I shouldn’t have wanted two men in my bed.

Except I did want them.

I wanted them so bad I couldn’t keep my head straight.

It started as lust, simple as that. No strings… just two guys, a girl and a whole lotta sex.

And now we’re all set to become FOUR.

It should be the best time of my life, of our lives; trying for a baby with the two hot men who keep me warm at night.

But life in love doesn’t follow the rules, and soon four doesn’t look like the three-plus-one I intended it to be.

***

Lauren is happy living with the two men she loves and life couldn’t be any sweeter. What started as just a little fun has become a deep three-way love she hopes will last forever.

They want to be a four – Lauren, Max, Steve and their unborn baby – that’s what they said, that’s what they planned.

But when Steve’s friend James arrives from London, an over-the-top-theatrical scene player with his own agenda, and a whole lotta history just waiting to reignite, Steve suddenly doesn’t seem like the guy they fell in love with.

He’s changing, morphing into a different man before their eyes.

***

FOUR is the sequel THREE, but the latter doesn’t end in a cliffhanger so you don’t need to read the first book unless you want to. Like its predecessor, FOUR contains vivid erotica. MF, MM, MMF, MFM and MFMM guaranteed. .

Oh God! What? How? I am so hurt. How did this happen?

I curled up into a ball as soon as I finished the book. A week after reading this, I am still in denial. This book had so many raw emotions. I was praying and hoping that it would not end the way I knew it will. But we don't all get what we want. I loved the story but the ending was a little bittersweet for me. ~Sonal

Max, Lauren and Steve are back and just as hot as they were in Three. Four picks up right where Three left off. Our trio have been living the dream in their passionate and unconventional relationship. They are deeply in love and making plans for the future, which include trying for a baby. Things could not be more perfect, but as we all know, life and love rarely go exactly as planned. Enter, James, an old friend of Steve. He's in town and he comes with an agenda that could tear the lovers apart. Soon, the Steve they know and love changes into someone almost unrecognizable. Can their love and passion keep their relationship strong or are some things destined to not last?

Where Three was all about explosive sex and intense passion, Four is more about the emotional impact one faces in a relationship and when faced with people's past. Don't get me wrong, there is certainly plenty hot and sexy bdsm in this book, but it was so much more emotional. Three had a lighter feel to it and this one was much deeper and emotional. In fact a few sections had me a bit of a basketcase. My heart absolutely broke for the characters. I'm being especially vague because there were some twists in this book I don't want to spoil. I will say suggest that you have tissues handy! I also will say that I loved this book even more than its predecessor. The only reason I took off a half star was because I really wanted to get inside Steve's head. We get dual povs from Max and Lauren and I really was wishing it was three povs. While this is billed and in theory could be read as a standalone, I strongly encourage you to read Three first for the full impact (and emotional turmoil) of this story.

WOW! I started this book thinking there is no way they could pull off Four. but the way S.C Daiko took this book was outstanding. Have the tissues ready you will need lots. Even with the deep and touching story line the sex was phenomenal.

Four: A Menage Erotic Romance is the conclusion to Max, Steve, and Lauren's story.

This book picks up right where Three, the first book in this series, left off. Max, Steve, and Lauren have moved past all of their reservations and have embraced their unconventional relationship. After all, love is love. When these three people come together, they each bring something special to their relationship. Their lives have finally settled down, and they are just enjoying the bliss their lives together has created. Unfortunately, life is unpredictable. One minute you are standing on the peak of mountain top with the world at your feet, and the next minute, you find yourself in a deep, dark valley overcome with crushing despair. That is just the cycle of life.

Man oh man, I loved this book. Don't get me wrong, I loved Three, but this one just brought out all the "feels". While reading about these characters, you will laugh and cry while hanging onto to hope and searching for that silver lining we are always told to look for in the toughest of times. The sex scenes in this book are downright scorching, but this book is so much more than just sex. The love that that these three characters share is beautiful and honest. Because of this, you will connect with these characters on a much more intimate level. Their joy will be your joy, and their heartaches will be your heartaches. Sensational read that you won't want to miss out on! Great job, S.C. Daiko!!

