The Carnival of Darkness isn’t your average amusement show. It’s a sick and twisted world where men are predators and women are the prey.
Abi, one of these women, has one goal. One all-consuming need. All that she wants is to escape from the life that she is being forced to lead. She isn’t looking for love or even lust, she just wants her life back. No matter how lacking that life had been.
Christopher is the King of the Fae, whether he likes it or not. A MAGICAL MUST READ
1st let me say THIS IS A 100% SPOILER FREE REVIEW.
With that out of the way, I will 1st say this is so well written you will feel as though you're watching it as a movie. The description Becca put into this story is amazing and in no way overdone. I read this from start to finish without putting it down. That is almost never done by me.
Out of the thousands of girls that visit the C.O.D each year why are only a few kidnapped, what is so special about them?
Abi, one of the kidnapped girls is accidentally rescued, but is the mysterious man who rescued her really the knight in shining armor she hoped for, or does he have other plans for Abi?
Will she be able to get him and his friends to aid in the rescue of the other women being held captive, or will she attempt to rescue them on her own and get everyone involved killed in attempt?
This story is told from different POV's, and while that usually leaves me confused this was so easy to keep up with and know exactly who was "talking", just one more thing that will pull you in and have you captivated by Becca. This story will grab you from page 1 and leave you screaming for more when you finish.
This is an easy and MAGICAL must read, and I am a hard sell on passing out 5 star reviews, yet this was so simple.
If you want to learn more about the most twisted attraction at the C.O.D ~ HELL HOUSE, i highly recommend reading THE UNFORGIVEN ANTHOLOGY, which is where I fell in love with Becca Moree and her unique style of writing. Plus the entire anthology is awesome. If you have the stomach for it I would absolutely read Carnival of Darkness first; however it is not necessary to enjoy this magical 5 star read. And i most certainly don't hand out 5 star reviews unless they absolutely deserve them and both this and C.O.D. did ( as well as the Unforgiven)

Becca Moree holds my imagination like no other as she threw all of my favorite things into one book.
-Dark, twisted elements pushing the envelope on horror......CHECK
-Imaginatively constructed paranormal world that seems completely believable because it's so well written and layered beautifully......CHECK
-Super hottie alpha warriors that make you laugh, with some addictive Irish brogue, and if you can stand it, Christopher, the male lead is perfectly romantic and sexy.......CHECK
-A tough cookie female lead that can take on the world before breakfast......CHECK
-Thrilling Fight Scenes, searing hot sex scenes, detailed backstory, exciting suspense, and a perfect set up for the next book.......CHECK
I have no idea how she does Multiple POV without going stark raving mad, but Moree, with her musical prose and limitless imagination created a fluid, concise, amazingly smooth delivery with subject matter that is so, so dark, dirty, and twisty. Do not miss this, or the Prequel Novella Carnival of Darkness!!!

Wow
So, after reading the first story I was ready for this one. FaeTAL was a whirlwind of emotions. First, Brett and Charlee are in trouble like deep trouble. But, Charlee seems to have the worst of it.
Author Moree introduces us to two new main character. Abigail & Christopher.
FaeTAL had everything for a paranormal fan. Darkness, romance, thrillers and wondering what will happen. I can't wait for the next book in the FaeTAL series.

I loved the first book ,which started out like a Twisted ,Crime Thriller at a Carnival and the author morphed it into a paranormal ,but the second book brought in a whole new level , couple and species into this already epic storyline .
I loved the characters of Christopher and Abi together , he is so loving to her although, in the beginning it was rough , but you immediately felt there connection getting deeper over the course of the storyline , especially after they bonded .
I felt like I was going on an investigation with Christopher and his crew, (oh I want a story on every man in his crew) to figure out why only certain woman were being taken at the carnival and in the process find trouble and love .
There are many previously unanswered questions that become known amongst the twists in this part of the journey , but I don't want to give anything away. Just know that this is a well written , wild ride. Where the Freaks in the COD are finally revealed as the Beasts they really are and it's up to Abi , Christopher and his men to put an end to their terror.
That Ending ....What ? I need to know , Now .........

