Not a horrible book, but this adaption leaves a lot out & changes things to not match the movie very well- also skips parts so the book as a whole doesn't make complete sense (how the toy store owner knew Kevin saved the day & some other things).
Definitely decent for a kid starting to read books with more than 1 or two sentences a page though, and I didn't notice any typos (usually they jump out at me but I didn't notice any if there are any).
