Evie Wyld's short story Behind the Mountain lacks a lot of elements of a short story and left me wanting...There was so much potential though! *sighs heavily in disappointment*

I enjoyed the link to Jane Eyre, but buzzard as always. I almost want more?

Behind the Mountain by Evie Wyld

Clever and intriguing. Trapped in a loveless marriage far away from home, vulnerable to her husband's judgmental colleagues. Old Annie quite a character. ***
