Holey.....wonder!
Hunter is taking crime families off the grid, and that is due to the fact these crime family boss' sold him out. He is a "ghost" who is seeking his revenge. He never intended on seeing/finding Biana. Considering she belonged to the family of the biggest rat in the Detroit area. He is at her grandfather's funeral (of all places) and spots her. Now it is game on. She may play hard to get but Hunter is still drawn to her and her spunk.
Bianca, at her grandfather's funeral is hit on (once again) by her cousin Ricky (who to put it mildly and clean, is a complete pig!) and she starts the same old fight, men in the mafia vs women in the mafia....yada yada (would be coming from Bianca with an eye roll for good measure.) She is so tired of this, and she is creeped out beyond everything because of Ricky hitting on her and his snarky way around her. Then as she is leaving the after funeral meet and eat, she sees this man. At first she thinks he is going to be after her for mouthing off to the leader of the crime families. She soon realizes his look is far from innocent and far from coming to get rid of her. Oh no, that look she is getting is pure, unyielding, unadulterated lust.....and she likes it.
Hunter has been sold out and is living on the streets, literally. He is in an abandoned warehouse, trying his best to stay off the grid, all while killing off the men who wronged him. Now he is at the after funeral gathering, when he spots her. She is a fighter and she is spunky and he is hopelessly smitten....what has come over him. He goes to a strip club, rents a room and a girl, and seriously he leaves without partaking. He can't get her off his mind. So now he is going to win her over. He just didn't realize that he was being won over and he didn't realize it. Is he going soft? What good can come of this relationship?
Bianca can't get over her cousin Ricky, the dumb creep, hitting on her and then pushing the very old school ways to her. How dare he do this at her grandfather's after funeral gathering? Selfish jerk, and then as she is storming out of there to go to her room, she spots this mysterious man, and she is like a moth to a flame....drawn in and unable to break the hold. She can't seem to get him off her mind, and now she is going to a club with her friend to put all of this behind her before going back to school (college) in another week or so. He is there and he is not taking no for an answer, she plays hard to get, and he is snarky in return.
Can they solve all the issues that are thrown at them? Do they banter but that is all? Are there tugs at the heart strings for these two? I will answer the last one, in the twist of this book, there is a tugging at the heart strings, and you will never guess who it shows up for first....not to mention their chemistry is off the charts. Love it.
Please read Kara's newest book, you will really love it too.

You really need to read these stories for yourself!
This storyline is full of action, drama, twists and turns, as well as love. I adore Kara’s books, and recommend her work for all. Cannot wait to read whatever she brings to us next.

Hit It Deep by Kara Hart is an outstanding bad boy mafia romance with a great mix of revenge, betrayal, the mafia, drama, danger, twists and turns, an all-consuming attraction, an arrogant, hot, sexy bad boy, a feisty woman, lust, second chances, love, and a HEA. Ms. Hart weaves a fast-paced story with plenty of action, a great plot that kept me wanting to read more, and characters that you can't help but love. This book does not disappoint!

Time....that's what Hunter Scapoli is living on, borrowed time. Time to sort things out to get revenge on the people who betrayed him. Then meeting her.... Bianca Luciotti changes her. It gives him time to think things through. At her grandfathers funeral, she sees someone staring at her...who is he... but it is Hunter. She hates coming home but time dictates to do the right thing. A story of loner Hunter, trying to do the right thing and now having hopes, dreams and something more in life. Hopefully more with Bianca. A fast paced, gritty drama and my heart went out to Hunter. The chase of keeping alive against Bianca's cousin Ricky who wants to be in charge. Lots of twists and turns and hope coming in the most unexpected of places. Loved it.

This book is an action packed and drama filled bad boy romance. It's rough just like they like it and sweet in a way neither one can control. I couldn't put this book down until I was finished, it has a great storyline that keeps you interested

Firstly this book had some hot ass sex scenes! The author did a great job with those but I didn’t feel the story was believable so that’s why my rating was lower. The hero’s actions just didn’t add up and it felt like their relationship was built off of sex.

