Inductive Bible Study: Simple Bible Study Technique

Rate this book
A simple method to studying AND understanding what God is trying to tell us in the Bible. Twenty-first Century Believers are so fortunate! We have 2100 years of thought, research, study, and analysis behind every verse in the Bible. We have entire books written on almost every thought and verse in the Bible. But that is often a problem for us, too. Sometimes we need to study the Bible and not what others say ABOUT the Bible. Few Believers today can read a verse of Scripture without seeing that verse in the light of all that thought and analysis. Few Believers today can read a verse of Scripture without hearing the many sermons we have already heard preached on that verse. And few Believers today can read a verse of Scripture and see what that verse states without it being colored by what they already believe. The procedures of Inductive Bible Study can change that and help all Believers see what is actually there.

It might be helpful

If you are new to the concept of Inductive Bible Study, you might find this helpful. Rather than a “just the facts” teaching of how to study the Scriptures inductively, the author shares some examples of how he uses the method.
