First thing — wish this was available as an ebook. It's not, so paperback it is. Not a dealbreaker, just an annoyance.
The biggest mistake you can make with this book is treating it like a practice exam. If you just answer questions and check your score, you're going to waste a lot of time and not get much out of it. That's not what it's for.
What actually works: read the question, read all the answers, then read the explanation for every single option — not just the right one. Once you do it that way it clicks. It becomes a solid study guide that also teaches you how CISA questions are structured and worded, which honestly is half the battle.
There are plenty of practice tests out there online — free ones, paid ones, all of it. Don't try to turn this book into another one. Let it do its own thing and it's actually pretty useful.
