Life's lessons are not always held in a classroom.
Teresa Goldman may cook, wash countless dishes, and serve the townspeople meals in her pa's restaurant, but that is only until she can throw off her apron and stand on the steps of Cascade's first school and ring the bell. I received this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review and I was thrilled when I read this book. I adored this historical western romance. Maggie Ryan always does such a wonderful job with her books and this one is no different! I loved the characters of Roger Morrison and Teresa Goldman. Roger is strong, loves the land, is hardworking, protective, loving, kind, and patient. However, patience only goes so far when the woman he loves acts like a brat or puts herself in danger. Teresa on the other hand, is used to getting her own way, has some growing up to do, is feisty, caring, strong willed, and jumps before thinking things through. Together they make quite the couple. Roger supports his "Tessa" with her dreams of becoming the town's next school teacher. When things don't go as everyone thinks they will, Teresa has to adjust her life and her expectations accordingly. Through out the ups and downs, Roger is by her side with a lot of love, support, and when needed a "warm bottom" to remind her of his expectations for the woman he loves. I highly recommend reading this delightful story!! The author has not only a strong couple but many supporting characters that only add pleasure to the story and the readers experience. The men talk and help each other understand their wives. The women develop friendships as they spend time with the children and talking about the many challenges the wives on Rose Ranch face along with the many spankings they receive. Then there are also the rest of family and friends that live and interact within the story that I found some characters to be fun and loving while others a little mean spirited. Overall, I loved this whole book with all the friendships, love, spankings, and sex scenes. While it is part of a series it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone as well. All I can say is Wow, well done!!

I absolutely loved Teresa and Roger!!!! He was very strong and consistent and loving. She had a heart of gold and LOVED the children in town immensely. Life didn't go exactly as planners we but it turned out great and made a beautiful story

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review.
His Errant Educator is a sweet story that brought to mind the characters and setting of Little House on the Prairie - assuming Mr. Wilder spanked Half Pint anyway. I have not read the first two books in the series, and felt a bit lost since the couples from those books, particularly Agatha and Wyatt from My Sassy Settler, make extensive appearances in this book. There are also references made to events which occurred in previous books that I didn't know anything about. I did eventually catch on, but I don't agree this book stands alone - it is clearly part of a series and in my opinion would be more enjoyable if read in order.
Based on reviews of the previous books, this one was far milder and more fair when it came to doling out punishments. I didn't doubt the fact that Roger and Teresa loved one another. Personally I have trouble with punishments that treat the woman like a little girl, but have to admit Teresa did act much like an immature girl at times.
A sweet romance with spanking, but not one that will stick with me for long.

teacher position at the new school. Tessa (teresa) gets herself in more predicaments that could endanger her health and well being. Roger keeps warning her to listen and obey, not Tessa. There is also Wyatt and Agatha, Richard and Anna, Charity and James. Of course all the women are
submissive and yet still find themselves being naughty. Tessa falls into the ice because she was skating where Roger told her to stay away from and he threatens to warm her seat only to be heard by her dad Benjamin. Roger finds himself in hot water with her dad. She continues to get in trouble and so she gets in trouble with her sister Barbara after they have demolished the kitchen. Benjamin takes Barbara to the shed and after
talking to Roger he gives his permission for Roger to administer punishment after Tessa agrees to marry him. She gets in more hot water for sure and he administered punishment as necessary. All of the people at the RR helped build their cabin and they helped them with food and everything else that they would need. I THINK YOU CAN HANDLE ANYTHING LIFE THROWS AT YOU
What a great addition to the Willamette Wives Book Series where we get to see so many of the characters that we have already learned to love. The books will read as a standalone, but even better when read in order.
The plot of the story is the relationship, courtship, and marriage between Teresa Goldman and Roger Morrison. Tessa, as he calls her, has a tendency to be a bit strong-willed and lets her attitude and temper get her into serious trouble. Roger proves that he loves her, enough to take her in hand when she acts out or puts herself in danger. Teresa has always wanted to be a school teacher and now that the new schoolhouse is completed, she is waiting to be asked to teach but gets a huge shock and disappointment. I love how the wives of the other men from The Double R (Rose Ranch) show her friendship and offer guidance. We see more of the characters from previous books, and other budding relationships. I look forward to more stories in this series.

I love all of Maggie Ryan's book and this one is no exception. If you love a love story with a HEA with a bit of sass on the side then you will love this one.
It is a really sweet story of a sassy girl who captures the heart of a man not scared to take her over his knee in an effort to keep her safe. Theresa is a sassy 18 year old with dreams of being the towns teacher. Roger has his own dreams of making her his wife. As soon as she accepts his marriage proposal she is over his knee like a child to receive his unconditional love and direction. Theresa makes friends with the other ranch women and gets accepted into the ranch family. This is a love story with sass and I honestly could not put the book down until the end. Loved it! !

This is the 3rd book in the Willamette Wives Series. Although the focus is on Theresa and Roger as their relationship develops, a lot of time is also spent catching up with the couples from the previous books. I really like the opportunity to step back to a simpler time with this series. The author does a really good job of bringing the era to life for the reader. The characters are all likeable and well developed. The four women of the series are all similar, but at the same time the author has managed to create unique personalities for each of them. I look forward to continuing on with the series.

