Devil in a Suit #3

Devil In A Suit

He was never supposed to see it.

The email I wrote my friend.

The one where I called him cruel, cold, demanding. Oh, yeah, and sexy as hell.

But instead of sending it to my friend, I sent it to him.

My boss.

Jared King, billionaire head of King Advertising. The man everyone calls The King because he’s so controlling, gorgeous, and full of himself.

I answer his phones, and he barely looks at me, except for one word--“Messages?”-- as he holds his hand out, his Rolex glinting under the light as he demands what’s his.

The employees all whisper about how bad they want him, and his face is on a different magazine each week, always with a different socialite or actress on his arm.

I’m sure he’ll fire me when he reads the email I accidentally sent him. Jared King is not known for his forgiving nature. In fact, it’s just the opposite.

But to my surprise, he gives me one more chance. The only catch? I have to do everything he says.

Soon his tasks are becoming less work-related and more… sex-related. He’s making me take pictures of myself in lingerie, asking me to accompany him to fancy restaurants, making me get down on my knees and…

He knows how to play my body and mind, how to keep me wanting and begging for more of him. But soon I’m starting to worry that my second chance is turning into my worst nightmare.

Because the only thing more torturous than being Jared King’s assistant? Is falling in love with him…

I read all 3 of these books in just over an hour- there really was no need to split them into 3 apart from to drain every penny possible from the reader- bad form!! Especially at the price being charged if you buy outside of KU

And as I said in my review for book 1- Had I not been reading these on KU I would not have continued with the series.

But I did- as I was killing time.....Book 1 wasn't too bad, book 2 was worse, book 3 dreadful!

Insta-love gone wrong- neither MC's had any redeeming qualities....

I actually read the worlds worse description of the female anatomy- Thanks Ms Carter- Sopping mound? Seriously? That was just fucking disgusting.....

And the worst part was book 3 finished at 7%.....yes!! 7 fucking percent!!!!

Fair enough- highlight an author friend with a little teaser at the back of your book- but don't make your own book finish at 8% and put someone else's whole book in there!! If I wanted to read your friends book I would have bought it!

This is for the 3 books if you can call them that... they could easily been made 1 and it would have been enough. 3 books take less than an hour to read.
Really short story. No depth to it. It was an easy read and it lacked of any profound emotion. I just didn't feel it. Would not read it again.

Boss falls for his assistant after she sends him an email that was supposed to be addressed to her friend. Of course almighty falls for the girl who insults him. Then he gets all handy with the virgin (cliche right?) and afterwards ditched her and send her packing to another position at work... sounds like sexual harassment to me...
but hey you can fall for who ever you wish even pricks like this, right?
Anyway hero is an ass but its ok because he doesn't know how to be better... he had a rough childhood his mom die of cancer... yeah that justify all. (I'm being ironic in case you missed it)

Ok not the worst i've read nor the best... it was ok. Maybe i little more exploration of the male character would have made him more likable.

Good story but damn I was disappointed I tought this was a longer book but it seems it was as short as the other 2. You receive 5 books from another writer in this story.
Maybe if you made this one book and it wasn't rushed to the end it would be better.

SINFULLY SEXY !!!
Title: Devil In A Suit
Designation: Conclusion and Book Three of Three, Serialized Steamy Contemporary Romance, Not A Standalone, NO Cliffhanger, Not Full-Length(Approximately 55 pages)
Author: Ivy Carter
Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited
My Rating: Four Sinfully Sexy Stars
***I'd like to preface this review by stating this is the third and final installment of Devil In a Suit. Although the details for this book state it is 579 pages, the Devil In A Suit final installment makes up only 50 to 60 of those pages. The balance of the book is bonus content which includes the first five books of Kelly Favor's For His Pleasure Serial.

Wow! This is my first time reading Ivy Carter but it certainly won't be my last. I'm a huge Hannah Ford fan and this book was included as a bonus in one of Hannah Ford's recent releases, so I decided to give it a whirl and so glad I did. I'd like to preface my review by saying, Devil In A Suite is not a standalone; it's a serial made up of three separate books. As soon as I finished Book One, I raced back to Amazon and discovered Books Two and Three had already been released and are currently available under the Kindle Unlimited Program. Jackpot! Apparently, Devil In A Suit is Carter's first release and I must admit, I'm quite impressed with her work. Her talent is obvious, her style is mesmerizing, her skill is impressive, and her prose is absolutely mesmerizing. I found the story to be fast-paced, exciting, sensual, sexy, and well-crafted. There were a few minor boo-boos but nothing that distracted me from the story. The narrative is beautifully written with a singular first-person perspective from the female protagonist. The dialogue is smart, seductive, well executed and flowed effortlessly. But without a doubt, my favorite component of this story is the engaging cast of characters. I was immediately captivated by the two protagonists, handsome ruthless billionaire advertising mogul Jared King, and beautiful struggling new employee and still very much a naive virgin, Quinn Carson. Their attraction was undeniable, their sexual chemistry was off the charts, and their interaction and banter were quite entertaining. In Book One, the reader only receives a small peek into the possibilities for these characters and the direction of the storyline so I will reserve further judgment until I can read more. In Book Two, the author continues the riveting fast pace of the story as we see the relationship heat up between Quinn and her boss, Jared King. And one thing's for sure, Quinn may be innocent and naive but she has quite a temper and refuses to be anyone's doormat...especially Jared King's! Get ready for the fireworks! In Book Three, the story resumes with the same fast pace but things between Quinn and Jared have progressed from sensual to steamy. It seems Quinn's determination to not allow Jared King to run roughshod over her feelings has finally paid off and maybe, just maybe, the brilliant Jared King will finally realize there could be so much more to life than stubborn independence...and it could include the sassy Quinn Carson. So darn sweet! I loved Quinn and Jared!

