I'm Trey Delgado, professional MLB all-star hitter and I think life wants to break me in two. Luckily for me—I’m unbreakable. They accuse me of being a baby daddy, a bad boy, a drunk and a playboy. Then I get traded from my all-star baseball team in beautiful Southern California, to a startup team in Oklahoma City where I’m expected to be their saving grace. Only because I know how to hit a ball and I might have hit it out of the park on their star pitcher’s debut game. Yeah, he’s still reeling. Oh, I can hit a ball. And I find that juicy sweet spot every damn time. I can promise you that—even in Cow Country, USA. Josie Crawford is the little fireball reporter covering my trade and she’s the sweetest, hottest reporter with a devil-red smile and legs that won’t quit. In cowboy boots, no less! Unfortunately, she doesn’t want anything to do with me—or so she thinks. But, she sure as hell has me at attention. Literally. When another scandal rips through my already tattered reputation, all eyes are on me, including Josie's--but for all the wrong reasons. Just when I gain her trust—my whole life blows up. And everything I know is in jeopardy. My career, my fame, my money...and my future. Remember that promise? The Sweet Spot? Yeah? So does Josie—and i'm about to make her mine..
Sweet Spot is a full-length bad-boy sports romance with no cliffhanger and a happy ending. It's got a tiny bit of baseball and a whole lot of sexy hotness! Filthy talking athletes who will melt your panties in thirty seconds or less! In fact...you should probably just leave them at the door!
Intended for readers 18+ due to Kindle-melting scenes and other mature content.
This is the 2nd book in the bad boys of summer series. It is a pro baseball romance. It has a bad boy player and a just starting reporter. How will all this play out?

ARC review For honest review. Wow what a great story of two couples that trust, communication, love, family ,friendship, and much more. I really enjoyed reading.
When you love a story about a bad boy sportsman this is a good one!
Trey is going down with all the things going on in his life next to his sport. He is moved to another team against his will. But it turns out for the better, he has to behave himself, so no booze and another girl every night, just concentrate on his sport and his new team.
But mix in Jo, who is looking for him to get an exclusive interview. She does get something exclusive from him, but not an interview. Sparks fly and he is taking real good care of her in all different kind of ways. But she is afraid for it to end, so she ends it before it begins. While she is running another story to safe her career, she can't get Trey out of her head. And when he needs somebody who cares for him in bad times, she steps in again.
I like the way they are being around each other, such a fun read. Also fun is the days they spent at her parents place, her trying to hide they are sleeping together is so sweet.
This sports romance didn’t have the typical drama one would predict with a troublesome hero and a reporter for a heroine. No conflict. She made it easy on him when she could have been very bad! Heroine was from a wealthy ranching family. She was an honor grad with determination not to be married off by her dad. Although she had that pressure on her shoulders she didn’t cower and write a tell all. In fact the option never even hit her mind. She had options but she was intelligent and wanted to succeed on her own merit.
He was a hot mess that’s for sure! I don’t know why he never interviews to tell his side of his story it just never comes up. Being traded was the best thing for him though. Their relationship took both by surprise and it was a slow evolving thing. Weirdly the first half of the book was slow and dragged out then the last few chapters when things could have been expanded on were all summed up and told to the reader like an epilogue or quick summary. It all happened and that was that. Strange pacing.🙃
This book was better than what I thought it would be, even though at times Josie drove me kind of nuts. In the beginning, I can understand Josie's hesitation in wanting to get involved with Trey, however, if she was looking for more, then she should have been honest with Trey and not lead him on. Trey, on the other hand, was not the bad guy the media made him out to be. After he hooks up with Josie the first time, his bad boy ways were already starting to change, whether either one realized it or not. The trip to Texas solidified his feelings towards Josie while it made Josie more scared than what she was already feeling. Josie's investigative reporting reveals a big scandal, giving her the boost to her career that she needs. Meanwhile Trey's career is finally on the right path and everything works out in the end.
This has become a fun genre that is a break from my favorite genre Paranormal fiction/romance. When I want a fun, light & steamy read ... I read a book like this.
That said this was a great Book! The characters were well developed, the struggles seemed real & I'm personally invested. It was also a steamy read!
As usual, this was a homerun by Ms. Winters! I read some other reviews of this book and am completely confused as to what they disliked so much, but not everyone likes the same things I guess. I absolutely loved this and would highly recommend it!!
