Eight months is a long damn time to have the hots for a woman who keeps a guy at arm's length. But Crystal Moon is no ordinary woman. She's a sinfully sexy, sass-mouthed badass, and the subject of Bear Whiskey's midnight fantasies. She's also one of his closest friends.

Just when Crystal thinks she has her life under control, scorching-hot, possessive, aggressive, and fiercely loyal Bear pushes all her sexual buttons, relentless in his pursuit to make her his.

The more Bear pushes, the hotter their passion burns, unearthing memories for Crystal that are best kept buried. But there's no stopping the collision of her past and present, catapulting the two lovers down an emotionally charged road that has them questioning all they thought they knew about themselves.

"Because we both need to show that we’re not owned, but one."
I love that Melissa Foster always makes me feel happy, and wanting more, at the end of her books. More of the story, the atmosphere around them, the family, and well, yeah, the hero. Melissa's heroes are the protective alphas of my dreams, with a heart of gold, and hot everywhere.

“So, that scorching-hot kiss was holding back? Holy shit, Bear. Now I’m building you up in my mind to epic proportions you can never live up to.”
His eyes smoldered. “Wanna bet?”

Goddamnit, Bear Whiskey. I've always been a whiskey fan, and now I think I'm a fan of ALL the Whiskeys in this family, and I've only read 2 books. How can you not fall in love with this guy? It's his possessive side, the alpha side, the I'm-gonna-kick-your-ass-if-you-mess-with-my-girl side. And then it's the sweet side, the always-there-for-you side, the patient side, the loyal side. And it's all wrapped up in one hot-as-sin, biker-riding body. Sign me up!

"She’d become so much more than the love of his life. She’d become his world."
Crystal's dealt with a lot of stuff. Most people would have crumbled under the weight of everything she went through, but she didn't. She reinvented herself a few times, as a coping and defense mechanism. She has a life in the city she loves, working for her best friend, at a job she loves. She fought back, and she came back swinging. My kind of girl.

"There were so many seemingly unattainable moments, but she realized that falling in love didn’t count as one. Falling for Bear had been a massive number of moments woven together like an unbreakable web of love."
From the first book in the series, it was plain to see these two were meant to be. Bear's possessiveness towards Crystal was not misplaced, and he wasn't pushy. They wanted each other, but she had so many walls around her that it wasn't easy for him to break through. He went through it one concrete block at a time. Maybe a smaller man would have backed down, but Bear didn't, because she was worth it. Everything about them was worth it.

"He wasn’t judging her or telling her how she should have handled it. He was holding her and still looking at her like she was the gasoline to his engine—and she wanted to be."
Something that really needs to be emphasized about Melissa's writing is that what you see is what you get. There is no lack of communication or drama just for the sake of it. These are characters who are open with each other, who trust wholeheartedly, and who give themselves up to the other completely.

After what Crystal went through, trust didn't come easy. Especially when she knew that the persona she created really isn't who she is, but who she thinks she has to be. She has so much to give, but all the past is dragging her back and swallowing her whole.
When Bear comes along, he knows he wants her. And it's easy to see she wants him back, but doesn't know how to go along with it. And the sweetness of him, his patience, his personality, his respect for her and who she is, and just him win her over. The chapter where she finally lets him in and tells him who she really is and what happened to her really warmed my heart.

"When his arms circled her waist, bringing their bare chests together, it was like coming home. Warm, safe. Perfect."
These two absolutely needed and deserved each other in the best possible way!
Their journey was one worth taking, from dealing with the past, to the romance, the sexiness, the chemistry between them, the family ties, the trust, the love. The sheer happiness of it all, and the happily ever after.

