Kyle is an omega, one of the rare and precious male shifters that exist in wolf packs. Born capable of breeding like a female, he was raised in the cruel environment of his sire, Haldon’s, pack. He’s spent his entire short life dreading the time when he’d be expected to breed as many pups as possible. His fears are realized one night when Haldon hands him over to the frightening, yet sexy, alpha of the new Rogue Pack. A few minutes in the virile alpha’s company triggers Kyle’s first heat. At first, he assumes the Rogue alpha will breed him then toss him to his pack for sport. The male surprises him by taking him as his mate instead.
Having become the reluctant leader of an unusual wolf pack, Alpha Lorcan simply wants to build a settlement for his ragtag group of shifters. Each of them is either a runaway or an undeserving outcast from packs that treated them badly. They call themselves the Rogue Pack, and instead of turning dangerous and predatory, they have found a new sense of belonging under Lorcan’s guidance.
Lorcan wasn’t looking for a mate just yet, but the beautiful omega male thrust in front of him as part of a treaty with Haldon changes his mind. With his new lands secured, he wants to increase his pack and nothing accomplishes that quicker or better than an alpha siring pups. Although still emotionally scarred from his own sire’s cruelty, he is determined to be a good alpha. Doing so by mating with Kyle allows him to mix unwanted duty with unplanned pleasure.
As Lorcan and Kyle work to form a bond as a mated pair, outside forces threaten to come between them. If their lives together are to become more than mere duty, each of them will have to overcome his painful past and learn to trust and love.

Wow, why didn’t I discover Samantha Cayto sooner? 😱 This is one of the hottest shifter sex books I’ve ever read. 🔥 And to make things better, the story is actually interesting and decent. 😉 I’m sure I’m in for a very enjoyable series. I loved this book and I just can’t wait to start reading the remaining books in the series. 😌
Kyle was an abused omega who never knew kindness or patience or protection towards him in his short years. And when he was handed over to the rouge Alpha by his Sire, he really didn’t have much expectation from the man. After all, all shifters except omegas and females are abusive, dominant and ruthless. Why would the rouge Alpha be any different? But Kyle has no idea that there’s a lot of unknown waiting for him in the store. His alpha and mate is nothing he ever expected from an Alpha and everything he ever dreamed of. 😉
Lorcan hadn’t thought he’d come home with an Omega mate when he went to talk about a peace truce with the Alpha of the warring pack. Kyle was sweet, breathtakingly beautiful and shy. If he ever settle down, Kyle would be the kind of mate he ever wanted. Still, he had a terrible past and he wasn’t sure he’s capable of ever loving someone. It’s time to live, learn and love. Will Kyle be able to teach Lorcan the meaning of true love and family? ❤️
As the relationship between these two men develop, they realized that what they have is more than just a mere physical attraction. But Kyle has a dark secret that he dare not reveal to his Alpha. And when Lorcan found out what Kyle had been hiding from him this whole time, the trust that they diligently built between them got broken. 😭 Will they be able to overcome everything with their love in the end? ☺️
The story isn’t that complicated and the angst is low although there sure was some sweet angst. The sex scenes in this book is so freaking hot!!! Lots and lots of growling, sweet delicious knotting and awesome shifter sex. It was simply sizzling! 🔥 Loved it! 😍 I also like the relationship development between Kyle and Lorcan although the plot was quite simple. It’s just a sweet, fluffy, cute story with lots and lots of smoking hot smut. 🔥 And the ending and the prologue was dope. I’d definitely continue to read the remaining stories in the series. 😘
Favorite excerpts from the story: 💜
“Please, Alpha, please. Mount me. Mate me. Breed me!”
There was no sound other than their heavy breathing, but inside, Kyle’s wolf gave a soft howl of joy. A deep answering howl reverberated within his head. Lorcan’s wolf bayed in pride and arrogance. With their joining, he could hear it, sense it on a primitive level, and for the first time in his short life, Kyle felt like he belonged. He felt safe.
“Please, Alpha!” “Say my name.” The command came out in a guttural growl against Kyle’s throat. “Lorcan,” he whispered, unable to deny his mate, yet still scared to break with the tradition he knew.