This book just kept getting better and better. It kept me from not wanting to put it down. I really liked how the cariters kept you on your toes. Keep up the good work.
I love baseball player romances! Trey & Josie have a unique relationship going on. Good girl/bad guy romance. Josie couldn't resist his charm! This is a great read! I recommend this to all that enjoy baseball! Great book!!
Honestly this was a good book but it wasn't a great book. When I first started reading it I get excited to see that Oklahoma City was mentioned and the detail is great and all but that's all it was it was great it wasn't over-the-top. Awesome job to the author
I loved everything about the book. It was smoking hot, funny, and mist definitely hit my sweet spot. I have read other books by this author and she definitely knows how to deliver the goods.
I never realized just how great a baseball-sports romance could be. It was exciting watching Trey and Josie meet and evolve. Always enjoy KB Winters' books and will read more in this series.
Trace just wanted to be left alone, but he got traded to another team. Josie just wanted to be a reporter. She gets her first gig out at the airport when she meets Trace's plane, he noticed her straight away because she was in short & cowboy boots. This is their story !
OMG! There are no words to express how much I loved this book! I'm so in love with this series!! The blurb about this book tells you every reason why you need to read this book!!
Leave it to K.B.Winters to write a sports story that can even get me (#1 sports hater) captivated by it! She's THAT GOOD!! This is book 2 in the Bad Boys of Summer series and it's just as amazing as book 1!
Looking forward to reading book 3 in this series!!!
Great story! Trey is a bad boy baseball player who gets traded because of the scandals in his life. He steps off the plane taking him to his new team, and his eyes land on Reporter Josie. Josie is a fledging reporter who was given an assignment to get an exclusive interview with Trey to prove herself. Josie didn't expect to be so attracted to him … to want him … and it was interesting watching her go thru the conflict her feelings caused. Trey wants Josie and he won't give up. The interaction between these two is hot. Truly a great read with an HEA ending! I'm loving this series by KB Winters!
The paparazzi circus clowns are having a field day and there just waiting for me to step outside. Okay maybe I like to party like I play ball and those pictures on these rag sheets didn't help either. Josie had been surprised by her new status and yeah she was pleased as punch but now she needed to prove she was worth it by delivering the goods. It wasn't long before I learned the real price for my favorite pastime and it wasn't something I'd ever thought would happen to me but I'm on my way to the middle of BF... Nowhere. But at least here I just might be safe from that poisonous viper what had started out as simple one nighter turned into an utter nightmare by the end. But how was she supposed to interview a man who totally detest her species; being the fact she was a reporter. However a good one does there homework about there current subject an quite frankly the man was your quintessential party animal who made the cover of just about every scandal sheet. They descended on him like a pack of ravenous wolves trying to one up each other. My morning meeting with my boss left me a little more then perturbed but I really didn't have many choices. Josie never dreamed she'd be sitting in a hotel bar trading barbs with a man like this one. And the hits just kept getting better. I may not always have been the greatest guy in the world but every now and then I did get it right. He was like a roaring forest fire and I was trying not to fall for him but nope I'm a moth in search of the brightest light. And that was Trey. I'm seriously losing my mind the viper is still harassing me but she won't provide the concrete proof I need especially after she went down the complete roster of my old team in California. Josie was my saving grace she offered me a life line and I took it with both hands and I'm never letting go.

Opposites attract but he will have to clean up before she ever lets him get to bat
All Star is the second book in the Bad Boys Of Summer series. I have to say that I am enjoying this series and like reading about sunshine, heat and summer in the dead of winter. This story is about Josie and Trey. The only way to describe Trey is the ultimate sports star bad boy with a sexy smirk that makes the ladies swoon. He has been really overdoing it though with the parties, fighting, a paternity suit, traded and it is all taking a toll on the field for him. If he does not get it together soon he will most like be dropped and then what will he do. Josie is the opposite of Trey. She is studious, thoughtful, hard working and trying to get a foothold as a reporter. She may not be successful yet but she is going to double and triple down on her efforts until it pays off. When Trey and Josie meet he is very attracted to the beautiful and smart young woman. But Josie is not having any of him as she knows his reputation and that could tank her career faster than the Titanic. If Trey wants to even have a little bitty chance with Josie he is going to have to clean up his ways and get his personal life back on track. With all of that Josie may end up getting a lot more than she ever dreamed of.