Can I have some more Whiskey please?

descriptionThis cover is SMOKIN' hot! A excellent representation of the hero found within. Attractive and eye-catching (LOVE the pink) typography. I think the composition is thrown off a bit by the placement of the text but otherwise a splendid cover IMO.description

descriptionI was really looking forward to this one since I first read about BEAR in TRU BLUE. Alas this one ended up just being MEH for me. I felt like nothing happened the entire book. It just dragged on and on, and I really struggled with it holding my interest.

description

Chrystal, I found annoying with her hot/cold routine and her "I am not ready yet." It wasn't helped by the fact we don't even get full sex until 70% into the book. Bear although a perfect book boyfriend just wasn't that exciting for me. Was he thoughtful...yes. Was he patient....yes (too much at times IMO.) Was he sexy...yes. He was all those things but none of that translated into any hot chemistry between him and Chrystal. I got SO tired of his constant asking "Can I kiss you?" "Can I touch you?" "Is this ok?" "Can I take your panties off?" I get it she went through something four years prior and maybe it makes me an unfeeling bitch but by the time they FINALLY get around to having sex I had lost interest chapters earlier.

On the positive side even though this was a miss for me I did enjoy seeing little glimpses of the other Whiskey Brothers and Dixie. We also get some scenes with Gemma and Tru and the adorable kids. I am definitely open to giving the next book a try.description

Bear... Oh sweet Lord, please find me a man just like Bear. There isn't enough words to describe the awesomeness of Bear. Is it obvious that I love Bear? Honestly, if you're ever on the hunt for an Alpha who is not only dominant and protective, but also sweet, considerate, understanding, passionate, and every other positive trait we women search for, you can never go wrong with the heroes that Melissa Foster creates. She hasn't made one yet that I haven't fallen in love with.

For eight months, Bear has been patiently waiting for his chance with Crystal. He's always there for her, providing comfort, affection, attention and security, while she runs hot and cold. There's no denying their mutual attraction, but Crystal's got some issues that make her afraid to start forever with Bear. Will she finally truly put her trust in him? And will Bear finally get everything his sweet heart desires? Read the book!

My dissatisfaction came from Crystal. I didn't like how she treated Bear. AT ALL! I'm not a fan of fake people either and she was a big fat phony. But despite that, I did love their story, but that had more to do with Bear than anyone or anything else. There's snark and drama and angst but through it all, there is so much love. When you're finished reading TRULY, MADLY, WHISKEY you'll understand how this character named bear easily captured my heart. I'm definitely looking forward to the stories for the other Whiskey siblings.

It took me 2 weeks to finish this book.
I don’t remember everything,
but this one was constant from the beginning till the end:

TRULY AMAZING HERO! Loved him!

The heroine was very likable. I don’t agree with all her decisions, but she was a good one!

The hero chased her, wooed her. *swoon*
The man stopped sleeping around after he met her!
Finally a decent man! Finally!

He was so patient, so sweet, but also hot and sexy.

He and kitty Harley won my heart. Adorable!

Truly, Madly, Whiskey is OK read. Yes I know that Bear is everyone boyfriend fantasy. I mean he is too good to be true. He is protective, loving and tender at the same time.

The majority of this book is focusing on the attraction between Bear and Crystal. With min drama. They fall into each other easily. But Miss Foster takes too much of the story jiat focusing on their attraction. I need bit drama/ twist in it to make it interesting.

The sex is warm. Not explosive. And that's about it.

I absolutely didn't care about the heroine! Sorry about that! I didn't hate her either. Her issue was legit. Her dealings of those issues were legit. I didn't blame her for blowing Bear hot and cold either, it was very normal response, and it doesn't matter if the trauma was 4 years old.
However, as she has pointed out herself, she was pretentious, and I didn't really like her much.
The hero however, was a different story.
Where the whole book came together:
1. The heroine attended extended therapy to overcome her trauma, magic P didn't just cure it. She actually consulted the therapist when she realised how she had been messing things up for 8 months with Bear and wanted to figure out how to work things out.
2. The guy asks. Oh dear god, the guy seeks clear consent. I can see how this can be buzz kill and annoying for a lot of people but for an assault victim/survivor, let me tell you, it IS a damn attractive trait. No matter how unromantic you guys find him asking Crystal multiple times if he can kiss her, hug her, hold her, dear God, that had to be the sweetest point of the book. A true Alpha cares. A true lover also cares. The consent was taken away from her, so no matter what, he's going to give it back to her. And it's the beginning of their relationship, they'd clearly find their common ground at some point in future, but seeking consent is NEVER unromantic.
3. The first time between those two, he asks her how she wants it, if he should take, or if he should keep asking. He clearly is an experienced lover, to hold back and ask those questions would have been hard for him. but he did it anyway. He was truly in love.
4. He respected her in EVERY way. Even if he didn't agree with her. He respected her wish of the way she wanted to deal with her trauma, even if it killed him. he respected her opinion about his father. He respected her opinion about loyalty and family. He was an amazing partner.
5. He fucking got her a kitten because she needed space and he wanted to respect that but didn't want her to be alone! And the way he treated the kitty like it was his kid, I need freaken heart surgery!
6. He welcomed her brother as a part of his family, and she was his priority and he made that very clear to his father.
7. The WHOLE whiskey family knows how to love, care and respect. specially towards the end, Bullet was probably angrier than Bear was and it was very clear how much he cared about Chrystal.
As I said, heroine was not unlikable as some has claimed, she just didn't work for me. To be honest, she reminds me a little of myself, could be the reason why I couldn't like her. But Bear is what dreams are made of. What every guy should be like. He was not a chauvinist. He was not intimidated by strong woman. He rather appreciated strong woman. He wasn't dominating or controlling. He was man enough to acknowledge his weaknesses and asked Chrystal to accept him anyway, and teach him to be the man she needs him to be. He was respectful and caring! He also was faithful, and didn't sleep around once he made up his mind.