“Oh, Lorcan, you have nothing to feel insecure about. The whole pack trusts and respects you. And, I, um.” He stopped and licked his lips. His cheeks got even redder. “I love you.” For a brief moment, his heart stopped. He swore it did. “You do?” When his mate nodded shyly, Lorcan laughed and pulled him tight, slinging a leg over his omega’s thigh and placing his hand on the round belly. “Thank the Gods because I love you, too.”
4 lots and lots of delicious knotting stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kyle, an Omega, is sent as a peace offering to Alpha Lorcan's pack of rouges after a dispute. Kyle has seen omegas treated as breeders who get passed around and is terrified of what is to come once he's in the hands of the this new Alpha. However, Lorcan shows that his pack is not like the one Kyle grew up in.
This was a quick shifter omegaverse read, and I did enjoy it for what it was. We get heat sex, knotting, and mpreg.
Overall it was an okay read. I've wanted to read this series for a while now, and while I did have some issues with the story, I will check out the next book in the series.
I was very, very pleasantly surprised when I got this and read it! I love me a good alpha/omega mpreg story, but so many of the are either smut with poor or little plot, or just poorly written. This had characters with great chemistry, a great story going on at the same time, pack dynamics, and mpreg! Very happy to read something with some substance and quality.
It was a nice short PNR book with no cliffhangers or plot twists. I liked it for its simplicity. Two opposing packs, shy omega and gentle alpha, a relationship that gave new life. I love babies, and here there are a few and how great is that! Both Kyle and Lorcan find happiness in each other's arms. Kyle becomes part of a pack and feels loved and safe which was what he always wanted, and Lorcan finally finds love and creates a family of his own. It's a very light cute read.
I somehow didn’t find the sex very appealing, though this kind of thing usually works for me.
If they’d bothered to talk at all instead of just fucking, there would have been no conflict and I thought it was unfair of Lorcan to be so upset with Kyle over talking to his sire.
Hints of interesting worldbuilding but nothing is properly explained or utilised. It's ABO + sigmas and gammas, but no explanation of what that means or how it works. It sounds like there's both a biological and a psychological element to the designation but...I'm not sure?
4.5 stars...I really enjoyed this. I love when I read a book from a new author and it's good. The best thing that ever happened to Kyle was how he was given to Lorcan. At that time he didn't realize how great that really was. They were perfect together. Looking forward to reading more from this series.
This was an interesting start to a series. The setup was good and the two MC, Lorcan and Kyle, are flawed but very likeable. I liked the world-building around the pack, how they came to be and the direction Lorcan wants to take them.
I really do wish this book had been longer. With the setting up of the ABO world taking a certain amount of time, the relationship didn’t go as deep as I hoped. But this was still a good, short read and now I’m off to book 2.
This was a short quick read that I liked and a hot book cover. Kyles Alpha sire Haldon gives him to the Alpha of the Rogue pack. Lorcan is the Alpha of The Rogue Pack it's a pack made up of misfits shifter's who either ran away from there home packs or was kicked out each one suffered some kind of abuse and Kyle was no exception. Kyle is an omega who has been told his whole life that he is only good for one things to give birth to pups. He is scared to death when his father gives him to Lorcan he thinks that he will be abused and used by the pack and he is surprised when none of those things happens Lorcan is very kind to him. Kyle has a secret he is suppose to be spying on the pack for his home pack. This was really good book Kyle learned that what he was told about the pack wasn't true for the first time in his life someone cared about him. When his secret came out he thought that Lorcan would send him back to his former pack. The sex scenes in this book was pretty good. This was my first time reading this author although I have a few of her books on my tbr list. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
I really enjoyed this book, it is a fun, low angst and sexy read. I love Ryan and Lorcan and the whole Rogue Pack. A short very well-written novel that I really enjoyed reading. I can't wait to move on in the series!
An easy, fairly straightforward omegaverse novella. This has a more complex pack structure than I've seen before - alphas, betas, and omegas, but also sigmas and gammas? (i think) I am intrigued.
Most of this is just heat sex, until it becomes pregnancy sex. Cute start, easy fluff read. Some creative wording as well.