I enjoyed this story. I would say that it was about a 3.5 star book. At some points in the story I had a bit of a disconnect with the characters. They were good and I liked them but some of the things they did just seemed to change/happen too fast for it to completely fit for me. Bianca is part of the Luciotti crime family but she hates the life. She thinks it's stupid and doesn't get the appeal. Her father has gone legitimate, no longer a made man or really working for the family anymore but her brother wants to be a part of it. Bianca is tired of everyone pulling out their guns and shooting. Hunter was betrayed by the different families in power and they all think he's dead. Instead, he is laying low and taking them out, one by one, for revenge. He runs into Bianca while doing so, as 2 of the people on his list are part of teh Luciotti family. Theya re both immediately drawn to each other and Hunter has no problem pursuing her. He doesn't know how long he'll live and so is living every day like it might be his last. Bianca on the other hand struggles with the attraction and staying away from him. She isn't stupid and knows that he had something to do with the first killing at her grandfather's furneral but she didn't like that guy and so isn't super upset about it. Hunter and Bianca start interacting and they quickly head to sexual territory. Bianca has a hard time making up her mind though on whether or not they are going to be "just friends" or if they are going the sex route. There is a lot of sexual chemistry between them so it usually doesn't last long but Hunter doesn't have to do much seduction before she gives in. Hunter is still on his revenge kick for majority of the story and Bianca has a hard time accepting/adjusting to that. There's action, a little intrigue and a few twists in this story. I felt some disconnect in a couple of parts but it wasn't enough that I stopped reading or felt the need to. Overall, I enjoyed the story, it just wasn't one of my favorites.

Well his name is Hunter, he is ripped, hot and a bit arrogant, most of all he is vulnerable and alone. I felt for him, he was pretty much forced into the mob life through no fault of his own. Not knowing what happened to his parents when young, left to fend for himself.
Bianca hates being a part of a mob family, all she wants is to become a lawyer but not to work for the family. She would prefer to help others, but her brother and her cousin have other ideas.
Although violence and killing are talked about and happen in this story it is more of a mention, there is nothing graphic. The sex on the other hand is. On occasion it comes across as though Hunter and Bianca have known each other for years, as well as being involved a long time in actual fact this takes place over just a few weeks. But hours sound like days and days like months. This doesn’t spoil the story but it can leave you thinking you missed something which of course you haven’t. It is a good story of a very quick attraction turning very fast into much much more, but fighting it because you know it wont be accepted by others. There is a surprising twist towards the end which I was extremely pleased about. Kara is a good author who manages to suck you right into the story and keep you there to the end, and they are mostly down to earth believable tales. You can picture the mob heavies behaving in this way, being ruthless and doing the necessary, coveting what they know is wrong.

Bianca is home because her grandfather was killed and she is attending his funeral.. When your family is in the business hers is it's just a matter of time that you will be attending the funerals of your family members. The family business is always been kill or be killed and now is no different.But at the after party Bianca notices someone shes never seen before and is curious about him. When she gets to her bedroom to think a little more she suddenly hears a couple pops outside like a tire popping and now she has another funeral to attend. When will it ever end? She remembers why she went to the other side of the country to study law, to get away from all of this. Now she is home and has to deal with all again. Bianca doesn't know who that guy is that she saw but she is pretty sure he's who killed her grandfathers friend. Now she is denying seeing anyone to the family Don. And to make things worse she keeps seeing this guy outside her house or where ever she happens to be.. Who is he?

