Zoe Delarey has been hiding her entire life.

Have to say the more I read of the Othala Witch Collection - the deeper I find myself lost in the sectors the authors have created.
This one started a bit slow for me - just like a snowball rolling down hill - as the action and intrigue began to gather speed - the more entangled I became in the web that the Story wove.
Really enjoyed Zoe & Bastian and the tension and relationship that evolved.

This book starts with a BANG, something is going on, but you will be put in even more action before something starts to reveal as true, but is it true for sure?
Plot is fast and well described, there was no place where reader can feel lost in this book eventhough it's packed with great action. Events are smooth and not artificial - few of them put chill down my spine.
Characters are well developed - each one get us full fist of emotions so they are so REAL! I really enjoyed getting to know them during this read - it was TOO SHORT!!! I want more. Zoe is a young girl that needs to overcome obstacles that are placed in front of her. As she almost didn't know world outside her house and she had an impressive ability to addapt to circumstances. Bastian is a Normal (a person without magic) and he is a part of the group that fight Regent. He is a man that can melt girl heart for sure ;)
There will be love, running, betrayal (VERY surprisung), alliances and magic. Together with great plot and characters it will give you a great book!

Her father had played God and to evade execution as a traitor he had hidden his creation. Sector Nine wards were coming down, the revenants on the lose killing every living thing in their path. The Regent’s powers weren’t enough to power the wards and witches had to die to keep it going. When Zoe was found by a rebel she become a coveted tool for the different parties fighting for control. Who to trust? Could she sacrifice herself for nine sector’s safety? Alchemy was the beginning of Zoe. The mystery was maintained through most of the story adding to the suspense and the magic. Bastian had awakened new feelings in Zoe and they had bonded no matter what were their circumstances. Both, Zoe and Bastian, were struggling with their emotions and the way they were changing each other. Action, suspense, intrigue, lot of violent fights and some sex scenes so, Zoe could experiment potent human emotions. The descriptions of the runes, the magic spells and ritual were compelling. I was trying to visualize the movements and the positions. Interesting way to caught my attention. Each story that I had read in the Othala Witch Collection had intriguing surprises, action, suspense and good fights against the evil. Pleased to share my opinion of this interesting story that I liked very much.

Zoe Delarey is an alchemical person who was created by her father doing something that is forbidden. This means she has hidden her entire life. Her father is suspected of braking lawa so the sector Regent is coming for him. He immediately puts her into her stasis chamber to keep her hidden and safe.
She is most surprised to have a gorgeous man called Bastian wake her up who wants to take her to a rebel area as a prisoner - however with the Witches Council looking for her she is forced into taking a chance on Bastian as her protector and saviour.
Zoe finds it all very new and strange being in the real world as she has been hidden so had a very sheltered life. She has to learn some very hard lessons if she is going to survive this whole experience and hopefully rescue her father. She also discovers that the Regent is not doing a good job of protecting the sector from the Ravagers and that maybe she can help to save everyone.
A really great book that was very well written and very easy to see and feel everything that was happening.

Zoe wakes up to a stranger, Bastien, with a hidden agenda. She's constantly on the run, trying to save herself from one captor or another. Will Bastion be her greatest ally or worst enemy? Or worse, will she be handed over to the Regent who has more nefarious plans when she learns of Zoe's existence?
This is another excellent addition to the Othala Witch Collection! I love these books and can't wait for the next one to publish! I highly recommend reading all of them. You won't be disappointed. Happy reading!

I can't believe how these wonderful authors created another world, the 16 Sectors of Othala! Each sector is given life by an amazing author with their own brand of genius and creativity!
This particular story was just my second book of the collection, and I have enjoyed what I have read, so far.
Zoe's story is action-packed, from start to finish! It's a constant running and capturing and witchy stuff happening.
What I like about this story is the storyline - it's fast-paced, the action -you'll get a side stitch from all that chasing, and the amazing adrenaline rush!

This is an intriguing read about a young woman who has some unusual abilities. She has been hidden by her father and when she is found, she has to navigate a very difficult path. She has to decide who to trust and learn to control her magic. It really is a great adventure. It is fast-paced and full of surprises

OMG!!! This book was awesome! I have never read a book about witches and warlocks quite like this. We have Zoe, who is a witch (she has a particularity), and Bastian who is a Normal in Sector 9. The romance and the action was spectacular. Kudos to the author!!!

Zoe's father is stolen...he's arrested and she wants to save him.
Bastien rescues her...kidnapes her, and is confused by her.
There's twists and turns, trust, betrayal, loss and love.
Interesting characters, interesting story.
I recommend it.
