Maddie
Love shouldn’t hurt.
Love should make your heart soar - not break it apart
Love should make you feel safe - not broken and vulnerable.
I don’t want to feel like this anymore.

Marcus
Anger shouldn't be all-consuming.
Anger at her for leaving me
Anger at her for showing for me that life could be more - and making me crave it.
I don’t want to feel like this anymore.

Two damaged people, free-falling through life.
Two friends. Two choices. Two questions.
If you’re unable to save yourself, can you really help anyone else?
Can happy-ever-afters exist if you no longer believe in fairy tales?

This is a spin-off from the Fighting Free Series.
This is a standalone and can be read independently of the first two.

REVIEW ORIGINALLY POSTED ON THE BLOG HERE

This book is the kind of book you want to grab on a rainy day and snuggle up with, hot drink in hand of course. It’s a nice , lighthearted, easy read . The kind of read you want for you holidays where the family drama is at its highest .
The story is steady, with a good amount of anticipation, the execution was solid no loose ends whatsoever. This aspiring author has done her homework before wandering down this kind pf stories and I found that doing this she made interesting for her readers.
The heroine drove nuts though , and I like my heroines to be strong , badasses whereas Maddie was unsure of herself and a bit fickle for my taste . I wanted to shake her out of her slumber and scream at her so many times she infuriated me . Now the hero was amazing! Hot alpha alert! I loved that despite his own secrets and skeletons he was steady and sure of himself and could pull Maddie from her self-destructing Path .
All in all a very enjoyable read .

Free Falling by GL Chapple is a standalone romance that follows on from Nate & Lena's story. After reading the two previous books I was incredibly excited to meet Marcus and Maddie and find out about them.

Free Falling shows a HUGE improvement in GL's writing, her words flow incredibly well and the story telling is solid.
I really, really enjoyed reading about Marcus, he's definitely a heartbroken alpha that GL portrayed brilliantly. His chapters drew me in and held me captive. The connection between Marcus and Maddie was strong and written well, I desperately wanted them together from the first meet.

Unfortunately though, I really struggled with Maddie, I just couldn't connect with her and sometimes found myself struggling to read her chapters. On the one side Maddie IS a strong female character that was in a truly awful relationship. But she became too much of a pushover at times and I just wanted to shake the woman, she had fire and a spark to truly go after what she desperately, truly wanted but didn't and I found this to be conflicting while getting to know Maddie.
I totally understand what GL was writing about in this story and she wrote Christian really well, considering. I personally just couldn't feel anything for Maddie.
I did like her a lot more once she left Christian but I felt it was too far into the story to fully connect to her.

On the whole Free Falling is a beautiful story of heartache, pain and second chances. GL is an author whose work gets stronger with each book and I'm looking forward to what she does next.

“Anger is an easy emotion to hold onto.”

Once again GL Chapple has shown what a talented author she is, despite this being only her third book, she shows great courage & growth.

We meet both Maddie & Marcus in the Fighting Free duo as the best friends of Lena & Nate. We know that things aren't quite right with Maddie & Christian. We also know that Marcus is devastated by the loss of his girlfriend, Lindsay.

We learn that both Maddie & Marcus are struggling with issues of abandonment stemmed from their childhoods. However they choose different methods to deal with it. But can they help each other find that missing link that makes you feel whole?

Whilst some books have been accused of making abuse "sexy", this is not one of those books. But it will give you an uncanny insight into the effects of emotional abuse.

Free Falling is my favorite story written by G.L. Chapple until now.
The writing is clear and so realistic that I felt like I was trapped into the characters' minds and lives.

We have met Marcus and Maddie in the previous books of the Fighting Free series and while I was curious to read Marcus' story I didn't imagine that Maddie would have become my favorite heroine, her character really touched me and unfortunately I can relate to her "love" relationship.

If you want to read a moving story with some funny moments this is the right book for you.It isn't indispensable to read the previous books in the series but I recommend them to you so it will be easier to place the characters you meet in these pages.

WOW... 4.5 Free Falling Stars

Marcus.... OMG i am sooo much in love with him.
This is my first book by Gemma Chapple and I met Marcus for the first time but now I really need to read the first two books of this series too. I can't wait to know what was it that left Marcus so broken and angry with the world!
The characters are very well built and the story was very beautiful. I loved this book so much i can't tell you... I loved the emotions this book holds within it. With every page i was more and more in love with it.
Marcus and Maddie both are broken souls, They meet each other and find a new way towards the path of love. This story is about moving on, not to give up, to keep faith and to love again.
Loved it.

