I bought this book for a dear friend who does love unicorns so before handing it over I thought I would have a read to see what I was missing about this legendary creature.
The introduction probably sums me up as it says, 'You probably know some people who don't believe our sparkly friends exist ...', yes, well I am one of those! But I was prepared to be told, 'Don't listen to them! Instead, take a magical trip through the pages of this book and enjoy living in the cute yet kick-ass world of unicorns, where every journey ends with a rainbow and every dream just might come true!' Sounds interesting!
I definitely can't subscribe to the opening comment, 'I want to be a unicorn', no, thank you! Although 'Keep calm and be a unicorn' does have some appeal, certainly the first part of the comment!
Unicorns can apparently take selfies, are someone who 'knows they're magical and isn't afraid to show it' - nothing wrong in that - and who can be persuasive as 'My unicorn made me do it' demonstrates; the unicorn is sat atop a huge mess that he/she (I presume there are male and female unicorns) has made. And I'm not too sure what 'Unleash your inner unicorn' means as the unicorn is there unzipping an outer garment to reveal a beating pink heart - with a rainbow in the background. And there are plenty of rainbows in this extremely colourful book.
It was an experience to read it but I am afraid I am probably still in the category that I began with, a non-believer!

I was given this as a present from a dear friend as I am actually part unicorn. Everything in it is pure unicorn. Couldn't wish for a better book to spread the word about the joy of being a unicorn. Loved every page. Xx

Oh guys, this is one of the most gorgeous, sweet and lovely books ever! I am in love with anything Unicorns at the moment, and the same is with my daughter, she can watch "Mia and Me" on repeat and there are unicorns, so when she's seen this book when it arrived she was SO. INCREDIBLY. HAPPY. She immediately opened the book and started to lookthrough it and for a moment (a moment. But it is VERY important because there are not many moments like this with Sophie) she was speechless. she looked at the colourful, beautiful pages with open mouth and shining eyes and I could immediately tell she was in love. Then she started to call the unicorn in the book Willie (don't ask me, no idea why) and we read this book every day now.
Which is not a problem, as it is a cute, gorgeous and so optimistic book! It is full of brilliant quotes and my favourite ones are probably "I poop rainbows" and "Unleash your inner Unicorn", though they are all brilliant, funny and catchy one - liners. The large letters are easy for children who learn to read and the colourful pictures are warm, funny and totally sweet. The book is also very esthetically published and only holding it in your hands makes me feel better. This is a must - read for all Unicorns (and not only) fans! I'm sure you can buy it as birthday present for any girl!

This is such a beautiful hardback book. Its a cute little size, ideal for your handbag. The cover is stunning and bright, this would attract anyone of any age. I am in love with anything Unicorn at the minute and was like a child at Christmas when it arrived. The pages are thick and easy to handle. The large style writing made it easy to read and follow. Full of lovely quotes and sayings, with such beautiful colours and pictures this is a must for any Unicorn fan.

Who doesn't love unicorns? Take a look at that cover and then tell me its not worth buying this book. Its pretty much just full of pictures of unicorns with cute sayings. Will take you a matter of minutes to read.
BUT, its unicorns and its wonderful. The pictures are rainbow and adorable, the writing equally amusing and go well with the pictures. It's a light hearted book that just screams at you to pick up and buy because its unicorns and if you dont' you are wrong.
