In this, the second of The Fellhounds of Thesk, Bridge Reader version, Tally has been kidnapped. Her sister, Lady Elanor has asked teenager Wil Calloway for help but he returns to Saran to discover tensions that threaten Tally's rescue from the start. Accompanied by his three best friends and three huge Fellhounds, Wil makes a promise to bring Tally back before the twin moons cross. But the journey to Armelia is beset with challenges - not least being, getting in and out of the city!
The Bridge Reader version of the original Moon Crossing by Cathy Farr is ideal for young adults who are just moving up to longer reads, or for those who are struggling or reluctant to read longer text. It is the second in the series of bridge Readers and offers a slightly more challenging read than the first, Moon, Chase, to assist improving readers in their journey towards full literacy. There is also a glossary of more challenging words in the back and six illustrations by Alan Marks.
Great book definitely keeps you interested throughout the whole story. Great for people who are starting to read again and need an easier book but recommend reading “moon chase” first