Quinn Carson finally landed her dream job...kinda. After graduating from college at the top of her class, it was quite easy to secure a job as a copywriter at King Advertising, even if she hasn't technically written any copy...yet. Unfortunately, she's just another unimportant, nameless face at the bottom of the ladder posing as a junior copywriter with a lunchtime fill-in position as Jared King's personal assistant. In other words, she's just a little fish in a great big ocean filled with countless other little fish trying to survive among some terrifying sharks. Jared King is the biggest shark of all and he doesn't even know she exists....until she mistakenly sends an email to him rather than her best friend who happens to have the same initials. And let's just say, the email in which she regaled her boss' many shortcomings was less than complimentary. Apparently, Jared King does know she exists and is determined to demand his pound of flesh for her snafu... in the form of sexy lingerie and a dinner date. Oh my! But why in the world would someone like Jared King, who could have any beautiful woman in the world, want to take her to dinner? And what's a twenty-two-year-old naive, inexperienced virgin to do when coerced into a date with a ruthless, handsome, sexy devil in a suit who also happens to be her boss??? We'll see!

Did I like this book? Yes, I liked it a lot! As I said, there were a few minor boo-boos but nothing that distracted me from the story. Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain some steamy, dreamy romance! Will I read this author again? Absolutely! I can hardly wait to get the next book in my hot little hands! Was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my seat, white knuckling my reader with my heart fluttering wildly in my chest! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

****Warning....This is the third and final installment of a serialized steamy contemporary romance and does not end in a cliffhanger. And thank heavens, Quinn and Jared get their happy ending! Sigh...just so darn dreamy!

Good read

This is a interesting and very fast pace, I could not put it down. Characters are believable and intense. I would read the books again. I would have like if all five books was one than being separate books. And the development of the story continues.

it was an okay read for a kindle unlimited book. All three parts are very short, it took me about 20 minutes to read each part.

The whole thing was so cute but I just felt like the entire series was a bit short. It could have used some more charter development

Cute fast sexy

I needed a break from dark and this was the perfect choice. I actually found this to be more in depth and better than I thought it would be.

No to bonus

This rating is only for the main book. I didn't want to rate down a book that I enjoyed even though it only took up 8% of the file given that it is the book that I wanted to read. The bonus series is some bs that I had to force myself to try to read, and it ended up being a dnf.

This is a three part novella series by Ivy Carter. Quinn has an entry level job at King Advertising, one of the most successful advertising firms in the country. Everyday for one hour while his PA is at lunch she must answer all Jared King's calls, the stone face owner of the company. He barely looks at her or even acknowledges her except to say "messages" while sticking his hand out. Jared King is retired from the Navy and is now running his own hugely successful company. He's very closed off ever since his Mother died when he was a little boy, never forming attachments with anyone. Quinn makes a mistake and Jared screams at her, she's furious so she sends her BFF, Janet an email about how cold, cruel, demanding and sexy Jared is. Instead of going to Janet the email goes to Jared and she expects him to fire her but he asks her out to dinner and she accepts.

First book

The first book was awsome the second book the 1 through 5 his pleasure I was not happy with it didn't even make it through the first book before I jumped to the end to the rating part and now writing my review. I love books like the first set but the second set I just couldn't really get into how he was leaving her hanging I know he is a busy boss man to blow her off like he was in the beginning didn't know if it would change going forward into the book. Maybe but don't feel enough into it to find out if so I understand he is busy but he don't need to treat her like a child and play head games with her like he is.

First off this book is NOT 579 pages so don't be afraid. My copy had a whole series of books at the end by Kelly Favor. Something like a 15 book series. The third book itself is more like 50 pages.
I guess my main problem with this series was the title itself. Ok first off the dude wasnt a devil in a suit he was just...idk an emotionally distant slight pain in the ass. There was some chemistry between the two? But the books were so short there wasn't a lot of time to develop anything between them short of maybe a sexual attraction. I didn't hate this book? But after reading all three I can say that there was nothing horribly unique or original about it and I don't think I will be reading them again.

talk about disappointing. book 3 took a different turn than the first 2. books 1 and 2 had a nice build up to the climax then BAM! book 3 comes out under false pretences without mentioning that it ends and the next 92% of the book is a full set of another's author's series. it was a total disaster of an ending. it's the little things in stories that make it worthwhile. telling us in book that she comes ti work at 7:30 instead of her normal time of 8 am. then switching it to her coming in at 8am instead of 9am and all of a sudden her boss makes snide remarks about her schedule makes no sense especially when according to the author in book 2 she didn't leave work until he did working 12 hour days. for me it felt like I was reading about two different people with the same names.

great read, must read, short & sweet. wow, was that a short book, read through Kindle Unlimited. Read it in less than an hour? i wonder now after reading all 3 books why it was split up like it is? i was thinking if i had to pay for these books i might not, not saying they are not great reads, just not sure why they were in 3 different books? hope that makes sense. Not a bad ending!

The final book in this trio of books was good but not the best of the three. Book 3 was about Jared and Quinn finding their HEA and realizing that their home life's were much different than either imagined. Book 2 was definitely the hottest with book 3 being the most touching! Satisfying epilogue also.

Another well written few chapters, but I find it hard pressed to call this a book. I enjoyed Jared and Quinn's story, however I think it could have been one decent length book, instead of three short stories.

I liked the previous books but did not understand why it had to be broken down to 3 books. Just my thought. This one fell short and too rushed. Kinda ruined the previous 2 with the ending's execution.

The main story...

Devil In A Suit is a really cute story. It shows how childhood and how we are treated can influence our future, good and bad. Enjoyed this one
