Dr. Steven J. Lawson is the Senior Pastor of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama, having served as a pastor in Arkansas and Alabama for the past twenty-nine years. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University (B.B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and Reformed Theological Seminary (D. Min.)

I did this study by myself. I definitely think it would be best to be used as a group study. It would have been more interesting to hear other's thoughts. However, I did learn a lot and was able to dive deeper into the book of Phillipians.

I read through this with a group, and later on in a one to one with a friend - for both settings this book worked great. It's your basic guide; questions for the chapters, study leaders cheat sheets in the back, and optional 'explore more' sections to get even deeper into the study. This one through Philippians was very helpful for looking deeper at what God's wisdom actually is. I mean, you may think you know, and actually you may really know, but it's never going to hurt to go over it again just in case fam x

I enjoy these Good Book Guides a lot because they're great basics. I'm always either learning something or being reminded of something.
