Let’s not mince WCW had an atrociously bad first half of the 90s, and it seemed like nothing they tried could bring them the ratings and success they so badly wanted. That all changed when the NWO invasion finally gave WCW the boost they needed, and for two years, WCW rode the NWO to a seemingly insurmountable ratings lead over the WWF. But since this IS WCW we’re talking about here, the whole thing eventually came spiraling back to Earth in dramatic fashion thanks to the usual mismanagement and backstage politics. This book tells the story of how WCW improbably rose to the very pinnacle of the wrestling business, then managed to screw up the biggest, surefire moneymaking storyline they ever had. This book also includes the following bonus -WCW In The Mid 90 The Supporting Cast -The 5 Biggest "Only In WCW" Moments Of The Mid-90s
You could have titled this book, how to ruin a good thing. WCW had several good things going during this period they ruined such as the nWo and Goldberg. Having unfortunately lived through this period, this book provides a nice light review of how WCW went from running the wrestling world to being sold for next to nothing 5 years later.
The author of this book continues to hint at volume 3 which apparently doesn't exist. Either he meant to write the book, or just got lazy and anything he didn't want to expound on he just referred to a mythical book for content.
