Owned by the Mafia Bad Boy 4 is by far the most dramatic in this serial. That in itself is saying a lot because book 3 reigned as the ultimate adrenaline rush. Book 4 now holds the crown!
Book 4 focuses on the gritty and dysfunctional elements of Kane's childhood, his family life, and Annika's reluctant descent into their black world. She will never be truly free of the life even if Kane "freed" her after the six month contract. She's seen too much, she's physically participated in several altercations breaking several laws. Whether she realizes it or not, she is made for this life. It's in her blood.....I'm guessing literally as well as figuratively.
This story ends on a cliffhanger of all cliffhangers! The good news is book 5 will be out in a few days. It's a good thing too because in between discovering the "rat", the mystery surrounding the identity of Annika's dad, and Kane's psycho parents, I need a friggin drink or two!
This story is graphic and dark. If you are sensitive to certain dark elements such as abuse, PUHLEEZE be on your merry way! Kane's parents give new meaning to the words "physical abuse". For those who are desensitized like yours truly, certain scenes in this serial will definitely feed your need for darkness!

This book was by far my favourite in this series.
Not only does this installment show a deeper darker side to Kane, it also shows a sweeter softer side too. He is definitely a complex character.
This entire series has been amazing & is a must read for all Mafia fans.

Book four has the most passion and suspense of any of the other books and I loved it I couldn't put it down it will definitely keep you on the edge of your sweet wanting to know what happens next. So ready for the next can't wait!

Lions and Tigers and...Not Bears!
This is not a standalone! This is book 4 and I can't wait, I also may have stopped breathing, when this book left me hanging! I thought I loved the last book and I have now changed my mind! This book is amazing and is my favorite book of this series! I have also decided that Raven is the queen of cliffhanger's! Before I go any further, if y have not read the first three books, please stop reading my review, as this will have parts and/or people who are in previous books, and I don't want to spoil anything! Book 3 left off with the cage! Kane had taken Anika to a club where "he," showed up. This led to the a suspenseful cliffhanger that I loved and couldn't wait to see what happens! Well, hot scene! It was also Anika learning really quick how to be a sub and punishment was involved, but hot!!! All while "he" listened and watched. Then there's a just a little accident at a family dinner. No biggie, if you don't mind Kane's fiance being there and a knife may have slipped. Not really slipped, but I'm adding my own internal commentary! I thought my family was messed up?! So who got stabbed by who? Did they survive? More secrets are exposed, but more secrets are coming to readers and characters in return! This author is amazing and I'm dying over here! Emotional rollercoaster ride that just when you think you are slowing down, you go speeding past the line of people waiting in line! The chemistry between Kane and Anika is undeniable, sexy, passionate, and like no other! I want Kane! This book is not just about the hotness! It has mafia written in the title too! If I labeled my review.... lions and tigers and not bears, which animal could it be? You're going to find out! You're gonna find out a lot! However, you'll be looking for answers too! Real fathers? This is number 4 in the series and is definitely not a standalone. My jaw dropped and I may have cursed Raven Dark when she left us hanging at the end of this book. Not at all what I expected. I think that this may be the darkest one in the series so far but well worth it.
Anika is taught by Kane how to act/be a sub/slave and when they go to the BDSM club he is a member of they run into Dominic Gavini and Kane finds out that Gavini now owns the club. Gavini pushes Kane to take Anika into the cage/cell to punish her in public which Kane does. The cage/celli s bugged so that Gavini can hear everything that Kane and Anika say so Kane can't explain what is going to happen and is forced to punish Anika before it can become to intense the fire alarms go off and everyone has to evacuate the club. Kane then has to teach Anika the rules and proper way to eat for when they go to his fathers for family dinner. Anika meets Gala Kane's fiancée. Gala wants Kane to tell Anika the truth but he refuses. During dinner Kanes brother upsets their father and he stabs the brother through the hand Anika comes to the rescue and stiches the wound.
Kane and Anika seem to have things coming at them from all sides, from dead body they have to get rid of, a crazy family dinner, Gavini wanting Anika and her dad dead now and to top it off the kidnapping and torture of an FBI agent. They hope the agent can tell them who the rat in Gavini's organization is. Surprise not going to tell you.
What is next for these two? Will they ever admit their true feelings for each other? Can't wait for the next book and the surprises Raven dark will have for us.

