Though Fae warrior Ryan Sheridan can’t regret giving protection to Kayla and her sister, their enemies have not rested. When their Dark Fae pursuers breach Forever Faire’s defenses, a bloody melee ensues. In the aftermath, Ryan reconsiders the cost of harboring his mysterious charges.
For Kayla, the fallout is not something she could not have predicted. Even as Ryan opens his heart to her, her sister shuts her out. Although Kayla discovers love, as well as her real heritage, both may come at a price.
Hazel and her husband stopped being separate people years ago. They live their happy life in the always crowded, mostly sunny, and sometimes sweltering city of LA. Though they haven’t managed it yet, plans are afoot to add a kitty to the household, thereby giving the allergist fits.
Hazel has been writing full-time for several years, with some traditionally published work in other genres. But it’s her indie-published romance that fuels the creative fire. It turns out writing isn’t a job, it’s an obsession.
When you can pry Hazel’s fingers from the laptop, you’ll find her: on the elliptical watching a documentary, indulging her audiobook habit, or spending quality time with Candy Crush. Although she’s vegan, she’s a disaster in the kitchen. Luckily, potato chips and pinot noir come ready-made.
When this series first started out the books had so much potential the storyline could have been amazing.... But between the POV and the dialect its ruining it for me, Lass is said alot which obviously is Irish, homeland of Fae Folklore, then they steer off into old English like i am reading Quotes from Chaucer or hearing an Arthurian Knight..... Some very confused people/fae/bike horses.
The Imagination behind the story is incredible, but the way its been put together feels a bit haphazard i don't dislike it and will carry on the novella's but disappointed as it could be great.
the battle for Forever Faire and Kayla & Tara - continues...
Magic explodes over the grounds of Forever Faire, death & destruction abound. But this day magic prevails. What is made is unmade, What is broken is mended.
The sisters - Kayla & Tara are at odds with each other. Kayla & Ryan grow closer. The lines between good & bad, black & white become hazy & grey.
I continue to enjoy Kayla, as a character, but wish she would see more clearly those around her. Tara - has never been my favorite and we are beginning to get a glimpse of the REAL Tara.
Again, I enjoyed this trip and will definitely take another SOON! (I feel like a little kid begging my parents to "go again"!)
There is still mystery within the story, but Tara is no longer what Kayla hoped her to be...a victim. I was so very happy to see Colm and Christine back in the picture. I cried in the last book thinking Colm lost to us. Betrayal will take a big part in this book between the sisters. You won't want to miss out. Let the chips fall where they will until resolution is found to rescue our girl. Therein lies the cliff hanger for this book. Will Ryan prevail?
In the third installment of this series things get out of control. You don't know who is what and if everything is as it seems. One of the sisters is bidding something and the other is in a different way. Find out when you read this steamy and mysterious book of forever faire.
The story line is fairly good. I want to finish the series,But I am so mad that each book is so small, I mean good grief I finished the last book in an hour! I know you want to make something on the sale of these books, but this is totally ridicules, should have put at least 2 of 3 books together. Will never read her books again.
I am so glued to this series. I'm about to readook 4 and I'm on edge with Kayla's identity. books. Love it love it love it 😀😀😀😀
am so glued to this series. I'm about to read book 4 and I'm on edge with Kayla's identity. Love it love it love it. I would so recommend this book to anyone.
I chose to read and review this book. I liked it. I have not read book 1 and 2 but still was able to follow and understand it all. It is full of many things that kept me reading till the end. It is full of suspense mystery action and much more that captivated me to it. I recommend it.
Book three is a continuation of the Forever Faire Series and it has some hidden truths that come to light, but are they true or has Dirk Blackstone been playing Tara all along ?? One whammy after another all ending in the cliffhanger of cliffhangers !! I need book 4 to come out as fast as author Hazel Hunter can get it written !! 5 ☆'s for building an amazing Fae under-world, characters you love and love to hate , and keeping you guessing the whole way through, which is sometimes very hard to do !! I recieved an ARC, and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.
I've really enjoyed this series. My biggest issue is the ever present cliffhanger at the end. Well that and my lack of patience for the next book. Regardless, I definitely recommend this book and this series.
In the aftermath of the fight between the dark and light fae, our heroes are struggling to survive. Sending the rest of the human crew to safety and preparing to leave themselves. Suprises give them hope but end on a new betrayal.
This is the third installment in the Forever Faire series.
This installment opens with the Dark Fae attacking the Forever Faire clan. Kayla watches in horror as her friend Christine sacrifices herself for Kayla. The battle ensues until a mysterious force comes upon them and give the Forever Faire clan victory over the Dark Fae. As Ryan, Kayla and the others are helping the wounded Fae and mortals Colm and Christine who everyone thought was dead come back to life. Christine tells of a mysterious woman who was singing to her and brought her back from death and allowed her to bring Colm back with her. Ryan knows that this is special magic even for Fae and vows to learn more about what this means. Kayla's sister, the Dark Fae changing, is injured in the battle but refused to talk to Kayla because she thinks Kayla no longer loves her and only loves Ryan. Kayla is forced to let others take care of her sister. She also realizes that she can no longer fight her feelings for Ryan, the Fae leader of the Forever Faire clan. He helps her discover that she might be part Fae herself and helps her hone her gift of speaking to animals. Against his better judgement and to keep his love Kayla happy, Ryan agrees to continue to protect Kayla's sister and take both of them with him and the Forever Faire clan when they leave the fair grounds to a more protected fortress. Will Ryan and Kayla be able to overcome the odds that are keep them apart and find their happily ever after or will the Dark Fae and Kayla's sister continue to drive them apart?
Find out in this next installment of the Forever Faire series.