I liked Free Falling a lot. This is the kind of story I love to read. A book that made me feel and challenged me. And it was.

Marcus and Maddie, two damaged souls, lost in a way in love.

Love is not sometimes all chocolate and flowers, rainbows and sunshine but hurting, bruising and killing you softly. And the author wrote about it in an amazing way. I was totally captivated and the author’s words got me.

Marcus was in pain and was angry against the world, acting more than living. Trying to fill the void of his girlfriend’s death. Alcohol and women didn't change anything, just helping to avoid the ugly reality. He let down his guard once and swore that never again, he would love someone. But Maddie, seemed like the only one to make him smile, and ignite something that was gone long time ago. And she was so off limits. Best friend to his woman’s best friend. Yup complicated.

Maddie’s story was so painful and heartbreaking. A woman full of life turning lifeless, and relying on her boyfriend. The author got the point by telling us her abusive relationship, how deeply she sunk into this nightmare, being isolated and almost psychologically dependent on him, it was pure torture and making me feel so sad. I wanted to see her happy, finding her own self again.

When Marcus and Maddie really collided, it was like they were finally breathing again, finding their own peace without all the luggage they had behind. The chemistry and banter was incredible and intense. I was waiting for each moment they were together to get out of this nightmare. The dual POV was well written, raw and honest. The author didn’t beat around the bush.

The story was straight to the guts and I loved it. How from pain and heartbreak, two damaged souls found their way back to life and get a second chance to love again, to find their true love. How the characters had to find themselves first, to be in control of their lives again.

Until the end, the author made them work for it, turning this friendship into something more, where they both bloomed and shone together. Just read the book guys, so worth it.

This is the third book I’ve read from Ms. Chapple, and let me tell you her writing just keeps getting better. The writing in Free Falling flowed so well, it seemed comfortable, as if she was telling her own story.
I loved Marcus from the first 2 books. I was completely heartbroken when he lost his girlfriend, so I was happy to learn that he was going to get a chance to maybe find love again. I love that Nate and Lena as well as Gramps make their appearance again. Gramp’s advice was wise, but given in the typical hilarious “Gramp’s style”. That man and his adventures in the nursing home are worthy of their own book.
What I loved most about this book was that Marcus and Maggie were real people. Their struggles were real, and their feelings and reactions to what was happening around them were real. They both were struggling to move on, and could have easily gotten together to try to cover the pain. But that would have ruined their friendship. This story is about the journey to finding one’s self and healing yourself before looking for the one who completes you.
I was completely lost in this story from the very beginning. I loved the easy connection that Marcus and Maggie had. Their chemistry was amazing even when neither one of them were in a place to do anything about it. They brought out the best in each other and I often found myself laughing at their back and forth texts. Once they got together, let me tell you…they were hot, hot, hot! I knew from the beginning they were meant to be together, and the journey Ms. Chapple took us on was nothing short of amazing.
Ms. Chapple is quickly moving to the top of my go-to authors list. I’ll be on pins and needles waiting for her next book.

Fantastic Read!!!!

I adore friendships that turn into something more! I love the value that comes from knowing someone on an intimate level so that by the time the sex comes, the heat and tension is 100 miles high!

GL Chapple not only describes a great relationship between friends turned lover, she also showed us the strength of having friends that know you so well they know you better than yourself.

Both Marcus and Maddie had healthy bonds with the people surrounding them so that when bad things happened the group was there. When good things happened the group was there!

The wisdom in this love tale is unexpected but it packs a punch; making the sensuality in the plot freeing. Like the title, these two free fall into love.

I adored the inner strength Maddie develops!

Her relationship with Christian was difficult but necessary for her journey. His mental abuse was so real! He was a dick and an infuriating character but he was meant to be and it was perfect and he surged the story forward! The truth is people like him exist and relationships with men like him exist so we need to see books about them! We need to see ourselves or reflect on people we know that went through them because maybe we'll grow from it. Maddie was a realistic character written to go through a bad relationship and blossom from it.

I LOVED MADDIE!!!! Her weakness became her strength and I admire that!

Marcus wasn't written to save her he was written to awaken her self value! He was the net that caught her safely but she was still the one brave enough to jump!

Their love was endearing and hilarious at times and I enjoyed this book so much!

