All that glitters isn't gold! That saying is the perfect way to describe Kelis. With a good job and being currently enrolled in school to further her career, a banging body, and a beautiful face, Kelis seems to have it all. That’s what it LOOKS like, you’d never know that she was suffering from a bi-polar schizophrenic disorder stemming from a troubled childhood; and neither did Rameses.
A handsome man with charismatic charm, Rameses Jefferson is used to having his way with the ladies, so much so that he lets his greed threaten his marriage with the love of his life. After years of illegal hustling, he put that money to good use and opened one of the city’s most popular architectural firms and business is booming. With his right hand man, Drew, by his side, the two are making major moves in Atlanta while still cleaning up illegal earnings through the company.
Tamika is fed up with the nonsense and finds herself ready to file for divorce. The constant disrespect has all become too much, the embarrassment is driving her crazy, and Rameses’ infidelity sends her into the arms of the next man. Beautiful and a go getter herself, she doesn’t feel that she should have to settle for less than the best. When Rameses nonchalant ways threatens not only his freedom but his business, which woman will be there for him, his wife whom he’s always been crazy about or this new chick that’s crazy for real?
Ram got his self in a real mess and a nut case.I bet she killed her mother and that the Aunt know, and Ram should have checked the books and not started messing with a nutcase.
This book was all that and a whole lot more. I enjoyed it from that beginning to the end. This is my first time reading a book by this author and I loved it. Please hurry with Part 2
This was a little different from what I'm use too. It still was about a side chick but with mental illness. Rameses deserves karma but it coming to him in a different form. I hope Tamika gets her well deserve happy ending. Also, hope that Kelis gets the proper medical treatment that she needs. And I think she should have forth coming with her condition.
I really enjoyed this book. My first read by the author, but it won't be my last.
The character Kelis...was just as the title described, A For Real Kind of Crazy..... The author took us on a delusional journey into the Life of Kelis and Friends...
Love my crazy characters...They give a new outlook on what is "normal".
This was a really a good read. The storyline was interesting and held my interest from beginning to end. It was well written, it flowed and was consistent. That Kelis broad is one crazy itch! She is certified! And Ramses, just like typical men that wants to have his cake and eat it too. Well I hope it's delish! Good job..awaiting part two!
Rams & Kelis don't get no sympathy at all! Go Tamika get you happy back girl I'm def not mad at you! Ram needs to tell his mama the truth, Tamika didn't just up and stop messing with you!
This chick has some serious issues, she met had sex and fell in love with a married man in a matter of weeks, now she thinks they are going to be married, I can't wait for part 2