WOW WHAT A FANTASTIC DEBUT FULL LENGTH NOVEL BY BECCA MOREE!!!
When I went into this book with some of an idea of what I was going to read since I read The Carnival of Darkness novella first, but I had no idea how fantastic it was going to be. Becca is able to create a paranormal world that only she could come up with. She has described this world and the intricacies of this world so perfectly in this book. This is my first paranormal read and I was glad that it was. It had everything I wanted in a book from a thought out and in depth story line, from developed characters, different POV's and an explanation of the world that she has created in her head. I did not finish the book not knowing about the world of the Fae, instead I put the book down feeling like I wanted to know more and that I was a part of their world and envied to be a part of their world. Becca puts the right amount of paranormal, love story and heat in this book and she describes it all so well and with such finesse and extreme talent for this up and coming new author.
Christopher and Abi's love story is one that you do not want to miss. I found myself crying, laughing, and feeling everything they were feeling on this journey. I loved the bond and connection between Chris and Abi. His protectiveness and his passionate love for Abi sometimes overwhelmed me and had me yearning for the knight and shining armor to come rescue me. Abi is such a strong willed woman and has been through so much, but when she finally lets her guard down and allows someone to finally love her and treat her how she deserves it is beautiful. Read this paranormal romance and get engulfed in the amazing world of The Carnival Of Darkness and all the amazing characters Becca created, I promise by the time you are done you will feel like you went on a hell of a carnival ride.

They've taken enough from me already. I struggle to hold in my cries of pain. I will not cry out. I will not scream. I will not let my tears fall. I will NOT show them my pain. I refuse to give these bastards the satisfaction they would get from my misery."
"Let me touch you. Let me show you pleasure please," he whispers against my cheek.
Nipping her earlobe, I whisper, "Please tell me you want me as badly as I want you. Tell me you do not want me to stop."
Becca Moree is an author to watch out for. I am so enveloped in the paranormal world she has created for her readers, that I cannot wait to see what she has for us next!

FaeTAL is book 2 in the FaeTAL series and it is Paranormal, Horror and Romance all rolled into one goose bump producing series - I'm gonna call it ParaHorroMance! Becca Moree has broken through the genre barrier creating something entirely fresh and new that will have you losing sleep and not wanting to put this book down until the very end. Her detailed writing has you feeling every slice of the knife or kiss on the lips as if the scene were playing out in front of you on a movie screen. Every detail adds to the story line or character development, there is no fluff in this book. The story is told through multiple views that transition seamlessly without losing the momentum. The Author paints a complete picture with relatable complex characters. Whether raw and vulnerable, strong yet gentle or just downright Evil, I guarantee that you will become completely invested in them and will be begging for more. I can not wait to see where Becca Moree's dark twisted mind takes us in Book 3

Simply amazing
This is the second book of the series and I have no words in my dictionary to express how amazing it is. The story narration is from multiple POV and flows flawlessly. The book has sex, rape and cuss words so not meant for young readers but nothing that an adult can't handle. The action, romance, adventure, mystery as well as investigating angle are amazing to the T.
I loved the interaction between Brett and Charlee, Abigail and Christopher even Brad and Abigail. Even Mac is a concerned boss and a good friend who is trying to locate Brett.
The best part about this book is the flow of the story and the writing which never leaves a dull moment and never deviates from the storyline. One of the best books I have read in recent months.
I am eagerly waiting for the next book in the series.

January 30, 2017Wow, I could not put this book down. One of my favorite authors is Laurell K Hamilton and I Becca Moree is right up there with her. This series is extremely well written and draws you in completely. It's dark and twisted but in a good waay. Now it is definitely an adult read but the scenes are written in a way that'll get you all hot and bothered. Some writers are so crass with those scenes in their books. Not Becca she makes you feel like you're in that world with these characters and I am always on the look out for that kind of writer. I definitely recommend this series and cannot wait for the next book.

Good read
After reading book one I was quickly drawn to the pages if this story. This is the second book and picks up where it left off. I did think it dragged on for a short while and I feel we were introduced to characters that we should have been introduced to earlier. Luckily things picked up rather quickly towards the end and my interest started to spike. Then of course a cliffhanger! Overall I really enjoyed the read.

I had to read this twice before reviewing. I wanted to be sure I had not missed a single, perverted, macabre, freaky, moment of the nightmare inside the Carnival. (Additionally, I got to read a fabulous supernatural story twice in one week.) This tale picks up immediate where "Carnival of Darkness" finishes. This is a dark and haunting depiction of an otherworldly fascination to condescend humans. I'm hooked on this series!

this was another amazing book you wrote. i now have a uderstanding what was going on here at this carnival. what these monsters were really trying to do to these women. i hope in the next one the cowboy gets free and finds his true mate. thanks for giving me a chance to read this book!

Amazing!
I knew FaeTAL would be good based on C.O.D, but I wasn't expecting such a pulse pounding story that kept me on my toes! I couldn't put it down.