I have begun to read book that say they are a stand alone although they can be a part of a series. But this story had a lot of references that I just didn't get right away and at some points took me awhile to get the answers. I feel like there was a lot that I missed from the first two books. Nothing big or the plot of this story but Sam details that I felt like I was missing. The overall story was great. Maddie and Marcus are strong characters that I enjoyed finding more out about them. They both have stories that really capture your attention. And than the famous question can friends become more? Can you put the past behind you and move forward with your life? I would definitely read the first two books first. But the author was great. The story had everything you want in a good read. So I will definitely go back and read the first two so I can see what I missed. *reviewed for Sweet Spot Sisterhood*

Free Falling is a second chance romance. It has some fun lines and entertaining dialogue.

I found it difficult to connect with Free Falling though. It is said to be a standalone connected to a series. However, if you haven't read the others (raises hand) you can be a little lost. Certain points can be inferred but aren't verified until much later in the book. I found it frustrating trying to figure out Marcus' employment. I assumed a policeman but it isn't until 82% that it's verified. Maddie's employment can be verified around 41%, again it can be assumed earlier.

It feels like the beginning of a cute story. I just wasn't able to connect with the characters.

5 Fabulous Stars

Free Falling by GL Chapple is her best book yet. It felt natural, unrushed, and what you want a romance to be. This is a book about finding "You" and and learning to love fully. No uber bad guy, but the ex is beautifully crafted so you want to hit him in the face with a shovel! Marcus and Maddie have both been left in some fashion and both feel alone. Relationships have never been something that either of them were good at, so figuring out how to do that is the challenge they face. Starting as friends, as in the Best friend's Best Friends, gives these two a strong foundation to work with as they build and define the word relationship with one another. Heartbreak, pain and loneliness, had been the status quo for Marcus and Maddie and GL has done a beautiful job at building all that emotion so that the depth of emotion you feel for these two is immense. She pulled several bouts of big fat tears from me and NOT ALL of them sad tears. I had several laugh out loud moments in this gem of a book. You know it is going to be good when the first line makes you giggle!

So lets move on to the juicy stuff. Ideally you want there to be that one sexy scene that you feel the "Alpha Power" .....I have three words for you... Kitchen, table, and Hands. Marcus tells Maddie to hold her hands in that spot and... GO Read the BOOK! Holy Hella Hot! I got the tingles in all the right places! Sigh... yeah I needed a sec after that one! The sexual tension between these two is fantastic.

We get to spend quality time with Gramps!! I love that little old man! He has several wise and sometimes unconventional things to say to our Stubborn Marcus. GL has crafted such a vibrant secondary character in Gramps that has us wanting more from him! Did I mention that I love this man!?!?

As of late, I have been left disappointed with the endings of several books from "seasoned authors". They have felt rushed, unfulfilling, abrupt, or just plain meh. I have to say, I freaking love it when you finish a book with happy tears! GL nailed this ending! Huge tears of liquid happiness streaming down my face! Warm and gooey on the inside, I love it!

This is only book three for this budding author and I must say.... GL Chapple has bloomed! I feel she has found her style, rhythm, and voice. I loved every second of this novel and I am impatiently awaiting the next words GL Chapple graces us with!

To say I had been chasing GL Chapple for this third book in her Fighting Free Series is an understatement. Since finishing the last book, I was desperate for more and I admit to always worrying that the next book might not be as good as the last...but boy did this not let me down.

Free falling sees the character Marcus, who we've met in the other books, struggling after losing the love of his life. His struggle to deal with his emotions and grieve through the anger that seems to consume him.

Excerpt:
I'd become adept at hiding and suppressing the jagged pieces of me, pushing them deep down inside, so nobody would ever know just how broken I really was.

But our secondary character, Maddie, having realised that the life she's leading isn't quite as she expected, it isn't until Marcus makes her realise just how happy she can be without the negative influence in her life.

Excerpt:
...I was exhausted. The smiles that I plasterer on my face were getting harder to find, the laughter becoming more and more forced....I was tired, sick of it all, I just wanted to give up and float away....

With the grieving that both Marcus and Maddie face, although different, leads them both together. Marcus, for the first time since his loss, feels something. Wants to be someone again. Wants to help Maddie...and with the support of their friends they all help her to accept what she's been through and accept that she deserves more...

Excerpt:
He may not be hitting you, Mads, but I'm not so sure he's not hurting you, people don't have to be physical in order to break you - they don't have to hit you t hurt you; words can be just as powerful as a punch.

I could literally rave about this book all day and feel so attached to this series and every one of the characters who all have a place in my heart. This story really kicked me in the gut and makes you consider the relationships you've also had. GL Chapple never fails to bring out emotions in the reader that aren't expected.