This is the third in the Willamette series. You can read it alone but it is more enjoyable to read all of them. What I particularly love about this series is that characters from the previous books are prominent so you get to read about their continuing lives. The newest woman, Theresa, I found a little annoying at first as she wouldn't take responsibility for anything and acted so childishly, but all the more reason for Roger to take her in hand. I loved that Agatha and Wyatt are so prominent in the book- their relationship is loving while Wyatt is still stern with her. Agatha is struggling with something and Wyatt is alphalicious. They are a big part of what made this a 5 star book.

In this book, we revisit The Double R Ranch. It is helpful if you have read the other books in this series as there are many references to events in those books. For this installment, we follow the courtship of Roger and Tessa. Teresa (Tessa) is quite impetuous and prone to childish tantrums. Roger takes her in hand as their relationship blooms in order to teach her to accept responsibility for her actions. The discipline scenes are good. This book is not as intense as previous installments in the series. At the same time, it is very sweet. We get to know Wyatt and Agatha even better since My Sassy Settler. I liked how the other characters help Roger and Tessa, offering friendship, love, and support.

Absolutely delightful read! This is the third book in this series and I would recommend that you read the previous books prior to this one as this book builds upon the characters and situations that were introduced/occurred in the previous books. I really enjoyed this story of Roger and Teresa’ relationship in addition to receiving updates on the previous three couples’ relationships. These couples, along with their supporting family and friends, make a wonderful extended family. These books show you that even the worst situations can be resolved in a positive manner. This is a sweet story about two really nice young people who fall in love and get married – but of course, before that can happen, there are all sorts of complications along the way. Teresa is 18, and very much in love with Roger – but also anxious to become a school teacher. Roger is a rancher with three other partners, all of whom are married and living a domestic discipline lifestyle – and he is planning on the same for Teresa and himself. There are various complications, and interesting interchange with others from earlier books in the series, although this book can be read as a stand-alone.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was first experience with the Willamette Wives and there is a lot to like, it is a longer, more well developed/satisfying story; appears to nicely weave in familiar characters from past books. It does not fit the typical dd story line of sweet tears and stern fiancés as toward the front of the book and at the very end are two sexy, explicit scenes. So if you like a good story that continues from book to book, with sweet values and a little spice this is a great series for you. My personal preference is a little edgier, darker, sexier but well worth the read.

I have not read the previous books in this series and I feel that to truly understand the depth of the characters in would need to go back. You can find some series where the storyline and character history is explained throughout each book, creating a flowing piece. Others, like this one, mention past events in passing which leaves you struggling to connect the dots.
I do enjoy the story and what I've learned from reading regarding the characters and their history seems interesting and believable. There is a lot of dialogue and for me it detracts from the story and leaves it feeling choppy.

Gotta love a cowboy!
Tessa wants to be a teacher, but she has a few lessons to learn first. What I loved about this book was the connection the other women at the ranch had with each other. The support and compassion was amazing as they took Tessa under their wings. She gets her mouth soaped and her bottom spanked more than once. She has personality and a good heart, I found her endearing.
The characters were a little hard to follow in the beginning because I had not read the first two books; however, after getting to know the characters I am looking forward to the next in the series.

Another wonderful addition to The Willamette Wives Book 3. We get reacquainted with characters from the earlier books but it can be read as a standalone book with a HEA. Impulsive young woman and a strong loving man who uses domestic discipline and unconditional love to help his fiancée grow and mature. Deep insight into the characters development including the secondary characters who are also explored with witty banter and laugh out loud humor makes this a terrific read. I was given an Advanced Reader Copy by the publisher for an honest review and the thoughts and opinions are mine.

Fantastic addition
What a wonderful romance! Teresa and Roger really are perfect for each other, and I loved their journey. A beautifully written book with characters that make you feel like you are visiting friends. This is book three and stands alone nicely, but if you haven't read the other two books what are you waiting for?! Seriously, you can't go wrong. Loved this and am hoping for book four!

I gave this 3 stars because the editing was good, but there were too many characters to keep track of. The story centers around Roger and Teresa's courtship, her immaturity, and his methods in training her to show more respect, and obedience. There is spankings and a mouth soaping. It has a happy ending, and I received this Arc free, for an honest review.

I received this book as an ARC read. Tessa wants to be school teacher, but circumstances change her plans. Roger wants a wife and he wants Tessa. He is also determined to turn her over his knee when needed. The 3rd book in the series, it is a stand alone, but the other couples are included in this book. This means you get bonus spanks.

This is my story that I have read or given a honest review for. I do know that I want to go read the first 2 stories in the series. It didn't take away from this one. I just want to read about the other couples. these was a amazing and uplifting story. great to read when your down in your mood and need to escape and feel like your living someone else adventure.

Maggie has done it again. Her books always keep me interested from the first page to the last. This one was no different. You meet up with old friends from books one and two and get to know two new characters. Roger and Teressa are another couple you'll fall in love with as well as their story. You dont want to miss it!

I really enjoyed this installment of the series and it was great to see familiar characters. The love story between the H/h was sweet.
