Alexander Lydiate was born in Dorset, England in 1976.

He read English and Theatre at Goldsmith's College before pursuing music and later a career in software engineering, in which he worked across many fields including artificial intelligence and machine control.

Alex lives in Bath with his wife and two daughters.