This is a interesting and intriguing book to read and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The story covers a feisty defiant woman who is studying to become a lawyer (Bianca). a brother who seems to be a drama queen but has ambitions unbeknown to the family (Giovanni), a cousin who wants to get into her pants (Ricky), a friend who has undetermined motives (Teresa), a arrogant man betrayed who is now after revenge (Hunter Spapoli). What you will find in this story is drama, intrigue, suspense, action, a mafia crime family, Irish gang, drugs, guns blazing, hits/murders, betrayals, revenge, stalker like actions, a funeral, strip club, a plan, removal of a Don, a New Don, lust, emotional feelings, love and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written, the pace is steady and not rushed. The characters have needs and desires according to their personality. I would recommend this book to people that like to read a well written bad boy mafia romance with a HEA.

Hunter lives like a homeless man, a ghost hidden in the shadows. The gang life is all he has ever known and in his younger days it was exciting. But now he sees the reality, feels regret for his actions and longs to live a "normal" life. Instead, he is gripped by the desire for vengeance, for justice and he quietly stalks the murderers in the five ruling crime families. Then he meets Bianca and her influence begins to change his beliefs, changes his perspective on life and hope begins to grow in his heart. Reading his thoughts as well as her thoughts, one is captured by the deep goodness that lies dormant in Hunter's heart. The transformation from Hitman to Hero is well written and entertaining to this Mafia loving reader. I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Four Stars.

I read a lot of books by Kara Hart, and usually love them. Hit It Deep--not so much. It seemed to take forever to get from the start to the Epilogue.
Don't get me wrong...the story has all the key elements of a mafia family; I.e. turf wars, punishment, killing off the other families, etc. Plus a romance between two unlikely people, Bianca and Hunter.
Hit It Deep is a good story, and you should read it for yourself. Not all books will garner the same praise from everyone all the time. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Bianca is on a short visit home with her family there has roots in the Mafia. Her father and her does not approve the living way but her brother is under the bad influence and they are nervous for him. Bianca meets Hunter, an outcast who is on the run and is taking revenge by killing those who want him dead. The two quickly get strong feelings for each other but Bianca fear of Hunters life and it is possible for the two to have a future together ? This was a great and very exciting book. It was a good action throughout. I read it without a break. I had two see what was happening. I can definitely recommend this book and I look forward to reading more from this amazing writer.

He is bent on revenge but she changes the direction of his focus. She hates the family business and tries to keep her distance. When these two meet, you know it will be a fun ride.
I love a good mafia romance and this one delivers with great characters and intense chemistry. It is a fast moving story that definitely kept my interest. I liked this story. Hunter the H is alpha, mob Hitman and on the run. The mob thinks he is a rat because he was dating a stripper that was really an undercover FBI agent. So now his "family is out to get him. Bianca the h is a mob princess who is studying to be a lawyer and wants nothing to do with the family business. When Hunter decides that he is done and just wants a life with Bianca, he takes a step that will either leave him free or dead.
Excellent writing with a storyline that will leave you breathless.

Seriously terrible
This was terrible book. The writing was simple at best. Hunter was kind of gross and a manwhore and Bianca was just as gross. She's opinionated and foul mouthed for someone who wants to be a lawyer. Its supposed to be a mafia story but it was just too simple. Not worth the time or money

I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review. I loved it and couldn't put it down once I started reading it. You will love reading about Hunter and Bianca. Will he let her last name keep them apart? Will she be able to stay away from him for her own good? Kara uses strong characters and great story lines. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

Hit it Deep by Kara Hart....Oh my goodness, Kara Hart writes amazing stories that keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a mafia story with drama, suspense, action, hot scenes and lot of twists and turns, ups and downs. I really enjoyed watching Bianca and Hunter's stories unfold. This is a must read or any book by Kara Hart she is amazing.

I loved it. Even though I thought Bianca was a harda$$ at first she grew on me. And well Hunter was just awesome. We all need a brother like Giovanni. He really did come through in the end for his family.
What I didn't like about this book was the inconsistencies.

Hunter is out for revenge but when he meets Bianca he forgets everything but her. This was a great mafia romance. I loved the ending. The story is entertaining and I liked the characters. Hunter and Bianca are steamy together. I loved it!
