Roxanne Greening is a mother of two young children and lives in the beautiful rural area in West Virginia, USA. It was because of her love for reading romances, that Roxanne decided to write her own. However, it is the MC romances that she enjoys writing the most. "Being able to become a rebel, an outlaw (in fiction) is a powerful thing." And so Axel, the first book of the SONS OF THE APOCALYPSE, was published in August 2016.
Her comedy nonfiction, The Rantings Of A Crazy Person, was born out of demands from her family and friends to write about her own experiences. And her children's book, The chronicles of rocky and binx aka the steam punk kid and the angel of death. Titanic's Doom! Came from wanting to write a book for her son who suffers from ADHD.
Roxanne also enjoys to quilt, and secretly want to be a ninja.

Ever read a book that bordered on ridiculous and was rife with endless mistakes but for some reason you still seemed to enjoy it.....well, this is it.

First of all, I have to say that I really cannot explain why I did enjoy this book. Perhaps it is just because I am a big sucker for MC books, alpha males and unexpected pregnancy.....

Which brings me to what I did not like.

1. I did not read the first book because I did not realize it existed until I was already reading and I started feeling like I was missing something.

2. These kids were young, real young and unrealistic. (Even though it is fiction and authors are entitled to pushing the boundaries, I still want to find it at least somewhat believable.)

3. The mistakes!!! Oh god, the MISTAKES! There were errors on every single page. Someone please introduce Roxanne to the words too, their and they're. Literally every single to in the book was spelled to and every single there was a there, and this is only the beginning. In human was used instead of inhumane, wont instead of won't, whipping instead of wiping. I am sure you get the point. Add in to this that the book was composed of tons of super short sentences and I had a lot of issues with grammar and editing.

Overall, this was a quick read and I never thought about giving up on the book, however this almost felt like a high schoolers attempt at writing an MC book. I give it an A for effort, but I really want a paper copy, a bottle of wine and a red pen to go over this one.

Very disjointed

Was really hard to read. The story idea was not bad at all but the grammar, spelling and the complete lack of editing was astounding. Not to mention the misuse of word meanings.
I sometimes enjoy a quick easy read, but this was just sped through. Even the slams against other women ( and good grief, these poor guys can't go anywhere without out women throwing themselves at them) were juvenile at best. I also enjoy a badass female, even a slightly crazy one but these chicks seriously need lithium.

Thought about the book: I loved this book!!!!! Jace and Ella’s story just took me away. I felt like I was there with them. They made me made, cry a LOT lol and feel the lost and happens that they had gone through in the book! As I started off reading their story I thought on no, here we go again a girl falls for the bad boy of the pack, they will hate each other until the end and then find out that they were made for each other BUT that was not the case in this story! They became a “thing” from the start and I was like okay okay let’s see where this goes lol Loved the fact that Jace stood in front of the group and declared Ella his “old lady”, that made me feel special placing myself in Ella’s shoes. Understood when Jace had to leave but mad at the same time. But I did love the fact that he went out and bought a house and a puppy <3 for her and made sure that if he didn’t come back she would get all his money and be set for life, that to me right there was his way of telling her that he loved her even if he didn’t say the words or would never say the words. Cried like a baby when Ella’s brother handed her the letter from Jace and cried like a baby when they tried to tell her that he was still alive and again when he woke from his coma to show her that he was real and that it wasn’t a dream! I would have been a happy reader if the book ended there but it didn’t :o After Jace is better they ride off into the sunset to find themselves in more trouble lol Not only did Ella show Jace how to love but Jace showed Ella to be strong even if he is not there for her, in the end having her dragged off by her stocker to here gun shots to thinking that she had once and for all lost the love of her life to knowing that Jace would not want her to just give in to killing her stocker with Jace’s gun. Just keep fulling more and more in love with these two characters.

Thought about the writing and layout of the book: The book over all was a great read. The story was well written and flowed from Ella’s point of view into Jace’s point of view. I did get lost a little at one small part in Ella’s point of view with an event that happened but was cleared up once I read Jace’s point of view in the next chapter.

What I liked: The story as a book over all was great and like I said the author did a great job tell the story at hand. Jumping right off into the story with finding out background things was a great way to tell their story. Also liking that you get to see what Ella and Jace thought on the events that were going on and not just one’s thoughts and having to guess at what the other might have been thinking.

What I didn’t like: There was nothing that I didn’t like about this book!

Would I recommend: Yes, I would!!!!!!!!!

Loved this book.

I was pulled straight into this story and never lifted my head until I had read the last word.
This book is packed full of twists, turns and surprises. Bloody brilliant they are.
Every single emotions that the characters went through I felt, so if they laughed so did i, if they had a smile on their faces so did i, if they cried so did i, certain parts of this book really got to e emotionally.
Ladies if your are an MC fan and not read this series you are missing out. I know that this is a series I will read again.

We spend our every waking breath searching for love, it knows no bounds, does not discriminate. But that search for some of us either comes to early and fizzles out or comes to late and we end up longing for more time. This story was exciting, it gave me chills, made me laugh out loud and made me cry. There were a couple of publishing or grammar errors but all in all, I am ready to read more of this Author. Jace was just the begining for me.

Ok I know I read better MC bikers before, however I did like reading Jace story. This book had me a little emotional toward the end (no tears), but wanting to jump in the story and strangle Ella for a minute. I was relived that Jace pulled through as the author wrote this story.

I recommend this series but just warning there is language that would make a sailor blush and not made for anyone under 21!

I received a copy of this series from Roxanne herself and she is such a wonderful person!

This book.... omg the feels! I cried like a baby, which doesn't happen that much anymore when I read so it hit me hard! I even told her that she tore my heart out!

I received a review copy of this book. This book had a great story and storyline. This was a truly heartwrenching story, but the editing left much to be desired. I would like to read more from this author and look forward to seeing what she produces in the future.

Review: Jace is the second book in the Son of The Apocalypse MC by Roxanne Greening. This story can be read as a standalone, but I do suggest reading them in order for the best experience. This story begins two years after the first book, Axel, and tells the story of Ella (Axel’s twin sister) and Jace (the VP of the MC).
For roughly two years Brandon (another MC member) and Ella have had feeling for each other, but Brandon never stepped up to claim Ella. In fact, all he did was the easy club girls. During the past year, Ella gives up waiting on Brandon and realizes that she has feelings for Jace. Having always cared about Ella, Jace quickly claims Ella. What will Brandon do when Jace claims her? What will happen when someone starts threatening Ella. What will Brandon and Jace do?
A great second book in the series and I read it in one sitting! Looking forward to the next story, Brandon!