Dark, treacherous, enigmatic, intriguing and sexy. These are the words to describe the next installment of this Bad Boy Mafia series by Raven Dark.
I have to tell you I was on the edge of my seat with this installment. The interaction Kane is having in this book is outstanding. The insight into this world was very interesting and I can’t help but wonder how long Kane can give up the juggling act. This book shows a very dark side to the mafia world where killing, maiming and extortion run rampant.
Anika on the other hand is getting drug in deeper into Kane’s world and is getting to the point of no return. She is delving into this world to help keep her father alive and is willing to do anything to ensure this. We know what she believes to be her life is most likely not true and is again brought up in this installment. ARGH!!!! We are once again left without know the truth.
I love a sexy book with a little Dom/sub action thrown in but this series takes this to a whole new level. The dark and light within Kane keeps the reader wondering what he is really like and which one will dominate Anika.
This is not the last book in this series and with each one we get another piece of the puzzle. I personally can’t wait for the remainder of this series and will need to read them all again when they are released to pick up on any subtle clues I have missed.
If you have not read this series, you are missing out on one of the best series I have read.

How do you write a review on a kick ass book and not leave spoilers? Let me tell you its hard as hell. But we are gonna give it a go!!
This series hooked me in book 1, we are not on book 4 and I'm even more hooked on this series. Kane and Anika do not have it easy and of course it wouldn't be them if it was. Everything is not what it seems and finally in book 4 we get some answers to questions that have been sitting there through out the other books.. BUT THAT ENDING... Jesus Raven you seriously know how to not only write a fantastic book that draws the readers in but you also know how to end it and keep us hooked and wanting the next one.
I still have unanswered questions and I hope and pray that the next book will give me some of them.

It is an outstanding, fast-paced read with plenty of danger, suspense, mystery, secrets, lies, deceit, violence, jealousy, kink, pain, pleasure, lust, passion, heartache, lots of twists and turns, a shocking ending that will leave you gasping for more, and of course, scorching long sex scenes.
From the very first page, Raven Dark sucks you into the story and keeps you captivated, intrigued, and consumed. The questions you have just keep piling up as the story unfolds and you are left hanging on the edge of you seat.

5 big fat stars for this one!! Raven Dark has outdone herself. I loved the other 3 books leading up to this but this one is by far the best! I was totally gripped by the storyline and even slacked off at work as I kept having to sneakily read. Kane and Anika's story gets better and better and even more intense. It is like a cross between 50 Shades and The Godfather, seriously it's brilliant. I am so so happy to find another brilliant author who can write a damn good story in the genre that I like. i don't want to give anything away about the book as it may ruin the plot for anyone who hasn't gotten this fat in the series yet. It leaves on a cliffhanger and OMG I can not wait for the next book. Super super super!!!

It is difficult to write this review without revealing spoilers, but here goes!!
Anika is forced to endure a harsher training regime at the BDSM club, to prove to the Mafia, and Kane’s family that Anika is his slave. There is a lot of action, and twists and turns in this storyline, and bring Gala into the mix, and more secrets are revealed.
I love this series, and it seems to get better and better as it goes on. This is a darker read than the previous books, and ends in a cliffy, leaving me waiting impatiently for #5. Outstanding work Raven, you are keeping me on tenterhooks with these books!!

Raven makes me fall in love more and more with her books, even though she ALWAYS leaves me on the edge of my seat and wanting more ;) Kane and Anika's relationship deepens as does the trouble with Dominic. Also Anika gets introduced to Gala (the cat claws don't come out, but whew what a tense scene). Questions are answered but even more are asked. There is a ton more action in this book that will leave you breathless with anticipation! Raven drew me in and kept me wanting!! A definite 5 star read!!!

WOW!! Best one yet!
With every book Raven Dark gets better and better! Book 4 Owned by the Mafia is the best one yet! Anika has to learn to be a proper slave, her dad's life is in danger, and is Kane falling for Anika? This book is full of sexy scenes, questions that will be answered, and lots of bone shattering violence. I can't wait for the next book!

