Has Oedipus the King, a few years back essential to psychiatry, but eclipsed now with the fall of Freud. Do boys really want to kill their fathers and sleep with their mothers?

Also has Medea, and not the one of movie fame, but the one important to the feminist movement, or was. Kind of hard to know what importance Medea now has.

Then there is the Frogs, fragmental I think. Aristophanes had a deliciously dirty and funny twist of mind. Too bad we don't have him in his all-together including the missing works.

Were these saved by the Arabs during our time of mutual savagery? Can't see a German scribe wasting vellum and gall to keep these around. Help me here.