An emotional but awe inspiring read that met my expectations beyond what I expected (and I had bloody high hopes!). GL Chapple gets better with each book I read and I honestly never think she can exceed on perfection. Five beautiful stars ✨

Final excerpt:
I want you to want this, but I'll wait until you feel brave enough to jump - just know that I'm going to be in free fall right next to you, and I promise to catch you.

I read and reviewed this book on behalf of my blog Bangor Belle Book Besties.

This is an emotional story of two lonely people, both want love, both feel they fall short in the relatsionship stakes and not worthy of being loved, both have their own issues to deal with. Can Marcus and Maddie find their way through the maze?

Marcus has never felt capable of of trusting and woman enough to give her his complete love. His past with both his mother and father has left him totally jaded. He is in a dark lonely place, grieving the loss of a girlfriend and fueled with guilt that she never knew that he actually did love her. Now his way to cope revolves around getting drunk and meaningless one night stands.

Maddis is Marcus’ Sister’s best friend, she’s a beautiful caring girl. She is in a relationship with Christian. Although the relationship is not at all what it should be, Maddie feels that its the best she can have. He cares about her right? Even if he makes her feel small and insignificant, at least he wants her.

After a drunken girls night out she spends the night at Marcus’ house and during that time they find they can talk to each other. From this point they both fight the emerging feelings they have.

This book is beautifully written, its set at a nice pace and isn’t rushed as the relationship between Marcus and Maddie develops. Your emotions definitely get involved, and at times you want to give both of them a slap around the head and tell them to get to it !!! There are times when you will have happy tears and laughs and times for some painful sobbing !!! The chemistry between the characters melts the pages and keeps you on hooks the whole way. All i can say is Hands !!! yes Hands and hot hot Marcus !!! Their journey isn’t easy, sometimes its very true, you have to learn to love and value yourself so you can love someone else. I really enjoyed this book and loved how it unfolded, and most definitely looking forward to read more from this author.

Free Falling is my first GL Chapple book. Skip ahead to me breezing through the first five chapters and I'm smitten. The writing, the heart and these beautifully broken characters has me not only invested from the get go, but kicking myself that I haven't already read the other two books in this series. Noting that it was a standalone in a series, I was apprehensive about starting it without reading the other two books, but in a flawless effort Chapple ensures that new readers are given the perfect amount of information. A well thought out balance between keeping readers informed and holding their intrigue; there is no doubt that Free Falling has opened up the doors for a full blown love affair between me and GL Chapple’s words.

Free Falling follows Maddie and Marcus, as they battle demons from their past and try to stop them from impacting their future. Opening up the hearts of her characters and showing readers the beauty in being bruised, Chapple takes readers on a journey of love, loss and most importantly self worth. Told in alternate points of view, Chapple effortlessly evokes empathy and compassion for her characters. With steady pacing, and charming secondary characters, Free Falling is a perfect depiction heartache and happiness.

Written with such emotion and soul, Maddie and Marcus will become your friends. Desperate for a happy ever after, your will feel every emotion. Through the highs and the lows and the tears and the smiles, Chapple has written a story worthy of your time and your heart.

Maddie is free falling. Her boyfriend is the worst type of man. He has successfully eroded her confidence and self-esteem with his words and has her doubting herself. Marcus is there to help her pick herself up and dust herself down. He helps her to see her self-worth and builds her confidence up again.

Many will wonder why Maddie stays with her abuser but when you are constantly put down, yet crave for somewhere to belong and are told that no-one else will have you, you start to believe what you are being told.

This was an insightful look at emotional abuse and the road to re-discovering your inner strength. With the right kind of love the people in a relationship will flourish not fall.

I liked the premise of the story it's part of a series which I haven't read, this probably would have helped when it comes to the other characters.
The book is well written but I just couldn't connect with it or the characters. I wanted to like them but I just felt ambivalent about them but I think that is down to me, as I said before I really think you need to read the other books before you read this one.
I gave it 3 stars because it is well written and a good story.

My heart was broken for Marcus at the end of Caught by Her, book 2 in the Fighting Free series by GL Chapple. I was so happy to find out that Marcus was going to get his own story. Ms. Chappell did such a great job of taking his broken, hardened heart, back to the point where he could allow himself to love again. I have loved every book that GL Chapple has put out, and I hope there are many more to come!