I've been reading quite a few "Omegaverse" stories (male Alpha impregnating a male Omega), and most of them have been cheesey, sometimes eye-rolling but sweet escapist reads. This story has a simpler plot than most, but I found the heat and the characters and the writing to be much more compelling than most other Omegaverse fare.
While the story was very basic, I felt the descriptions of the characters, their emotions and the setting were interesting, believable, and written with more sophistication than many others, their evolution coming across as relatively natural (and I never felt jarred into suspending disbelief, as happens in so many simplistic but heated short erotic romances).
In addition, the amount of heat was similar or a bit higher than other Omegaverse stories, but I found the sizzle to flare much hotter than normal. In particular, this author writes male/male physical connections better than many from the same genre. I often find myself thinking some explicit encounters in male/male romance, especially in Omegaverse stories, read much more like male/female couplings, where the Omega really could have just as easily been a woman. In this work, the Omega came across as much more male to me, the explicit scenes reading more like the man-on-man explicit interactions that I've experienced than in many other Omegaverse stories I've read.
Nothing too vexing really in the storyline. A little drama over who Halden really is to Kyle but other than that...
I wasn't thrilled with the mating first night attitude. Lorcan decides Kyle is going to be his mate, but never actually asks him what he thinks or feels. Biologically speaking, I am ok with it, since Lorcan triggered his heat, he's get mounted anyways but he was never given a choice.
Well, I believe this story could have been so much more. The conflict seriously needs more work because to me there wasn't much to it. It was done and over within a blink of an eye. Therefore, the story just consisted of Loran and Kyle mating to conceive. Once that was done there wasn't too much to the story. Honestly, I really didn't feel the chemistry between the two MC's. In addition, the characters seemed a bit underdeveloped. I am hoping that the next book in the series is refined.
I really enjoyed this story. It began slow and sweet, got hot and steamy, and ended up tender and loving. Very well edited and I very much liked the supporting characters as well. I'd definitely be interested in reading more of this series.
This was kinda cute and sweet and with quite plenty of spice. But for some reason I couldn’t get into it that much and I found the smut scenes a bit repetitive.
Might be good to read in between heavier and longer books.

A really nice and sweet Alpha/Omega story. Full of hot sex, with knotting and mpreg. Low on angst and not very plot-heavy and yet I enjoyed it a lot ;) I'll definitely try out the following books in this series :)
Hey, this is actually pretty good. I can only imagine how much more I'd have liked it had the book been a little longer. Not that it needed to be, necessarily; it had a solid plot, good characterization and hot sex...with knotting. What's not to love?
Definitely going to read the next one...probably right now. Yeah, right now.
Surprisingly satisfying while I had been mostly expecting pwp omega shifter fluff. I think I'll go ahead and indulge in the next one, since I want to see sweet Joey get his HEA.
This is one of those books that will stay with me for a long time. It's exactly what I like my shifter books to be. With the exception of Kyle's mistreatment by his former alpha. I loved his shyness with Lorcan and how sweet and gentle Lorcan tried to be for him. I loved Joey and Mabel and how the pact was small and tight knit. The longhouse and community meals and movie nights made me smile. I loved it. But I mostly loved the connection between Kyle and Lorcan. The distance that grew between them broke my heart but the way they reconnected brought tears to my eyes.
This was fine I guess? I have definitely read a lot of fic with exactly this plot that did it just as well or better. I feel like I didn't get to know the characters well enough to care much about them but there also weren't enough explicit sexy times to justify reading this only for the porn. Things happened incredibly fast and several emotional steps were skipped to get the Omega pregnant as fast as possible. I guess that was supposed to be the hook? But again, not enough investment in the characters to make even that dynamic enganging.
3.5 stars this is a mpreg wolf shifter story. it has a ton of sex, it is almost all sex and a little plot kind of book, and that's ok if it is what you're in the mood for. I liked a lot the writing style and the setting of the story. But I am a big sap at core, so I would have preferred more character's insight, more relationship development and more dialogues between the mcs. I recommend this book if you like shifter stories, omegaverse and a quick hot read.