Firstly, can we just say DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN....that was HOT! Like smoking HOTT with the extra "T", cause it was that hot! Bear and Crystal have amazing sexual chemistry in and out of the bedroom, the snarky comments, the sexual innuendos are sometimes hysterical, cause you can just picture Bear and his sexy smile, big muscular tattooed body and charming personality being so dang hot, you will find yourself wishing YOU were on the receiving end of all that deliciousness.

True to the fabulous story-telling of Melissa Foster, the emotional journey for both of these characters is such a strong element that you will feel every laugh, every smile, every tear and every kiss. Crystal has a mighty mountain to climb but Bear is also going through many changes as his professional and personal lives start to clash and he has a few battles along the way.

The Whiskey Family...they are AMAZING. I want to be a part of their family so bad. For such a tough bunch of characters, they are so funny, and I literally was laughing so hard at many of the parts that the siblings would tease each other and I got so emotional at times when you could feel the love that the parents had for their children, even if they don't always show it in the most conventional way.

Truly, Madly, Whiskey was everything I was hoping it would be and so much more. I can't WAIT for more of the Whiskey family to fall in love!

Okay ya'll .... you see that cover ... first of all #WIN and second of all ... holy God, Bear Whiskey was not only sexy in pic form, he was sexy in literary form as well. THIS STORY WAS RIDIC HOT! Crystal and Bear had this love/hate thing going on where sparks would just fly! And for every push that Crystal gave Bear, he pulled twice as hard. I enjoyed the heck out of these two.

This was way more than just a hot read. For me, the journey that both Crystal and Bear set upon was touching and emotional and really heart-warming. Yes, it was sexy, but it was also full of heart. They both had hurdles to get past before they could come together as one and it was so beautiful when they did.

Melissa Foster is just one of those authors that doesn't disappoint. I've read quite a few of her books in the last couple of years and every single one makes me fall in love with her a little bit more. Her characterization is always on point with the story and there is never any fluff nor drama for fluff or drama's sake. You gotta love an author you can always count on to get the story right :)

Sidenote: I love the little nods she did for characters in True Blue. The stories are not connected, but it's like she wants her readers to not forget her pasts characters so she gives them a little nod. I really really like that.

I'm really looking forward to more from the Whiskey family :)

TRULY, MADLY, WHISKEY claims to be a standalone and while I do think the events work well on their own, Foster always likes to mention other characters from her other books. It’s almost like a promotional tactic to get you to read her other books. So that being said, you will encounter some references from TRU BLUE, one of her other standalone titles.

I would say in terms of style this one follows the same tone as TRU BLUE. It’s definitely more grittier and darker, exploring characters that aren’t as polished or well-off as some of Foster’s other characters. The heroine, Crystal, wasn’t one of my favorites of this author’s stories. I found that I didn’t connect with her as much as thought I would. Thankfully, Bear was there to save the book.