How Three became Four... and a half

I loved this book! S. C. Daiko took us on an emotional roller-coaster ride, pulling our heart strings every which way. I wish there was more to come and will miss the menage plus 1.

Excellent plot and storline. I definitely would recommend the series starting with Three and then Four.

I voluntarily received this author copy for Review.

Have I ever said how much I hate crying while reading a book. Well I do but, I also know that it really shows when a book is good because a person is so caught up with the story being told when the author can bring out those emotions. I can’t tell you what happens but, don’t forget to bring your Kleenex when you read “Four”. Because I cried big sloppy tears.

I know that S. C. Daiko says that “Four” can be read as a standalone and I can see how it can. Why would you want to? Since both books are out now and this is the conclusion. I say buy both books and read them. There is a lot of history that you would miss if you only read one of these books.

I really enjoyed reading this book even through the tears. This is a continuation of Max Conti’s, Steve Green’s and Lauren Price’s story. The ending was great, just the way it had to be.

***
Although a sequel to “Three”, S. C. Daiko’s first Erotic Menage Romance, “Four” is a standalone story and, like its predecessor, contains vivid erotica and scenes involving MF, MFM, MMF, MM and some BDSM. All consensual, but most definitely 18+ only.

If you don’t like anything in the note above I would suggest not reading this book. But, if you are okay with any of the note I think you are going to love this book.

I received a complimentary copy of “Four” for an honest review and I give it. 4.5 STARS

Max, Lauren and Steve are back in this sequel to “Three” and what an emotional roller coaster this story takes us, the reader on. The story picks up where Three left off at; Our trio was living their lives and were very happy in the life they wanted to have. The dream was being lived and the passions were hot and heavy. Yes, the relationship was unconventional but the love was there and they were all happy. Now they were trying for a baby to make everything complete. But things were about to go sideways- Now in the picture is James- an old friend of Steve who has come into town. At first , everything is ok but James has seemed to come for other reasons which are hidden and do not seem like they are good intentions.
Its hard to explain this story without giving the plot away but oh man, the sex is hot, and the emotions are up and down—there is angst, there is anger, there is jealously, there is white hot chemistry, there is pain, true pain and there is love, true love. There is POV told the most by Max and Lauren's although I wish Steve’s had been shown. Oh this story will tear your heart to pieces. I was crying my eyes out . I will say you will love this story and you will feel many emotions when reading this story. If you haven’t read three, I would recommend reading it first. Overall, this is a compelling story that will have you thinking and feeling. Max, Steve and Lauren's story will grab your heart and touch your soul. Kudos to the author for the way she wrote this story. I do hope we will get a follow up story for the way the book ended, I would have liked more of an epilogue on two of the main characters and their lives and how they are doing.

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

I have no idea how to explain the emotions I am feeling right now. S.C Daiko really created a real world for us where existed three wonderful characters called Max, Lauren and Steve! Their love for each other is so brilliant. You will feel it from their touch and they love making scenes! OMG! Scorching HOT! I definitely loved the first book but this one was more intense, more emotional and you will connect with the characters in more deeper level. Hold you heart, grab your tissues and get ready for Four because I know it will make you cry, laugh, live and LOVE! There is a new addition to their story who is Steve's friend and I am sure you are going to love him! Brilliant, breathtaking and best book!!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

It's been a year since Max, Steve, and Lauren overcame their commitment freeman chased away demons. Now they are all set to become four. It should be he happiest time of their life. Trying for a baby with two hot men who love Lauren more than life. Chats however is on the horizon with the arrival of Steve's friend James from London. James with his own agenda and a whole lot of history. Steve is suddenly changing into someone Max and Lauren don't know. He morphing into a different man before their very eyes.

