I was born and raised in the small town of Klamath Falls. It is there that I met my husband and had my first two children. In 1999 we left Klamath Falls, headed towards Portland. I have since had one more child and have settled in Newberg. I worked as a waitress in a French Bistro for nearly five years before quitting to help care for my ill grandmother. It was during my care of her that I decided to go to school for Medical Assisting. I had planned on continuing onto nursing, but landed a job with a Dr. I highly admire in a practice that I love, that has trained me beyond my schooling. In the nearly five years that I have been employed there, I have spent a large amount of time commuting. During those times I would spin many stories in my mind with the intention of writing them down. I have always loved to write, but have ventured away from it due to lack of time and life. The story of Neveah and Lilly stuck with me and I decided to write it down. I never intended for it to go this far, or become a full fledged story that I would be so proud of. I look forward to seeing where this journey leads me!

**** 4 Cranky Stars ****

Jase has it all. A beautiful wife, and wonderful son and life is just perfect. More than he ever dreamed possible.... until it wasn't.

Tragedy strikes and Jase doesn't know how to deal with it all.

A broken washing machine and a trip to the laundromat change everything. Life as he knew it would change again.

This is the first story I've read from this author and I can't wait for the next one. Normally, I'm not a fan of serials but this short story had me running a marathon of emotions. It's definitely worth the read and this Cranky reviewer highly recommends it.

I really enjoyed learning what had happened to Jase and why he is the way he is. This one for me was a little emotional and I did shed a tear or two or dozens. I love how all of these novellas are building this story line. I look forward to the next book in this series. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Widower (Laundromat Chronicles) by Angie Merriam
This series is exceptional and I must be honest and say this one, so far is the best. The raw emotion had me sobbing my eyes out. Ms Merriam you are truly talented. This is Jase’s story, the man that had it all until it was brutally ripped from him. How do you get over, if ever, losing your wife and child? This story starts with Jase meeting his wife and how they had the perfect little family and perfect life. Be warned you will cry and you will feel gutted. Jase feels like he will never come to terms with the passing of his family, but fate steps in and has him meeting Amanda at the Laundromat. Once again supporting characters come into play. This story was fast paced, emotional, hopefully and full of blistering chemistry. I am so looking forward to hearing about Amanda’s life next.

OH MY GOSH - what an addition to the chronicles The Widow is! As we know from earlier novellas, and the title, Jase is a widower. But this story delves deeper into his life before and after he became one.

The author will pull you in and you will feel all of Jase’s emotions from meeting his wife, dealing with becoming a widow, his life afterwards and of course his times with the gang at the laundromat. My emotions were all over the place as I turned the pages. The author will have you smiling, laughing, crying and hopeful for the future as you read along. Just a wonderful addition and I am looking forward to the next installment of The Laundromat Chronicles! I can’t say enough about how wonderful these chronicles are or the excitement they are leading up to for the upcoming full length book called “Life”.

This is the fourth novella in the Laundromat Series. This is the best one yet! Each novella is about a different character. It gives their backstory.

We learned, in the last novella, Baby, that Jase is a widow now.

This is Jase’s story.

We get to see how Britanny and Jase met, and then how Jase lost both Britanny and their son, Daniel.

I was crying some. I can’t imagine losing my kids or husband. What he went through is heart breaking.

We get to see what brought him to the laundromat a year later. And we get to see exactly what is going on with Jase and Amanda.

Amanda’s story is next. I usually don’t like cheaters, but I do like Amanda and feel for her.

Omg.
Jase’s back story gutted me. As you know losing someone is extremely hard but losing his family gutted him.
I was crying pretty much as soon as the book started.
#UGLYCRY for sure!
The author literally had my heart in her hands while I was reading this book!!
Amanda and Jase are not suppose to be but they have to be. In order for him to move on and live and for her to feel again they need each other.!. The gang at the Laundromat is so amazing and I can not to read more about them all ♡

Angie totally has my heart!

The Laundromat Chronicles: Widow

Jase Chapman has lost everything in a blink of an eye, his life is forever changed. While learning to live this new life, fate has a way of butting herself in. With a broken washing machine, the laundromat will change everything for him... life is crazy like that.

I'm loving the short stories and meeting the people we got a glimpse of in the previous novellas, finally knowing their sides. This one ends with a major 'oh man' moment. Wonder what's going up happen?!

Anther great read in this series. I loved hearing Jace's story even though my heart was breaking only a few pages in. But Angie knows how to put it back together and give you a story you do not want to put down.

That ending.. holy crap first i need Amanda's story but I seriously need to know what that was all about at the end of this book... GAH!!

Cant wait to read the next book in this series which is quickly gaining to be one of the top series reads this year :)
