I always quite liked this one. Tess and Michael are both very likeable, and in the first half of the book their romance is really sweet and charming. When Michael's secret comes out ( His brother in law abused his wife and child, so he ran away with the child and joined a Child protection organisation who gave them another identity, while the sister dealt with her abusive husband in a court somewhere), it all gets a little dramatic, but you really get the feeling that this are two really decent people, and you cannot help but root for them.
