Author and Illustrator: Andy Geppert
Age Recommendation: Middle Primary
Art Style: Watercolour animals
Topic/ Theme: Being yourself
Setting: Everywhere and Nowhere

This is a simple yet colourful and detailed book about accepting who you are and where you fit in. Meep himself is a bird, a giving bird who just wants his friends to feel better about themselves. This is the story of how he goes about that. The typeface and use of colour is really clever, this isn't just a book for children adults may get something from it too. Especially the parents who work themselves to death, sacrificing everything for family.

There are two dedications 1 is to the authors family, the other reads "For all the people who answer NO to the following question:
Are you beautiful?" That dedication really all you all you need to know about the intention of Meep and what a reader can learn from it.
