About the author

I was born in 1967 and grew up in the small town of Southbridge, Massachusetts. I fell in love with books in fifth grade. Thank you, Miss Budzinski, wherever you are! I've been scribbling down stories ever since, and earned my Creative Writing degree from Southampton College. When not writing, I can be found in my jewelry store, repairing mystical heirlooms and studying the magical properties of gems.

I don't mind suspending belief when reading, especially fantasy books, but the story itself has to make a bit of sense. First of all, you spend a majority of the book not doing what we thought should be happening at the end of the second book. Then! We figure out what's happening (though Illien is an idiot to not recognize Wendy when he sees her) and suddenly he can mess with time and there is no consequence? Too much for me.

I think a good editor could have made this series something fun, but as it is it's mostly just frustrating.
