Forced to halt her investigation into Eprah's dark past, Sage Indarra begins her fourth year at the Institution with an impossible decision looming over her. One that could seal her fate in just a few short years. Just when she thinks she's chosen sides, she discovers something sinister happening within the walls of the city, something disturbing with the Lawless at its core-the same people Sage sought to align herself with. If Sage can't figure out who to trust, she could make things a lot worse-not to mention needlessly sacrifice her own future. Will she join the Lawless or put her faith in Eprah?
While this story could use a bit more action blended in, I like the direction it's headed in. It's clear that there will come a point Sage will stand up for those she loved, and I can't wait to see it. I appreciate that this author is not including a ton of gore and violence in a tale that easily could be riddled with it, and the book endings cause you to be curious about what's going to happen next.
Another great book in the series. I finally called it at night about 2am. These books are well written and have a fantastic story line. The only problem is I love reading them so much I am reading till the early hours.
