Chinese chicklit. I don't really think this was all that worth the time to read, in hindsight. Something like the first 3/4 of the book was decent - easy to read but not all that great in believable character development. Then it went downhill really really fast where I felt like this was being written by an overly dramatic teenager dreaming about what real life could be like.
The only saving grace were the literal last 2 pages of this book. It gave good closure to the overall story and was pretty elegantly, beautifully wrapped up. These last 2 pages are also the only reason why this book isn't a one-star on my list.
