male....enough said!