Four is the sequel to Three. They are both written as standalone's. I however loved Three and hope you will give it a try to get the full experience of how Lauren Max and Steve become a couple.

I fell so in love with each of these characters in Three. Max, Lauren, and Steve have overcome the odds and are in an amazingly loving relationship. Their rest to expand their relationship by adding a baby. Becoming Four. But things are about to change when James comes to visit and Steve starts acting like a totally different person. This book shattered my heart. It broke it into a million pieces but S.C. Daikon will put it back together again. Filled with love, passion, drama and tragedy Four is a must read.

I am an emotional wreck right now. S.C. Daiko took my heart and ripped it right out of my chest.
I don't want to give out any spoilers so I am going to keep my review to minimum.

The sex was hot and a lot of it, but Four is so much more than just a hot sexy melt your panties erotic story to read. Max, Steve and Lauren's story will touch your heart. The story alternates from Max and Lauren's point of view. I do wish however we would of had some from Steve's point of view. But overall this was great read and would highly recommend reading.

If you haven't read Three I would recommend reading it before diving into Four.

Wow.. What can I say about this book? When I started this book I was not aware of a previous book, Three. After reading that book (which I would recommend) I was ready. I loved the characters! The connection and love between the characters. At one point I was jealous. As the story continued my heart started to break. I DID NOT want to continue reading but I could not stop. Oh how my heart broke! By the time I got to the end of the book my heart started to heal but there are cracks left from this book. I would recommend this series to those that enjoy manage and BDSM. It took me a day to write this review and I hope it did the book some justice. This was the first time I read a book from this author and I am looking forward to reading more.

I was not expecting this book to give me any sort of emotion. I went in thinking this was going to be a whole bunch of smut. While the sexy fun times are there. This story also had so much heart to it these characters face not only a growing love but they also experience the most heart breaking aspect of death and by the end of this book your in tears.

It's raw and real. Which is saying so much. It's rare for a ménage story to hit your heart and this one does just that.

Book two picks up a year later and we’re brought back into the lives of Max, Lauren and Steve. These three are finally starting to get over their commitment issues and trudging on in their relationship together. That is until Steve’s friend, James shows up in town and throws a wrench into their whole life!

This book is packed full of heat, but it has so much heart and soul in it. You get a more indepth look at these characters relationship and who they really are! I loved Three, but I will say I fell head over heels for Four! S.C. Daiko, definitely knows what she’s doing!

I really loved getting to see more of Max, Lauren and Steve. They were amazing in Three, and they were even better in this book. This book is intense, in the best way possible. You'll fall even more in love with these characters and maybe a few surprises along the way. This is a book you have to experience. You have to experience the heartbreak, that happiness, the joy and the complete devastation that this author wrote into this novel

I love all the kink, and BDSM that this author incorporates into these books. She brings a fresh take, and takes you into theses characters lives. The heat only adds to the plot. The plot is the forefront but the steam, it adds something to the books that really works.

Lauren is an amazing woman. Steve is such a sweet guy and you will love him so darn much. and then Max, oh man he is a yummy yummy Dom. The passion that these three have will steam up your kindle and make you look around to make sure you didn't make a noise

The plot was them moving forward and accepting things, good and bad. It was raw and emotional, your invested in these characters and I can tell you I cried, I was worried, I found that it added something to these three characters and their relationship. They face things and obstacles but they do it together. They stay strong even when it's hard and I will tell you that it's so hard!!!!!!

I really enjoyed Three, but this book, this book takes the cake. The author is more confident in her writing of these characters and she does an amazing job at conveying what she wants us as the readers to feels. I am so scared that I will give things away so I'll stop now. 5 Stars #2OCCJD

It is hard for me to write a review without providing spoilers, but here it goes.
I love Three, the book before this one. The same characters are in this book with a few new ones. I didn't like the storyline, but that is because I have personal issues with that situation; it was very hard for me to read. Expect to cry a lot. It was written well.