I don't want to write a review for this book. Writing my review means it's over and this story simply can not be over. I refuse to let it be. I will throw a tantrum until extra pages magically appear!
Okay, so that's not really going to happen so I ought to get on with what I'm here to do *sulks*

Free Falling was EPIC. From beginning to end, I was captivated. More than that, I was catapulted straight into the story and I lived each moment with the characters.
When I first met Marcus in Lena and Nate's story, I hoped he would get his own book, so I was ecstatic when I heard about Free Falling.

Marcus was kind of lost and I wanted to reach out and hold him. When I started this book, I felt like I really could reach out and touch him. He felt so tangible and real. He's not just a flat character and his story isn't just words on a page.

Marcus is a broken man. Booze and sex are his coping mechanisms of choice. He's not living his life, he's merely existing from one day to the next with nothing but his memories of what life was like...could have been like in the future... Underneath all the machismo, he's a good guy with a kind, pure heart. Though he may not be in touch with his emotions, he does have them, buried somewhere. He just needs help to find them, to find his way back and to help him move forward with his life. He's no good to anybody, least of all himself, if he's living in the past.

Maddie is a compassionate, thoughtful, inspiring young woman. She could have the best of everything if only there wasn't someone standing in her way. I won't say who, but I hate that piece of scum and if he were real, I'd enjoy kicking his ass. I'd show him that you don't treat a dog the way he treats Maddie, never mind another human being.

This story held so much in its pages. There was heartache, loss, guilt, humiliation, depravity...just to name a few. But there was also real connections, lust, passion, love... Both Maddie and Marcus, although for different reasons, need to heal and find a way forward to a better future. They need to learn that it's okay to feel sad, but it's also okay to be happy and feel free.
Can they find their way out of their all-consuming sadness? Pick up a copy of this amazing book and find out.

This is the third book I've read by GL Chapple but it won't be the last. She is a brilliant author. She makes you connect with the characters and really tugs your heartstrings.
The story flowed beautifully, the way we discovered more about Marcus' past was probably one of my favourite parts. I wanted to know him. To see what makes him tick, what pushes him on. And I wasn't left hanging, I got to find all that out and more.
The way GL Chapple writes is so consuming. She sucks you under and doesn't let you go until long after the last word. You'll still be thinking about the book hours, maybe days or weeks after you finished reading it.

I can't wait to read whatever this author writes next. I know it will be amazing. Though I'm not sure anything could top this book right now. She'd really have to pull a rabbit out of the hat... But who knows? Maybe she will!

Free Falling is the third book in the Fighting Free series by GL Chapple and although some characters appeared in the previous two books this can be read as a stand-alone. I didn’t realize until after I read the book that it was the third in the series and I didn’t feel lost at all. This was a good story, with characters that kept me interested from start to finish. Though it did touch on some heavier subjects I thought it was a pretty light and quick read.

In this story we meet Marcus who is a mess after losing the women he loves in a tragic accident. Not knowing the best way to deal with the gravity of the loss he spends his time drowning his sorrows in a bottle and bed hopping with random women. He didn’t have the best role models for a relationship growing up and was sort of jaded so he was struggling to come to terms with everything that happened.

“ I should have told you every single day how much you meant to me.”

Maddie is best friends with Marcus’s sister and when she needs a place to crash after splitting with her controlling and verbally abusive boyfriend she finds herself taking up residence in the spare room at Marcus’s house. The two inadvertently spend some time together and wind up becoming good friends. It’s really cute how they text each other random nonsense throughout the book. I liked how their relationship developed at a slow pace, they didn’t rush into things.

“ You make me feel alive. You make me want more. You make me want to try.”

It gets a little bumpy when Maddie’s ex comes back and she starts to question where she truly belongs and if what she thinks she feels for Marcus is real. Marcus cares for Maddie but because of his past he is afraid and is struggling with what to do. So he does what he thinks he has to and gives her the space she needs to figure out what she wants but will she come back and give them a chance or will she stay? This is the story of two broken people who are trying their best to find love and happiness, and I was rooting the whole story that they would find it with each other.

“You made me believe in fairy tales again and I get to live my own every single day.”

Ok so I had a pretty hard time with this one, I couldn't connect with the characters and I couldn't feel the chemistry. I'm not sure if I was in such a book hangover that I struggled with this or if I just didn't like it. The book was well written and once I got past the 3/4 mark it did seem to keep my attention a little better.

