**The three novellas of the New Adult paranormal romance Touch Me, now available in one novel-length collection!**
Demons are real. And now I’m one of them.
For Caitlin Faire, nothing matters more than escaping her abusive stepmother and having a normal life. But when a fun night out ends with Cait hospitalized, and inexplicably possessing magical powers, finding ‘normal’ becomes impossible. Accidentally saving a stranger with her new abilities only makes matters worse, because now the Houses—the demonic organizations that run the magical underworld—are hunting her and she doesn’t know why.
Amar Okoro accepted long ago that he had no choice but to live a solitary life as a demon. The son of an incubus, he knows true love is a dream, but at least he’s escaped the control of the Houses. But when Cait stumbles into his life, she challenges all he believes about demons—and about his heart. An innocent in a world of monsters, Cait will die without his help, but protecting her could jeopardize every trace of freedom he’s managed to gain.
With the Houses closing in and her loved ones in danger, Cait must uncover the reason behind her gifts or risk a life chained to a House with no hope of escape. But when dealing with demons, nothing is ever as it seems. Can she trust the sexy demon who just might risk everything to save her, or is following her heart the most dangerous choice of all?

I took a much needed break after going through a half of L. M. Adams' Twisted Eventide series. The angst, the heartbreak and mental anguish was seriously mentally and physically draining. "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in."~Michael Corleone
While not as emotionally taxing as the previously mentioned work the first book of the Demon Guardians series seems to setup a tale that could be REALLY enjoyable. I reference L.M. Adams' tomes because the same kind of characters are riddled throughout the story. Witches, succubi, incubi, vampires, trolls, werewolves, etc, etc.. If you love the supernatural, pull up a seat and set a spell.😁😁😁
That being said, this is a three book series, so temper those expectations. There are no sure things, but I believe I will place a bet on the ensuing two books being just as good if not better.
Buy it (them), read it (them) and enjoy.👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥
If I could give this book a 100 star rating I would!
I was immediately pulled into a world of the paranormal, succubi, incubi, vampires, werewolves and even some steamy romance too. I could not put this book down. I stayed up all night just to finish it. However once it was finished I longed for the second book. I even wondered what I could read next that might even come close to how much I loved this book.
This book had great world building. I didn't question the main characters motives, or drive once, because I didn't have to, because I knew them. Caite is a ball of fire, but at the same time she just happens to be one of this most loving people ever. I got to understand why she is the way she is, and why she loves her friend so deeply to risk everything that she believes in just to make sure she is safe. This made me love Caite even more than I already did. This book is not just about getting thrown into a paranormal world that she never knew existed, it is also about fighting for a friendship at any expense.
Not sure is bothering me about this book Cait is not very likable to me..doormatish, does not stand up to her step mom or half sisters…think it might upset her dad…but her treatment has been extremely poor that should upset her dad not her standing up for herself…but it seems like her dad does even care for her very much so why bother with them..cut them out of your life and move on…I don’t get people like this…second her friend Ruby if she is such a great friend, why does she let her boyfriend treat u like crap….Amar just seems like a hollow fake person…stunned that there is 3 books and no ending…but after reading this I can see why…
I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of action and it got right to the point. There is a lot of sexual content that I was not expecting, even though there was a warning. If you do not like sex described in every detail, this is not the book for you. If you are fine with that, read on. Like I said, it is a great book that hooked me in with the first words. I am happy that I read it.
3.5 stars. While not usually a fan of incubi/succubi stories I quite enjoyed this one with Cait discovering her heritage and her powers. It is a quick read and was little darker than I was expecting from a YA (but not super dark just more so that my expectations). While not at the top of my TBR list I would read more in this series
It is fast passed but didn't get into this book. The characters weren't really deep so you really didn't care what happens to them. The story line wasn't engaging enough to make me continue reading the next book. It's just okay.
It has the potential to be so good, but the story doesn’t isn’t well thought out, the pacing is awkward, and there isn’t much depth to the characters. I really love the idea though. Very original.
I was drawn in by the first sentence and then I was stuck. Couldn't put it down. Some parts were confusing but I will definitely check the next book out.
This book was fairly well written, but I just struggled to really get into it. I didn't particularly like Cait – she seemed weak and I hate that in a main character – so that didn't help.
I won't bother reading the rest of the series, as at this point I don't really care what happens to Cait.
I really enjoyed the writing and the story. I'm not usually a fan of incubus stories but this author has done a great job. The combination of mystery and suspense with this urban fantasy is worth the .99 cents it costs.
I liked the book and the unveiling of Cait's nature. She has a way to go to become what she needs to be in keeping her human side. I am looking forward to the next book to resolve these issues.