I have just finished reading Four and I’m gutted it’s finished – I feel bereft now! The wonderful Max, Lauren and Steve’s lives have continued to keep me engrossed, and as I turned each page, I felt that I was peeping in on them – it really did feel that real. An additional character was cleverly introduced which initially I was sceptical of, but his appeal sort of crept up on me and eventually enriched the storyline. The characters have grown and developed beautifully as significant challenges are thrown at them which they have had to overcome. The unity between the lovers has tugged at my heart strings, and while I don’t want to give away any spoilers, suffice to say all the characters will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions and you will be rooting for each one of them. The sex as is extremely hot and very graphic which is an integral part of who the characters are, and the skill of the author is the way she has cleverly used the explicit sex to balance the plot. An definite must read - it's brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

Four is a book that will make you laugh, cry and fall in love. With each passing page you will taken on an emotional journey as the lives of Max, Steve, and Lauren are forever changed.

I wasn't prepared for the wave of emotions that I experienced within the pages, while completely falling in love with Max, Steve and Lauren.

I felt for Steve and his situation, but his love for Max and Lauren and their well being is overwhelming. He was in am impossible position, but his concern was for the ones he loves, how can you not love that. He may be the laid back one, but he's got a heart of gold.

Lauren will do anything for the men she loves, I love how protective she is. Her ability to weigh each option out before making a decision is something the men appreciate her for, she's the reasonable one. But when push comes to shove, she is a mama bear that will take care of those she loves.

Max is the alpha male of the bunch, always taking the lead, but even he knows when to take a step back. He provides for his family and will always put them first. I love how he takes into consideration Lauren's and Steven's feelings before making a decision. He may have been scared at first of his feelings for both Lauren and Steve, but in the end I am over comes by the abundance of love in his heart.

This book was a enchanting, stimulating, and loving book that I couldn't put down. I love these three individuals, their love, and the connection they share. I highly recommend this book for fans of Three, you will appreciate how their story ends.

It's over. I'm sad but I'm glad. I NEVER expected such an emotional read. After falling head over heels for Max, Steve and Lauren in Three I had no idea what would happen in their attempt to become four, but I didn't expect what I got.
While Three was the story of how they came to be, how they worked out their relationship and the rest of the world could just deal it was easy to read.
Four was not.
Four left me balling numerous times, it ripped my heart out and made me put the book down and walk away. Everything was a blur, I could not read for the tears in my eyes and the hurt in my heart, the need to scream at the author and ask her why was strong. S.C. Daiko I may have cursed you so I apologize (err maybe not I mean you did destroy me) even though you gave me a light at the end of the tunnel I'm still not over this one. I can't be okay with what happened yet, I just wasn't ready to say goodbye and certainly not in that manner.

Three was a great book but Four, Four crossed every possible emotion, drug me deep into a pit of despair and then showed me the light.
Not that I'm unhappy with what that light brought to the story, it's what was lost that I can't get over. I'm so not okay with this, it's been days since I finished reading and I'm still heartbroken.
Just when I thought I couldn't cry another tear I would start full on ugly crying. Thank you for making me a puffy, red faced crybaby infront of my kids!!

Aftee reading Three the first book in this series, I waited impatiently to see how this book would conclude.

S.C Daiko liked to test our emotional factor on this one, throwing in something I didnt expect and made me yell at my kindle.

Though the relationship between Max, Lauren and Steve isnt the most conventional it's what worked for them. Seeing there relationship grow and try for that family, the love and admiration they had for Lauren was sweet.

The relationship between Max and Steve I didn't feel the connection between them, that could have been Steves mannerism and they way he referred to Max as 'mate'. There wasnt any endearment and was like a friends with benefits kind of relationship. I did feel the same in book one, was just hoping that would evolve in book two.

The love and endearment they felt for Lauren was sweet and you could feel that love on paper.