I love all of Foster’s heroes. Although they are all sexy, they are all very different from each other. Bear has always had the hots for Crystal but she likes to keep him at arm’s length so perhaps that’s why I didn’t fall for Crystal as quickly. She keeps people away from her too much. It took be a while to warm up to the story, but by the end, I was really convinced with the romance. I like that Foster takes her time and really focuses on the romance of the story. Despite external conflicts, the romance shines.

4.5 "Bear" stars

Truly, Madly, Whiskey by Melissa Foster was a touching and heartfelt read, and I loved it.

The storyline is well written, my interest was held all throughout the book and all the characters added to my overall enjoyment.

After reading Tru Blue I was left wanting more of Bear and Crystal. These two had a special something that needed to be explored.
I'm so happy author Melissa Foster gave us their story in Truly, Madly, Whiskey.

Bear and Crystal were wonderful, passionate and endearing characters that I easily connected with. I loved watching their relationship develop and move from friends to lovers.
They truly belong together, the connection between them was strong and the chemistry was off the charts.

My heart ached for Crystal, she puts up this harda** front but underneath is a sensitive girl who's been hurt in the past and struggling with giving into the strong feelings Bear brings out in her.
Bear was the perfect man for Crystal. He was sensitive, caring, passionate, understanding, patient and would do anything for her.
I fell hard for him, and he made my heart swoon with the way he loved Crystal.
For me Bear was the total package. And did I mention how sexy/hot he was watching him with Harley their little kitten?

*swoooon*

I also want to add how much I enjoyed revisiting Tru, Gemma and the kids. Tru Blue was one of my fav 2016 reads so being with them again made me a very happy girl. Both books are standalones, you do get to see the characters in both books and I highly recommend them.

I was truly touched with Bear and Crystal story, it warmed my heart watching these two souls coming together and finding eternal love.
And for me, the epilogue was just perfection, I may have cried a few happy tears for them all.
A perfect ending to this heartfelt read.

Overall, Truly, Madly, Whiskey is a beautiful and emotional read about two people who have a deep, strong connection that find comfort, support and unconditional love.

Author Melissa Foster has indicated each of the Whiskey siblings, Bullet, Bones and Dixie will be featured in their own novels in the near future. I can't wait! Those brooding brothers need to find their forever love and I'm very curious to see who will be man enough to win Dixie's heart ;)

I can't even tell you how many times I have put Tru Blue on top of my tbr list, but never actually got to start it. Well, now after reading Truly, Madly, Whiskey I feel like a fool.

Words can't describe how amazing Bear is, the most wonderful hero I have read about in a very long time. He's all alpha, but also protective, giving, considerate and has so much love to give, it was impossible not to fall in love with him.
As for the story, it started out perfectly, I was intrigued from the beginning. But as it took off, I felt like secrets were exposed way too soon and after that it just dragged on, nothing was really happening.
It didn't really make the book any less enjoyable, because it was sweet, sexy, cute and romantic, but it took me days to read it for a reason.

Truly, Madly, Whiskey was the second book in the Whiskey series by Melissa Foster.

Bear Whiskey. Gorgeous, cocky, loyal, great sense of humor, and totally alpha. He was the typical over protective and possessive alpha. But he was his own brand of alpha, "No Baby. We don't own. We are one. We share, we love, we protect but we don't own."

Crystal Moon. Beautiful, smart, sassy and independent. Crystal was Gemma's best friend (Tru Blue, book one) and an employee of Gemma's Princess Boutique; although she was all gothic to Gemma's girliness. It was interesting reading the transformation from Chrissy to Chrystina to Crystal and her perception of the different personas. When that was revealed, we knew there was a hidden story and the underlying theme as to why Crystal was Crystal.

Bear met Crystal in Tru Blue and had been chasing her ever since. Truly, Madly, Whiskey picked up where Tru Blue left off. It was told in dual POV and was a journey of healing, moving forward and learning to let their own dreams come to fruition versus living for others or because of others.

Crystal had a tragedy occur several years prior to meeting Bear. Once she revealed her secrets, their relationship progression was probably a realistic perspective for them as soul mates. It was sweet and perceptive. However, for a story, it moved too slow for me and took a long time to develop. Foster dove into their psyche but I was still craving more. I wouldn't change the story, but parts of the timeline could fast forward without losing the affect and importance of the circumstances.