OMG if you have not read Raven Dark's Own by the Mafia Bad Boy series out are missing out. You have to read this series in order to understand what's going on. You will not be disappointed in this series. Kane and Anika's story is dark and intense.

Back From a Lull
This episode was sadistic...and brought back complexity and tension to what was becoming retread. Anika bounced back into a focused, driven woman after "twitting out" at the beginning. Kane, as usual, is hotness and torture personified; and the secondary characters continue to be riveting and useful to the roller coaster ride.

Holy Hell! I Made It Out Of That Cage!
Okay, my friends, sorry that my review is a bit late but, here she goes...
This 4th instalment has blown my mind! We picked up right where we left off... in a BDSM Club, supposedly training when the man from hell, Dominic Gavini, shows up and professes to be the new owner of the club! He pushes Kane to show him how his new "slave" is working out and "Yikes!"
Kane has put Anika in a position that requires her to train her behaviours so that she puts neither they nor her Father's life at risk. This training goes from a BDSM Club into Kane's parents home where she must show herself to be obedient in all things. Let's just say that dinner with his parents is not boring but in fact Brutal! For most everyone in attendance. Including Kane's wife to be, Gala!
Gala makes a beautiful and strong appearance in this book and I absolutely love her! I know, I know... how can I love her? Anika is our heroine! I believe you will agree with me once all is said and done.
The relationship between Kane and Anika is changing. That said, it is also more contradictory for Anika as we go along. That said, Anika has morphed into a support structure for Kane that I believe he never thought to have, in his life.
Now, if you have been following the series (did I really just ask that?) Then you know there are a few other issues they are trying to deal with. One issue winds up putting them in a Seriously compromising, dangerous and illegal? situation. All I will say about that is it involves an errant FBI Agent. This crazy scene takes us to our cliffhanger, which blew my skirt high enough to see my vocal cords while I was screaming "No!"
There is so much happening in this, my favourite segment so far, that I didn't begin to cover it all! All I can say is "Enjoy!"

When I started this series, I did not realize it was a serial until the end of the first. Boy was I happy to see four availbel on Amazon, I figured four would be the end so I bought them all, but I was wrong and now after further research the author said there may be 7 or 8. Nope I'm done! While the story was good there was much I was not happy with, especially how much of a pushover the heroine was. I was so happy with this book thinking finally some of the questions would be answered but nope and now lord knows, this serial probably won't be finished until next year :( Guess I won't be finishing it.
ON a side note*** Authors can you please make it more blatantly obvious that these are serials and perhaps bundle them when complete. A nice flashing warning on top saying it is incomplete would be nice too!!!

Firstly I'd like to say a massive thank you to the author for letting me review this exciting series.
This 4th book in the series kept me gripped right the way through and each book just keeps getting better and better.
Full of twist and turns this 4th book is my favourite so far, it's exciting, thrilling and full of suspense.
The main female character Anika is getting stronger and stronger in each book and I can't wait to see what Raven has in store for her next.
Kane is still Kane hard sexy and illusive, but I feel Anika is cracking him more and more open.
I can not wait to read book 5 after the cliffhanger that Raven has left us with in book 4.

Kane is still Kane hard sexy and illusive, but I feel Anika is cracking him more and more open.
I can not wait to read book 5 after the cliffhanger that Raven has left us with in book 4.
WELL DONE RAVEN I love reading Kane and Anikas story.

AMAZING READ! This series is so INTENSE! It keeps you on the edge of your seat and turning pages to read what happens next. Raven Dark is weaving quite the twisted tale with this series. This book does end with a cliffhanger that leaves you begging for more. I can't wait to read more of Kane and Anika's story.

Omg !! I couldn't put it down ! I absolutely love Kane and Anika and also how David is there for them both ! I can't believe how it ended and can't wait to read more ! I would definitely recommend this book to everyone !!

This series just keeps getting better and better. The surprises keep coming and she has got me hooked. This is one of the best serials I have read. Anika and Kane are well developed characters in an interesting story line. I cannot wait for the next installment of the series.
