DNF. I may come back to it but to me, it was getting to be a cheese fest. I stopped at 71%. Not feeling this couple at all for some reason. Maybe cuz my vibe is that Camedon is not a true alpha and that’s generally what I like to read about. He seems like he was supposed to be, but he is not at all. What’s so special about Eden to make him drop his alpha demeanor anyway? I read nothing intriguing about this woman. Blah

I read this story on Kindle Unlimited. I have known of this author for a while. This is first ful story I have read by her. I thoroughly enjoyed Camden and Eden's story. I loved how he wanted her to be his the first time he met her and I loved how he pursued he until she was his.
I am looking forward to reading the Howard and Eden's sister story.

It started as a super sweet romance between Eden, who is recovering from walking in on her ex having sex with his friend that he sees as a “sister”, and Camedon, co-owner of an exclusive sex club.
It morphed into a story about an obsessive stalking ex-boyfriend, espionage, sabotage, kidnapping, revenge, and murder. Just the way I like my romance, with a little spice.
When they finally do have sex its hot, but it just takes so long. Luckily the suspense was enough to keep me entertained. 4 Stars.

2.75 Stars. So so read. I expect the first book of a trilogy to give a general lay out of the environ and the interconnections of the all main characters; but, I did not expected the author to relentlessly remind the reader that aside from being super rich entrepreneurs, all the characters in this trilogy are breathtakingly beautiful, devastating physical specimens of human anatomy and certified genius brainiacs. I also did not expect an alpha bad boy to be as wimpy as Camedon Price, the hero. Camedon threw away his player card and alpha attitude the moment he lays eyes on the heroine, Eden Lancaster. He tiptoes around Eden's prudish pre teen antics for most of the story; she is into heavy petting and making out and dismissing her cheating ex-fiance as a harmless nuisance. This story has kidnapping, murder, suspense, drama and features a couple, Camedon and Eden who have no romantic or loving yielding chemistry. KUB #18. I hope the remaining books of the trilogy are better than this one.

Wow!
This was my first book by Kasey Martin and I really enjoyed it. There were a few typos but none too overwhelming. Now Camedon and Eden made a hot and sexy couple. The way they met was different but no less explosive and consuming. Eden was trying to find the party girl inside herself while recovering from finding her boyfriend cheating on her.
Camedon crosses paths with Eden after there is a break in at the club he owns with his best friend. The sparks are immediate and become flames very quickly. Complicating matters is Evan's ex begins stalking her and Camedon is in a battle to save his club and their clientele from being exposed.
They intrigue, sex and emotions capture the reader and keep you turning page after page. I recommend this book to lovers of hot, sexy stories of alpha men and women. I will read more by this author and can't wait for the next book.

The hero is part owner of an adult club. He is being targeted at his club Euphoria and at his other businesses by persons unknown. Enter Eden, insurance company owner, she and her twin sister hold the policy on the business. Cam sees Eden and is quickly taken by her. The story is enjoyable if rather bland. The bad guys are dispatched rather easily and I was not surprised about the perps.
The one thing I always like about this author’s books is that the side characters are interesting and I always want to know more about them. Jones and Harper are next in the wings. I see that Jake had a story previously....will also look for Nolan and Eddie....hmmmm.

Read this one out of order..sorta
I discovered while reading Devilish Intentions when Jake and Charlie make an appearance she is still pregnant however, I just read Chasing Desires and she goes into labor. Anyway, that didn't stop me from adoring this story. Eden and Cam were cute together no drama between the two not to say there wasn't drama involved in the book. I wonder if Eden's twin Elyse and Cam's brother Harper get their own story? The brief glimpse of their chemistry was off the charts. I am looking forward to reading more of these two. Anywho, great story and it is highly recommended.

Wonderful!
I love a man who is very in tune with their significant other. Camedon was very protective, forward, loving , compassionate and sensual with Eden. He showed her constantly from the beginning who he was and so did she further in the building of their relationship. This was a great love story with a little drama, ,action and a great storyline with great characters and some heated sexual moments. Want more stories like this. Great Read! 👍 Renee G

Almost gave up...Glad I didn’t
When I started reading the story, it was slow getting into it. I really was feeling Eden because she whined over a broken relationship. I couldn’t figure out how Eden and Camedon was going to connect. I continued to read and it happened. I still think I would have liked to see Camedon and Eden explore some aspects of his club even if it was in private. I also would have liked more about Harper and Eylse.

Excellent! Love that this playboy boldly makes his intentions known and that although Eden got played by her ex, she has a strong personality, she's independent, knows when to be a lady and when actions speak louder than words. Very well put together story with a suspenseful edge, very sensual but also romantic and has strong supportive characters. Read this nonstop and can't wait to read the next one.

Good plot and I liked the characters, both main and secondary. Not into the sex club but it wasn't the main focus so that was fine. The hero seemed to be more into the heroine in this story. Strange that the hero only having eyes for the heroine was mentioned several times yet the heroine was in a few situations where she was flirting with other men inclthe body guard. Not cute. I hope the sequel excludes this type of situation.

January 20, 2022I enjoyed the story line and characters! The story kept moving with suspense! The first page always keep me reading, I did not have to guess if I would enjoy it! I am now reading the 2nd book in the series! I love books that have best friends who are true to each other and best friends who fall for friends, lovers friends, a family thing! And most of all in this story Eden and her twin sister falling for brothers! Men who are not afraid of showing their love for their women!

Quick fun read but writing could use work
I found this to be a fun read. Boy meets girl, instant attraction, some tension and angst, they date, there’s a bit of mystery thrown into the plot, a climax and HEA. But I was distracted by the writing which needs work. I was too focused on their language and actions rather than being immersed in the story and that’s a writing deficiency.

Love this series. Eden and Camden are the H/h and they are a perfect match. Their story is suspenseful and sexy. The friends are true ride or die. Eden's ex is fool.. Someone from Camden's past is causing problems. Awesome storyline. On to Book 2. Good job Kasey!😊

Great read
Camedon and Eden had fire hot chemistry that jumped off of the pages. Their storyline was steady and consistent. Didn’t quite understand the drama part. It was just so loosely tied in that it seemed to be almost like an afterthought. It would have been perfect if the villains were more closely tied to the main storyline. Still recommend.

As always, Kasey Martin does it again. Attraction, romance, sex and a generous helping of intrigue and suspense.
I love that most of the characters in this book are interacting with characters from other novels. It almost makes the story continuous. Just make sure to follow the story carefully.

Spicy goodness is how I’d explain this book. I love the characters and how the author shows their relationship with others as well as each other. Just the right amount of suspense and “steam” to make for a good read!