I give this book 5 stars and can't wait for the next installment.
THIS KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE !!! I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW...... OVER 18+ READING Kayla must get all the human worker at Forever Faire to the tunnels for safety and so they don't see the Fae warriors fighting when they are attacked by the Blackstones (a group of bad fae warriors). She orders that they stay there till she can return. She must get to the stables to free the fae warhorses and uses her power to tell them all at once that the Blackstones have attacked and they must get to Ryan and the other warriors and help. Grania knelt for Kayla to get on and ride as the warhorses ride in attack formation.Ryan (a true berserker, meaning a warrior who violence turns into a killing machine until the battle is over), is fighting and it hurt her to see her mate like that but knows she must stay away till it is over. The battle will end in surprises for both sides for the ending to happen someone has to have royal fae blood to end it the way they did but who? Did they even know they had the power? Was it used on purpose or by accident in fear? Who has the real power Kayla, Tara,Christine (all new to Forever Faire) or is it one who was already there? Who will betray all? Turning against the ones they love, their friends against everything? Can Ryan get them to unknown family? Is he right about who their (Kayla and Tara) mother is/was? If he is will their family help? This book has an ending you will not expect.
Hidden starts where Outcast finished - the Blackstones are attacking Forever Faire, and Ryan has gone berserker. This is an explosive start to the book, and the story moves quickly along. Kayla still firmly believes that her sister is innocent, but the reader starts to see a different side to Tara. The relationship between Christine and Colm, and Ryan and Kayla, are both blooming, but circumstances continue to dictate just how much time they can spend together.
This is very well written, with a nice romantic interlude in the middle, before the action continues on. With no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading, this is most definitely a serial, so I firmly recommend that you read Hunted and Outcast before this one. However, if you have read those two, then you are definitely in for a treat!
* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *
Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books! Oct 10, 2016
A BATTLE AND MORE CLUES REVEALED. 3.5 stars. Hidden is the third novella in the series Forever Faire. This is not a standalone and ends in a cliffhanger. It is a quick read so it's perfect for a short break from real life. There is violence and hot steamy sex scenes so 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. The Faire closes for the winter. Kayla still trusts her sister, but should she? Tara learns, or remembers, more about herself. Is she really Dark Fae and has she just been trying to use Kayla? There are a lot of clues in the storyline that keep you guessing what twists and turns will be revealed next. It definitely kept me riveted. As usual, things are not as they appear.
I look forward to reading more of this series. I received a copy of this book from the author and chose to leave review.
The third installment in the Forever Faire Series brings us much more surprises and lots of action as the fight between the dark and light fae continues. Who will prevail in the end when the last words are written in this series? Will Kala and Ryan be able to find a happily ever after? Or will the dark fae win and get hold of everything that is held so dear to the light fae? I found the surprises and twists in this book to be amazing and they kept me wanting for more. I look forward to the next installment in this series to see what happens next. Hazel Hunter is a wonderful writer and knows just how to weave her words so that a person is drawn into her stories and ready to read more and more until the very end.
I received this book free from the author to read and it is my choice to leave an honest review. Ryan is a fae warrior, protecting Kayla and her sister. This is the third book in the series. This is a fast-paced story filled with twists and turns, lots of action, and wonderfully drawn characters. Kayla has powers but we don't know if they are fully developed. There is a wonderful battle, there could be a betrayer, and will Kayla and Ryan ever get together? This is not a stand alone book as the story picks up after book 2. This is an exciting and well-written series that I believe you will enjoy.
I love this series so much so, when I realised I hadn't left a review on book three I came back to rectify it. This series is definitely worth more than the 5 stars I am allowed to give it. You need to read all the books in the series, other wise you would miss out on too much of the story. Ryan the Fae Warrior doesn't regret giving Kayla and her sister his protection, but the enemies, the dark Fae are still after them. When the Dark Fae breach the defences a bloody fight takes place, which causes Ryan to reconsider the cost of harbouring the sister. I won't tell you any more as I hate when reviewers give away too much of the story and spoil it for other readers.
I was given this book to give my honest review before release. It is a continuation of Kayla and her Faire Fae from Hunted and Outcast. In this one you will be fascinated with all the turn of events that will be taking place in Kayla's, what she thought of as, human life. If you have not read Hunted or Outcast, I suggest you read those before you begin the journey of Hidden, as it starts where Outcast left off and keeps you on your toes with lots of adventure in the Fae world. Hard to put down once you begin to read :-)
If you have not read the first two books in the series you need to because this books takes up where book 2 ended. Kayla and Ryan are still together but Tara's evil side has risen. Kayla has more power than she realizes and has sort reset time. Kayla has brought two people back to life. Christine and Colm are back and she also caused the Blackstone's and dragons to leave. I still think Tara is a weak character but is is totally evil and easily manipulated ! The ending has Kayla falling down a black pit but the preview for the next book does' start at that point.
Book three of the Forever Faire Series picks up where book two ended. Like the first two books, we were given more twists and turns in the storyline. I am really loving this series! I love reading about the main couple, Ryan and Kayla, but I love that we also get to see other couples too. Dirk Blackstone is back and opens the door to the biggest twist with Tara. Hidden ends in a cliffhanger so I will be awaiting the day that I can read book four and see what happens with Kayla. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.*
Wow this story is amazing. Kayla has spent her whole life taking care of her little sister and she still is Now the evil Dirk of the Blackstone clan is after Kayla and her sister Tara at the forever Faire. They bring on full attack, killing song of the Fae. Something amazing happens and saves them. The problem is Dirk still has his claws into tara. WOW the twists and turns in the story is wild. This is truly an amazing story and a must read. If your into the Fae, magic, and mystery this is your book. A voluntary review and I honestly loved it.