This is a fun and easy book to read. The story-line is nicely plotted and the characters are wonderful, even if you do find yourself wanting to crack a bat over Trey's head a few times....but I digress. I enjoyed this book as it is another well written story by KB Winter.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Really enjoyed this sexy, hot sports romance. It was nicaely written, and flowed through at a steady pace.
I like Josie and Trey, she was a reporter, who after working her way through her internship wanted a more substantial position, she didn't anticipate working in the sports field.
Trey, hot shot, sexy, 'love em and leave em' kinda guy ends up being transferred and he is not happy, believed all the hype about himself, but the move actually kerbs his cockiness.
They find themselves crossing each others paths and both fight against their feelings. Josie has to follow Trey and his team on their baseball tour, and end up spending time together.
Josie is hell bent on scratching an itch, Trey is determined to just keep her at arms length....
I loved the suspense of their own actions, but also how they were together, there was no denying they had chemistry, but they also shared something far deeper than their hotter than hot sexual escapades.
There were very good together, Josie did not fall for Trey's 'get you into bed' charm, she had a lot of sass and was not afraid to make it known.
When they both realised that they each wanted more than sex, it was a really lovely moment.
They both had good friends, who helped them to make better choices. I loved Josie's family, her parents were lovely people, and her brothers came over as great guys too.
Great ending, leave you feeling very happy for them both.
I love KB Winters 2nd baseball story, if possible, even more than Bring the Heat. As all KB Winters' books, it's well written with sexy characters and a strong connection. Like Bring the Heat, it's hot, sweet and sexy. This time it's Trey's story. He's a hard drinking, trouble making bad boy who is traded to the Warriors as a star hitter. Jo (Josie) finds out from her boss that she has the pleasure of following Trey and the Warriors around for 10 days so she can try to get an exclusive interview out of him. Their connection right from the start is sizzling with heat, and snark, and their banter is awesome! She's tough, doesn't put up with his smooth, charming ways, and he's really determined to get her into bed with him. I like how she resists his usually hard to resist lines, and is just herself around him. And I like how he lets some of his obnoxious playboy ways go after he gets comfortable with her.
5 sexy stars for this sports romance. Now I can't wait for the next Bad Boys of Summer book.
This book is about second chances and fulfilling ones dreams. Trey the almost washed up baseball player trying to put his caeer back together and Josie the new reporter who has yet to sink her teeth into her first story. The sparks fly when the story becomes about the player and Josie worries who is being played. This story has been written before but not as well as K.B. Winters writes it. The story held my interest from page one to the very end.
Josie is trying to get her editor to give her a chance at a real story not just being a gopher around the station. Trey is transferred to the Warriors to redeem himself and bring the team out of their losing streak. This story includes ex girlfriends, paternity drama and shady land deals at the government level. Winters has the ability to juggle the different story lines and bring this book to its HEA finish. It is a standalone that you will find keeps your interest makes you wish for more. Definitely a sports book worth reading
Another great baseball/romance story in the series. Nice to (lightly) revisit some familiar characters too.
Trey did pop up in the first book as the batter who ruined Cody’s debut by knocking it literally out of the park (remember him..)
After a run of bad beahaviour, this bad boy has just been traded to the very same team and is having to work hard to rediscover who he really is whilst still battling with some of his baggage from before the trade. Josie is a (not quite) journalist and begs her boss for a chance...so getting an exclusive with an angry, journalist hating, recently traded baseball player for someone who doesn’t like sports sounds like a slam dunk (wrong sport....)
Both are strong characters and again it’s nice to read the author writing about women in careers and not falling over at the feet of their partners.
Looking forward to reading the final book in this series

Arrogant, cocky bad boy meets studious, serious reporter. Trey has a bad rap. Especially in the media. Everything he touches there’s been some kind of screw up except when he plays ball. But, With bar fights and baby mama drama surrounding him, he gets traded to the warriors to get his act together. The thing is, he’s so much more than what the public sees. Josie comes from a good family. Youngest after three older brothers. She’s got no problem going after what she wants. What she DOESN’T want is to continue to be a glorified coffee fetching girl. She’s a real reporter with real skills. She wants a spot on air. The station tells her go do a sports piece on Trey, on the trade. Get an exclusive. And the will talk on air time. How hard could that be? What she doesn’t count on is that sparks would fly and her and Trey would come crashing together. Very good story and characters. Really enjoyed it. Can’t wait for the next one.