I loved how Foster utilized characters from her other series, but not so much that it's necessary to have read that series first. Foster provided enough explanation that it appeared it was a normal supporting character to her new readers, but yet it tied multiple series together as a bonus for her loyal readers.

Additionally, although Bear was a Biker and part of the Dark Knights MC, it was not the typical MC in romance novels, it was more of a cross between a riding club and a true MC. Their motto was "love, loyalty, and respect for all" and it was the backdrop to the storyline.

All in all, it was enjoyable and a great addition to the series. It's not been revealed yet who is next; however, Foster provided multiple teasers and there are several directions the series can take. Either way, I'm in and can't wait to see what's next on the horizon.

ARC Review: Truly, Madly, Whiskey by Melissa Foster

Melissa Foster has a way of getting under the skin. She writes characters that can break your heart, leave you tempted, inspire you or make your skin crawl from too much exposure. Truly, Madly, Whiskey had them all. Bear, the bad boy has trouble written all over his flirtatious smile and his possessive attitude. Don't let the playful attitude fool, he's fought his share of demons and came out victorious. He doesn't suffer fools and he fights hard for the people he loves. Crystal is his fantasy girl, but behind the tough girl act lies secrets, she's hidden from many including herself. From her frustrating mother to her idiot brother, she's seen her share of hard knocks, but is determined to rise above the life she was born into. The scenery is not always pretty, yet the attraction is overpowering and the main characters are an inspiration. Within the pages of Truly, Madly, Whiskey dwells a message of power and hope.

Audiobook Review: Truly, Madly, Whiskey by: Melissa Foster (Author), Paul Woodson (Narrator)

I truly love this series. Foster breaks through the stereotype of what a hero should be and takes on who they are. The Whiskeys seem to be the anti heroes, but their hearts won't let them not lend a hand to a person that needs it. Crystal and Bear are broken people. Neither knows where their attraction is headed, but when their emotions are tested refuse to give up the fight. Through the words of Foster, narration of Woods on and the depth of the characters, the fierce spirit of a champion takes shape. Truly, Madly, Whiskey proves a heartbreaker can be a hero in disguise. It roots for the underdog and I love that most of all.

"Jogs and gaps and stitches that never held."

because...

Random Ramblings
•What’s up with the names?
•Wow, they are all so protective
•I loved the range of princesses
•I was annoyed by how quickly her mood kept changing especially as he was so steadfast in his love for her

It was just too hard to read this story

I have been hoping that Bear would get a story. His role in a previous book made me want to know more about him and where he would go with love. I was so curious about the connection with Crystal and if it was something there or just an illusion written in to misled. The banter between Crystal and Bear was my favorite. Their interactions just felt real. Allowing for me to easily visualize the play. The chemistry was there and it was intensified by their exchanges with each other. This was a fun read that had elements of sexual charges. Bear was the tatted, sexy, muscular male that was just wanting to be wrapped up with that one special woman, even if he really didn’t think so. Crystal well she was a woman on a mission to rise above what she was born to and raise around. She like so many other has family issues. She had life happen to her early and often. She was a woman that took control of her life and was determined to direct it to where she wanted it to go.

There was much to capture you and send you further in to the read. It was more pleasant if you had a chance to read Tru Blue and get more of a feel for the characters that were going to be the highlight of this current read. Reading about them previously and then watching them grow more in their connection was emotional at points. There was a lot between then and a lot behind them. Coming to terms with things was what was needed. Life decisions were needed to be made. Watching as they come to this realization and doing it together was beautiful.

There are always those that don’t like a read. I for one got what I was expecting. Bear gives his all and Crystal receives it. I recommend this read to anyone looking for a new emotional charged read with excellent chemistry and banter.

I'm going to keep this review simple - like this story.

Things I Liked

Bear and his total devotion to Crystal/Chrystal/Christine/Crissy (whatever it was). I was smitten with him from the first 'Bear' text. And boy, was he patient!

I liked the collection of characters in the story, including little kitty, Harley. The kids were cute, the Whiskeys were cool, and Bear and Crystal's friends were awesome too.

Things I Did NOT Like

All the awkward 'Bear' innuendos.