This is the first book by this author that I have read but this is a story that you would curl up with on a cold winters night. It was very well written and a good solid story that held my attention all the way through. This is the third book in the Fighting Free series, so it may be better to read the other two books first to get a better feel for the characters - although I have to say it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the book at all.
Maddie and Marcus are two people who have been hurt in their lives. Marcus is in pain emotionally and is not dealing with it very well at all. He is angry and distant and deals with his problems with alcohol and sex with as many different women he can fit into the week with. Maddie is in a relationship with Christian - but is he the right man for her to settle down with, is she having doubts? She has no self-respect for herself, and being the kind loyal and loving person that she is Christian sometimes takes advantage of that side of her. Now Marcus and Maddie know each other through Marcus's sister and Maddie has always thought of Marcus as a friend but when they find solace in each other with words they both begin to realise that maybe they can help each other deal with their problem a little better, they feel a connection that takes them both by surprise. This is the story of how they deal with it.
I loved Marcus so much, even though he was hurting, he was so focused and direct and knew what he wanted; whereas Maddie was a little frustrating at times and I wanted to give her a good push and shake her just a little. I felt the connection between all the characters - even the secondary ones.
A nice easy flowing story of love, pain, hope with a little anticipation thrown in to the mix to make this a book one I would recommend.

Marcus is EVERYTHING – The End!

Whaaaa? You need more than that? Right, okay, give me a sec…

We all deal with grief differently and there is no right or wrong way with how a person chooses to cope with theirs. My only hope is that you don’t lose yourself in the process and this was my greatest fear with Marcus.

I love Mads. She is so full of heart and the bestie we all wish we had. I found myself identifying so much with her in this book and her greatest fear resonated to the very core of me.

Never settle for second best – to quote a saying I read a while back, “The tongue has no bones but it is strong enough to break a heart. So be careful with your words.” Words should never be used against someone we profess to love.

“My heart beats and my lungs breathe – I’m alive, but I’m not living.”

Can Marcus help Mads see her true worth? Can Mads help Marcus realise life is worth living? Like a jigsaw puzzle, maybe they’ll find their missing pieces in each other.

“You make me feel alive. You make me want more. You make me want to try.”

The author’s writing evoked so many emotions in me as I was reading this book. I cried with them, full on belly laughed, felt like a voyeur (no joke – Marcus will have you panting!) and I could have caused a certain someone grievous bodily harm. Something tells me you can’t claim accidental damage on your insurance for lobbing your kindle at the wall through anger *shrugs*

I adore Gramps and was so happy to be able to catch up with him, Lena and Nate.

I may have wanted to be Mastered by Masters in books #1 & #2, but Marcus could mark me any day!

Fell hard for Marcus and Maddie.

This was a fantastic book. I just adored Marcus and Maddie.

Marcus is still raw from the loss of his girlfriend he's a mess and won't accept any help.

Maddie is in a relationship that's slowly suffocating her. She doesn't know how to make things better she being worn down and starts to think maybe she's the one in the wrong.

Marcus knows that it doesn't need to be physical in a relationship to count as abuse. Sometimes the emotional and mental parts can be worse and destroy someone just as much.

Marcus has seen Maddie become a shell of a person, he wants to help but he can't really help himself at the moment.
That doesn't stop him sending a few messages and starting to slowly build a stronger friendship with Maddie.

It's just friendly messages between friends which are hilarious at times the back and forth really made me laugh.
But somewhere along the way a bond between them grows which neither one is prepared for but neither is willing to give up either.

This is a series that's definitely worth a read its highly enjoyable.

Pain Hurt Heartbreak & no where to turn......

These things emotions are not anything knew to Marcus or Maddie,

meaningless drunken nights is what has become Marcus'a life, he is trying to keep the train of thoughts in his head numb.
But when a wander home to his sisters house see's a late night visitor who leaves a little niggling feeling with him that might, just might be the wake up call he needs....

Maddie
A beautiful girl who just wants to be loved not something that should come as such a chore, so when she finds Christian she settles into a "Love" that maybe isn't the kind that should be settled on.
But what happens when comfort your looking for is not in the direction your love should be aimed at..,.

Love it's a funny thing we all have things we love, but when it's something you crave or something you think you've lost,
you need to keep killing until that right love your looking for finds it's way into your heart and soul.

Enter GL Chapple, she takes us through some challenging issues in this book and it has issues we can all relate to and it makes you really open your heart to her characters words.

I loved Marcus in the Fighting Free series and I was so glad he got to tell his story, little did I know how much much more of a journey would I be taken on with these 2.

Loved it G real raw honest & relatable. I loved the growth and the story this book told.