That beng said, S.C Daiko has given us a good enjoyable book.

When i first thought about Four i wondered if i would like this read as much as i liked Three, thinking is it going to go to far and feel unreal. But i have to tell you this read for me was even better and nothing what i expected and believe me when i say you will tissues!! We still get a very Erotic Sexy read but with a deeper and emotional story throughout.
This story really touched my heart i felt connected to them not in the same way as the love triangle so you can loose that dirty thought ;-) but when you read this book you will understand and i think so many will feel the same connection.
Now i'm not going to go into detail as i will give so much away but what i will say is that Four isn't just A Menage Erotic Romance, its a beautiful story of how life is beautiful and tragic all at the same time.

"Whatever will be, will be, is my new motto; part of living beautifully is accepting the rough with the smooth in life and doing the best that you can."

I will honestly say at the end of this read my heart ached but also soared although there is heartbreak we do get a happily ever after. Because life will always go on and i'm finding that out for myself.
S.C. Daiko its been a pleasure to read and review Four.

Welcome back Lauren, Max and Steve and Hello James....
So are threesome has been living their HEA and things have been going great so they decide to add something into the mix a baby (so happy about that) snd Steve decides to add something else into their lives a person from his past James. Steve and James have a history together and at one time they did indeed want each other. Lauren and Max really don't want James around, I guess they can sense the feelings that were once there and they don't want their threesome split up. Some parts of the book totally broke my heart, there was slight warning of what was going to happen and I totally blocked it out - I just didn't want to believe it. James eventually becomes a major part of their lives in a good way and someday I hope to read his story.
totally loved the book it was amazing.

OMG this book!!! It completely slayed me, shattered me and put me all together. Not many books can make me feel so connected to the characters to the point that I will actually break down and bawl my eyes out but this one did just that. My heart was in my throat at times, my nerves were shot, I was happy, sad, mad, you name it I think I pretty much felt it while reading this book. I read the first one and although you don't need to, I really think it helps you enjoy this book even more because you get to see how they came together and the struggles they went through.

I have never read a book by S.C. Daiko and I can honestly say that I will be keeping my eye out for more. She managed to get me so completely engrossed in this book that it took a lot in order to get me out of my book hangover after reading this book. My hat off to you and a huge round of applause on this amazing story.

What can I say other than bloody brilliant, I wondered how the storyline would continue after three but it was so good and just flowed!
I would recommend that you read 'Three' first so that you fully understand the relationship between Max, Steve and Lauren and how they become three.
They have fallen so deeply in love with each other and are desperate to start a family, unfortunately happiness and sadness hit the three of them at around the same time and at this point I couldn't see the words on my kindle, as much as I loved the story it totally broke my heart! I recommend you have a couple of boxes of tissues with you while you read this book.
It sexy, hot and tragic but you'll love it!

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. My review is 3.5 stars.

Four is the conclusion to Three and follows the same themes as the previous novel. It follows Max, Lauren and Steve's unconventional relationship as they look to take it to the next level- a baby!

Four is much the same as Three. Lots of sex and humor but much like Three, it failed to excite me. Don't get me wrong, it is a real tear jerker, so make sure you have lots of tissues, but the whole story is just too nice and the dialogue was off in places, I just couldn't put my finger on why.

If you read Three, you are going to want to read this one as it's a decent conclusion to this story.

Max, Lauren and Steve are back from Three. Even though this book could be read as a standalone, I think you really need to read Three before this one. I was wondering how three was going to become four, and I did not even come close. It is a story of raw, true love between the three of them. This book shows outstanding writing by S. C. Daiko. She did an awesome job with this book. But.....you are going to need a box of tissues, and do not plan to read this in public. If you do, people are going to look at you funny when you start sobbing. It is that real. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review, and even though I am completely drained after finishing it, I do highly recommend it. Outstanding job, Ms. Daiko!
