Jane: Part One

Rate this book
After years watching my own back trying to just make it out of a dodgy foster home alive, I thought I'd finally caught a break. As the nanny in a ritzy lake house upstate, I escaped the city and every bad-luck turn a girl could meet there.

Of course, there are two sides to every story, fact and fiction, and here are the facts of my story: My charge is a brat, the tranquil lake house has ghosts...and my new boss is a man no woman should turn her back on.

Mr. Thorneton is more than the master of the house. He has secrets...secrets so dark, they tempt me almost as much as the man himself.

But, my dark and dangerous boss is untouchable. And even if he wasn’t, he’s hard and silent and taunts me at every turn. Only a girl with a death wish would want him.

But I do.

A sexy retelling of Jane Eyre. ***This is part one of an ongoing serial.

A modern day fairytale. The dialogue was often quaint and in keeping with what was the Victorian era. Found the storyline interesting enough and a little intriguing but there was still some questions that arose that disappointingly I didn’t get answers to