The ENDLESS kissing. My god, there is only so much kissing I can handle!!!

The totally unoriginal backstory. I've read it a million times. It's boring.

The completely out of line Marriage hijacking! Like WTF are they for real?! Who does that?!

Final Thoughts

I didn't hate this book, but ya know... it was under 200 pages long, and it felt like it took AGES to read it. After the first half dozen chapters or so (which I really liked), I struggled.

Even though it's labelled as a standalone, and it certainly can be, I personally felt like I was missing something in regards to the other characters. It bothered me so much that I checked to see if this was a book two of a series, and it does follow on from another book from this author, which made sense. I would have preferred to start with that one, had I known.

This wasn't the worst book I've ever read, nor was it the best. It's somewhere there in the middle. I'd read another book by this author, but I wouldn't be in a big rush to do so.

Another H that was amazing! Sexy, patient tatted up Biker Bear made this book for me, he held on for months building a relationship with Crystal even though she tried repeatedly to push him away. He never wavered, never fell into a random hookup because he has "needs" Nothing!!!!! Crystal was ok, I tried to understand her because she'd been through a really traumatic experience that I'd hope no woman would have to endure but she came out strong and built a life for herself. The fact that she was never intimate with someone else after her ordeal made the trust she placed in Bear even more profound. I like the Whiskey family and will hopefully read each of their stories.

"She was crazy. Crazy for Bear Whiskey. "

Melissa Foster has certainly become of my #OneClick read recommendations! The half dozen or so novels that I've read have been great reading and left me feeling, well all the feels. Complete with a sexy & swoon worthy hero, a spunky but slightly damaged heroine, and a supportive circle of friends and family, Truly, Madly , Whiskey is another wonderful example of a Melissa Foster heartfelt romance.

There are few hero's that come to close to the big and lovable personality of Bear Whiskey. In Bear Foster creates another strong, sensitive and noble Alpha male. Truman ( Tru Blue
~ My review ) made me feel this way too. But Bear's standout qualities include a tenacity and patience that is simply unparalleled and utterly breathtaking. His virility makes him sexy, but it’s the way he treats Crystal that makes him the hero to adore. His devotion to Crystal absolutely melted me and watching her come around, well therein lies the story.

Crystal has certainly gone through a lot in her young life. She is challenged to just be herself, if only she knew how to get comfortable in her own skin. Her truth is that she experienced some heartbreaking moments in life so she’s motivated by a need to be in control. Issues with trust and intimacy have worn her down so it’s simply glorious to see her let Bear in. What a boon for her, cause if there is one man who can handle Crystal, it's Bear.

“..then you came into my life,” she said swift and soft. “Like a dragon-slaying prince on a mission , scooping up everyone’s broken pieces and putting them back together again. You make me want things I long ago stopped hoping for, or even thinking about,…”

Once their relationship transforms, it's just WOW! There's much humor, witty banter, and references to "bear caves" and "honeypots" that had me giggling like a schoolgirl.

Once again Melissa Foster gave me a perfect read. It’s romantic, angst filled, sexy and funny. As friends to lovers’ stories go, this is one of my favorites. Another 5++ star read from Melissa Foster and one I highly recommend.

OMFG I just had a girly squeal moment (something I rarely do) when I realised who the main characters are. It only took me half a dozen pages so obviously Bear and Crystal made their mark on my little goldfish brain. Ok now I am excited. Tru Blue was one of my absolute favourite books of 2016 and was the start of my addiction to all things Melissa Foster.

So obviously when I picked this up I had absolutely no idea what I was getting. But as I got into this one it all came flooding back and added so much to the story for me. Plus we got a heap of Tru and Gemma and the kids which was awesome. But I have to say you absolutely could read this as a stand alone without missing anything but Tru Blue was amazeballs so why would you?

The book picks up 8 months into the relationship between Bear and Crystal which sounds weird but once you read it you will understand. Bear decided on meeting Crystal that she was the one for him. Unfortunately Crystal was so scared of starting a relationship that she fought him every step of the way despite wanting him as much as he wanted her.

