This is second time I have read this series and I loved it even more this time around. There are so many books out there about seals and male soldiers but it's not every day you come across a female soldier. This series is one of a kind and by far one of my all time favorite series.
Our heroine, Samantha, is a strong, independent, brilliant woman. Fierce and viscous are certainly ways to describe her but shes also a caretaker. Complicated Creatures is fast paced and will keep you on your toes the entire time your reading. The dynamic between Samantha and Jack is mesmerizing and sometimes messy. This is not an insta love romance. The books are full of angst and adrenaline pumping scenarios. Jack and Samantha are just another small topsy turvy plot within the bigger plot. Alexi Lawless is brilliant for creating such a thrilling series.

Love love love this book. By far one of the best series I've read. I read the prequel and the 1st book and patiently waited for the others as they were released. Samantha is a badass all the way. Laid back girl who knows what she wants and how to get it. She don't back down from nobody. She is gonna be number one at any cost and she works her butt off to be at the top. She is family oriented and she keeps the ones she loves safe at all cost. You will be Team Wes at one point and then change to Team Jack. I have read the entire series more then once and looking forward to Roxy story!!

3 Boring stars
The 3 books are soooo long and the only reason I gave this book a 3 was the writing. The author has a good imagination but too many details. I like the side characters and of course Jack but I wanted to smack Samantha. Noway in hell did she deserve so many chances and I got whiplash from her going back and forth. There is some romance, hot scenes but I felt the author focused more on her military career than the romance. It was so boring at times I had to skim chapters. Also when there was an intense scene and you thought you would finally get an answer, the author goes 15 years back when Samantha was in love with her College sweetheart, God it was annoying!!!

Loved this series! Samantha is the heroine in this series and she is a badass! Finally a well thought out series with a female leading her men into conflicts. It has twists and turns with guns blazing. Well worth the read so go grab it!

Enjoyed the ride!
I thought the overall story was great but I also felt the graphic sexual escapades were gratuitous most of the time. The sample teaser was amazing but the book didn't followed the same path even though I did enjoy the books. I liked Sam and had to learn to like Jack but having Sam be confused about her feelings for Jack and Wes made Sam appear shallow. I feel like I am saying the books weren't good, they were, I just felt there wasn't a balance for someone so focused and logical. I would read this series again.

This series is one of my all time favorites. I have it several times and I never tire of it. It's well written with a strong female lead and two wonderful male lead characters.

Delicious and Complex
The series was deep, the characters well-written, and the story satisfying. Reading the whole series at once was a little tiring and very worth it.

What a ride!
This was a great series! The action, the love story and the complicated plot and characters were perfectly proportioned. The only thing that was a little distracting for me was the translation inserts. When I was reading the book it was fine, but when I was listening to it I had to stop whatever I was doing to refer to the translation. I still gave five stars because it deserved it!

Beware... once you start this novel, you'll fall in love with the characters and won't be able to put this series down! I hope this isn't it. I hope it becomes a series like Jack Reacher where Samantha Wyatt leads her team into even more missions and adventures. The love story was beautiful, too. Realistic, not insta-love like you read in so many books today. I really, really hope there's more! Amazing work, just loved it!!

Incredible and anxiety inducing. I usually read a book a day. This series of 3 plus the prequel (I read it between books 2 and 3, so glad I did it that way) took a week because I just needed breaks. The final book took 4 of those 7 days! So worth it though. I can't wait to see what this author will give us in the future.
