I was looking for a novel set on Tasmania's west-coast that was not all about men and mining when the book seller at www.bookcellar.com.au recommended Marion. It was perfect. I felt for Marion and her sweet, bitter journey - an intelligent capable woman in love with a brilliant man whose work takes them from the United States to the isolated, bleak, young mining town on the other side of the world. A great history. Thanks Brett Martin
