By the age of fourteen, Elizabeth had produced her first full-length novel—alas! never published—and by the age of fifteen her teenage years meant life was so full that all literary ambitions became somewhat overshadowed.
Married in her early twenties, Elizabeth found that the needs of the home became her priority. Despite the ever present nagging little voice in her conscience that constantly reminded her of those unfulfilled writing ambitions, the creativity had stopped.
A few weeks before her thirtieth birthday, Elizabeth was thinking about what she had done with her first thirty years and realised she had been telling herself that she would "start writing tomorrow" for at least twelve of them! She couldn't help wondering, "whatever happened to that dream?" Within two weeks her "tomorrow" would come when fate took a hand in the form of redundancy!
Writing was now Elizabeth's life. After several attempts, the letter that was to change her life arrived from Mills & Boon. They wanted to publish her book. The novels flowed, and they have continued to publish her books ever since.
Living in England's beautiful West Country, she likes nothing better than taking walks with her husband along the coast or in the adjoining woods, and enjoying all that nature has to offer.
Travelling ranks very highly among Elizabeth's pleasures, and so many places she has visited have been recreated in her books.
Of her writing, emotional intensity is paramount. She says, "Times, places and trends change, but emotion is timeless." A powerful storyline with maximum emotion set in a location in which one can really live and breathe whilst the story unfolds is what she strives for.

This was an ok book. It has emotions, steaminess, sweetness, angst, anger, sadness and some aggravation. Great for a quick read or for the lazy days with nothing better to do. I was exasperated by the characters quite a bit. An okay read, but not for my shelf, personally.

This was pretty good, and both the H and h were likeable characters (despite a few flaws), while everyone else, with the exception of the H's mother, sure left a lot to be desired!
The OM was avaricious and unscrupulous, an "end justifies the means' person who cared more about money than he did the h. She was well rid of him!
The H's niece was a rebellious, trouble-making teenager, but she could be excused, considering the parents she had, and she redeems herself later.
The rest are only talked about, never seen, but they still make an impact. The h's cousin, who she hero-worshipped, sure had feet of clay, and was hardly worth anyone risking their life for! The H's brother was weak and lacked a backbone, taking a drastic solution to his troubles without a thought to how it might affect his daughter. The H's sister-in-law was self-centered and irresponsible (as well as a cheater), and she had no qualms about dumping her parental responsibilities onto the H. The h's parents had an "on again off again" marriage and were both on the silly side.
The OW only makes a brief appearance so you can't judge her at all.
As for the H and h, they both start off misunderstanding each other terribly, and each has a tough time overcoming their prejudice, despite evidence to the contrary. It takes time for them to finally get on track (a bit too long, if you ask me), and a lot of things have to be cleared up first, which takes away from time they could have been together as a couple.
Still, it's worth checking out.

Couldn’t get past page 30. She is supposed to be thrilled her fiancé left her at the altar to attend to H’s demands then glad that H offers a combo business/holiday. Ok, that’s the fiancé perspective but h did not dump his selfish self, which is all on her.

I don’t like it.
In the first part of the book the h has sex with her fiancé. She goes under the shower with him and stuff. They have fun in bed.
And in that same holiday she also has sex with the H.
I like the women to be virginal. Or if they can’t be virginal, at least not have sex with different men in the same book.
