David is both an amazing author and poet.
I was thrilled to see that he decided to publish his poetry because his poems are beautiful and passionate. Each word he writes speaks to the soul.
His short stories are hot and leaves you craving for more. I thoroughly enjoyed the sneak preview into his work in progress "Freedom of Reflection," it sounds amazing.
Highly recommend this book.

So, I am not a big fan of Poetry. Hated it at school and to this day still don't like it.
However, I loved David's novels Deep and Deeper in You and figured I couldn't not at least give it a go.
I am so glad I did.
Poems about Passion! Erotic, Romantic and Friendship.
My favourite lines from my favourite poems were :)
Don't touch - My hand at my cock I stroked up and down. Waiting to see what she would do Wanting to see her react.
Alone at the bar - I sent you drinks and watched you move But then stayed far away. And even when your phone would ring I knew that you would stay.
Ash's Lament - I want to sink my fangs deep To penetrate you in every way I want to mark you To claim you
You will never be alone- You will never be alone, Through trust you shall be freed. Friends can touch each other’s souls, Paths entwined, defined by need.
My PA my friend - Without you by my side I’d be set adrift My PA, my idea-bouncer, my best friend. No other assistant could share your gift

If you love nothing more than laying on the sofa and losing yourself in beautiful written and heart felt poetry than Igniting Passions is the book for you. It is full of emotion and guaranteed to make you sigh on more than one occasion. David S. Scott is extremely talented when it comes to the art of writing poetry and with the inclusion of three short stories makes the perfect read. Do I have a favourite from this collection? No....I have more than one and so will you. It was a joy to read.

Wordsmith vs poet..... I honestly don't care what you call it and Dave you might have had to work a little harder since it doesn't come natural.... well hell you seem completely natural to me... I really want to cuss but I can't so holy smokes very very hot,sexy,romantic... Wow just incredible!!!! You need to read this poetry/short stories. Very well written!!! Bravo!!

This is a great selection of poems and prose, some are sexy, some romantic. there area couple that really touched me and I could relate to.
The short story was sweet and had a mysterious side.
The taster for Freedom of Reflection was fantastic, I'm adding that to my tbr now!

David can certainly add Poet to his repertoire I'm so glad he decided to publish his poetry. David's poetry was beautiful along with very hot. It had you feeling all the emotions and hotness along with wishing you had someone there doing it to you. You could feel all the emotion and passion, with each piece of poetry, he doesn't disappoint. David's split the book into four parts erotic passion, romantic passion, friendship passion and lastly his passionate prose.
Erotic and romantic passion are self-explanatory. Friendship was touching and he also gave a lovely tribute to his p.a. It was great to see a touching piece A Whisper's Kiss by Melissa Ann added into this section. In passionate prose, the short story New Beginnings was very touching making the reader feel sad, along with happy for the characters too. Dreams and Dreamers (a Phoenix series prequel) is very hot you'll definitely want to buy the rest of the series if you don't have them already to see what happens next. Lastly was a peek at Freedom of Reflection coming in 2017 which certainly whets your appetite to read more.

I must say I am not a real big poetry lover , its just not my cup of tea . As I started to read the poems and prose in this book . I was amazed I was really loving the poetry. I read it on a snowy day with a cup of tea and a snuggly blanket . The words just flowed off the page . The poems were sweet sexy and erotic . There is also a short story that is sweet and mysterious that will make you feel for the characters .
If Mr. Scott puts out another book of poetry I will be there to buy it . His way with words will leave you breathless and filled with love . You will not be disappointed with this selection of poems and prose . Check it out

Brilliant collection of poetry and prose!
I really enjoyed Igniting Passions. I could not pick a poem that I liked the most amongst my favourites were Sirens Song , Lady in Red and Fettered. David S. Scott creates vivid scenes with his words. An enjoyable collection to read.
