This was one of the better ensemble stories I've read in this collection, but I can't help but think that the story was mainly about the Spider-Man supporting cast rather than the main character himself. Sure, he was instrumental in saving the city, but with regards to the story, I can't help but think that Flash Thompson is the main character. He certainly goes through the greatest changes during the course of the story and was also instrumental in saving the city through his actions.

The main thing I didn't like about the story was how quickly people responded to the changes that occur in the story. Not only the physical changes, but in their ability to cope with the changes that come upon them. And of course they all should be having nightmare for years...

I rate this story 3.5 stars.