Luckily for me Crystal didn’t really play hard to get or do any of the normal push and pull bullshit that drives me crazy so I really enjoyed watching what basically amounted to some really hot alpha biker boy foreplay. And maybe because it was told in dual POV I completely understood where Crystal was coming from and respected her feelings. Or maybe because she acted like the adult she was and sat down and explained her feelings to Bear.

Bear was just so fucking perfect I wanted to rip him off the pages and keep him. He was all things growly, protective, alpha but damn was he sweet and caring and just truly beautiful. His loyalty to his friends and family made him that much more special. I absolutely loved that he decided Crystal was it for him and he never doubted it.

Obviously they each had a few issues to sort out but they did it together and they were such a perfect couple, I devoured every word. I couldn’t put the book down. The secondary characters were great and I am dying to see who’s story we get next along with some more Tru and Gemma and Bear and Crystal. I can’t wait.

48% through the book and I can take no more. Chrystal has overcome her issues enough for sexual pleasures to only herself and I see her as only a taker in other areas as well. I am sure eventually she will return favour to Bear needs and not in just sex. I usually avoid biker club stories because having lived the truth of said for 8 years, not so much HEA that is portrayed in romance stories. I did like the Bear character and may have enjoyed him as a Viking or Navy Seal more....ha. We all have our fantasies but this story triggered too many reality memories for me.
I felt Melissa Foster wrote well and might check out her other writings but unfortunately this book was not for me.

*4 Stars*

I love this series and these characters. I was definitely keen to read Bear and Crystals story, because of the glimpses of their interactions in Tru Blue.

I enjoyed this book, even if it wasn't my fave of this series. The Whiskey world is a really well created world by Melissa Foster, and it draws you right in, and makes you feel these characters.

Crystal has some demons from her past that we learn about, and once she opens up to Bear, things are much easier for her. Bear is the ultimate teddy bear. What a softie. I would love me one of my own. He's honest and respectable and an all around great guy. As with all the Whiskey heroes in this series.

I did feel that for part of the book not much was really happening, but I guess that can also go hand in hand with the issues they're both dealing with and not being able to rush them.

I loved our glimpses of the other family members and friends, and I can't wait to read more of this series, particularly now that I am nearly caught up.

Ben asıl Dixie'yi merak ediyorum :D :D

I TRULY, MADLY LOVED THIS BOOK!

First off, I love the title of this book. As an Alan Rickman fan, it reminded me of his film Truly, Madly, Deeply. And I truly, madly, deeply loved this book. Yes, Bear is a biker with a beard and tattoos (which I don’t like) but like mountain man Steve/Grizz, I fell for his wonderful heart. You can’t not love the guy.
This was an emotional rollercoaster of a read. We met Bear Whiskey in River of Love, and then again in Tru Blue, where his fascination with Crystal became apparent. For all his flirting – and her denial – there is a definite ‘something’ there, which she tries to deny. But how long can she keep her big, cuddly Bear at bay?
Crystal has a heap of problems to overcome, caused by some anxiety in her past, that no-one knows about. And even though she keeps pushing Bear away, he constantly comes back for more. And Bear also has some issues regarding his future - and choices made in the past - that will affect his family. So there is plenty of angst to work through on both sides, but with Bear’s family, and their mutual friends Gemma and Tru, along with the cute Kennedy and Lincoln, this book will fill your heart with joy.
I’m now wondering about Bones and Bullet, not to mention Dixie. Plus we get to meet up with Jace Stone again, and are introduced to Maddox Silver.
Melissa continues to amaze me with her fabulous writing. This is another brilliant book, with future heroes to wonder about.

Truly Madly Whiskey by Melissa Foster is a stand alone romance novel.
This is Bear and Crystal´s book. A steamy and emotional love story.
There is Crystal Moon who don´t wants a relationship. Her life is complicated with her family as it is.
And there is Bear Whiskey, a bar and auto mechanic shop owner, a tattooed biker.
If you think this is a bit too much, no it works for him.
He´s a really good guy. Loyal, warm and genuine.
Bear wants Crystal. He pushes and she pushes back.
Is there a HEA? Can she pull her head out of the clouds?

Reading Truly Madly Whiskey I wanted to shout at Crystal: girl come to your senses.
Oh and I want my own bear, pretty please.
This book is a fun and sexy read and I give 4,5 Stars.
Thank you Melissa Foster !
