Do you choose your dream job—or the guy you’ve always wanted?

Three years ago Hannah met a sexy surfer while on vacation in Westport, WA. After a whirlwind summer romance, he ghosts. She’s tried to move on, but no other guy has ever measured up. And now she comes face to face with him on the first day of her new internship. To make matters worse, he’s one of her managers, and he has no idea who she is.

Matt’s tired of being the third wheel around his friends, especially when he was the only one who ever wanted a girlfriend. And then Hannah Glover shows back up in his life—the girl who simultaneously made him want a relationship and ruined him for anyone else without him even realizing it. He wants her now more than ever, but she doesn’t trust him after the way he ended things before. Which should be fine since he’s her manager at his first job out of college, and their company has a strict no fraternization policy. But Matt just can’t seem to help himself where she’s concerned. And she won’t be an intern forever, right?

Will he be able to convince Hannah to give them another shot? Or will their past and their present conspire to keep them apart?

If you love steamy new adult romance, check out the third installment in the Players of Marycliff University series now!

Managed Hearts by Jerica Macmillan a five-star read that will have your heart falling. This is the third book in the Players of Marycliff university series. They can be read as a stand-alone but I have read them as a series and loved the whole lot. In each book we have gotten more of a back story and more depth to the characters. Matt was someone who has intrigued me all the way through, the quite reserved one. This book was so well done, sometimes when there is a time jump you lose something, but this was so well done, that you got the whole picture. Jerica has done a great job with this story pulling all the characters together and revealing details in a way that kept you guessing but gave you enough detail that you knew what was happening and could guess at where it was going but it wasn’t all here it is all on a plate in one lump, but peeled away like a rose. Very well done.
Hannah Glover is a woman who has a huge decision to get her head around, she has to decide does she take a risk on a boy who left her, or stick it to him and stay at her job, as the boy she gave her heart to, only for it to be broken is now her line manager and with the company policy of no fraternisation does she lose her job or her heart again, it’s a troubling story that will keep you hooked. Matt was someone I already loved as a character and do you know what he blew me away coming into his own in this story, his mouth alone!! We could be soul mates if he wasn’t already in a complicated situation.
There are adult happenings in this book so don’t read it unless you are mature enough to handle them, but they are well done and placed appropriately, it’s not there to liven the story but bring it together.

Interesting read. Mangled Hearts will make you somewhat emotional and fall in love. The story and the characters are interesting and good. The characters, Hannah and Matt are good. Hannah, I love her dedication and her will to follow her dreams. Matt, I find him to be a bit intense...because of how he dealt with things sometimes. Sometimes, I find both characters a bit irritating because of how they treat each other. Anyway, the story is good and I love how I was easily engrossed on what will happen next to them. I liked it.

“I’ve tried over the years, I’ve never been able to move past what we had…”

Managed Hearts is book three in the Marycliff University series by Jerica MacMillian. It is the first one I have read in the series and I did not have any problems with reading it as a standalone. I did however, enjoy reading it enough that I will be going to read the others that are out and enjoying the other characters stories. They are centered around some very hot alpha male football players and the women that have some sass and class that know how to handle their alpha men!
This particular book follows the story of Hanna Glover and Matt Schwartz. It actually picks up off about three years after they last have seen each other. They originally had a whirlwind summer romance together when Heather was a junior in high school and Matt was just starting off in college. They both fell hard and fast, I pictured the scene from Grease. Anyways things didn’t end so well. Instead of ending things and communicating that long-distance relationships was hard for Matt he flat out ghosted her. “Ghosting his was out of her life was a kind of a dick move, but he didn’t know how to explain himself to Hannah.” This obviously leaves Hannah with some trust issues that she has to deal with in the years to come. Especially, when the two happen to cross paths three years later in their new jobs.
Heather shows up to intern for a semester in marketing at a company called Eco Utilities and it just happens that her manager is none other than Mr. Ghosted, Matt Schwartz. “It was him. Matt. Her Matt.”
Can the two of them find a way to put the past behind them and find a way to build a future together? Will they still have a spark like they once did?
“Was this for real? Was he for real? Was there a chance that she’d meant more to him than she’d thought all along?”
“This girl. She was it. He hadn’t realized it until now, but she’d completely ruined him for anyone else.”

REVIEW
Managed Hearts is the third book in Jerica MacMillan's series Players of Marycliff University. All the books are standalones so you don't have to read all of them, but, in my opinion, you should. They're all great books. And now that I've read this book, I am (patiently) waiting for the next installment in this series. I can't wait to see more of Lance and Abby.

"You're mine, Hannah. As far as I'm concerned you've always been mine, and you'll always be mine. Got it?"

According to me, this book is the best one in this series. I loved Summer Fling and Convenient Fall but this book had something extra that made me love it even more than the others.

God, he loved the feel of her under him, around him, the way she looked with her eyes closed, lost in the feelings he created for her.

I'd say this book is hotter than Jerica Macmillan's previous books. Matt has more of a kinky side and are more of a dirty talker than her other heroes, and Hannah seems to be slightly more innocent than her other heroines. The two of them together are a perfect (and sexy) match.

"Fuck, yeah. I love watching my cock sliding in and out of your tight pussy."

If you're looking for a well-written second chance romance with a hot, dirty talking hero, a sweet and smart heroine that stands up for what she wants, perfect chemistry, some angst, and crazy hot and naughty sex scenes, this book is exactly what you're looking for.

This girl. She was it.

Do I recommend this book? Yes!
Would I ever re-read this book? Yes.
Am I going to read future books by this author? Yes!!!

Managed Hearts is a book about longing and a second chance. Or in Matt's case a half a dozen chances.

If you were given the choice, would you make the leap to trust your first love with your heart for a second time? Hannah can't figure out whether to try or deny. Well, actually its not like Matt even remembers her or does he?

Two lovers and plenty of questions, a lot of hurt, and one job between them.

When it comes down to it, which is more important...

It's a sweet story about chances and dumb men...I mean, it's about...yeah a guy who can't get his head out of his ass repeatedly. But he is an endearing man and hopefully, you will see through Matt's stubborn streak too.

This review of Managed Hearts by Jerica MacMillan is for The Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog. This is a very sweet second chance at love story. I really enjoyed it. I give it 4 Stars. Managed Hearts is the story of Hannah, an eco friendly college student and Matt, her old flame. Hannah is set to start an internship at Eco Utilities. But you see the thing is, Matt works in HR at Eco Utilities and happens to be in charge of the interns. You see where this is heading right. Yep, they each recognise each other, but don't immediately act on it. Can they get past this and move on to a future together or will the past be too much? It is definitely one click worthy. Although it is book 3 there is no need to read the first two to enjoy this one!

I fell in love with this series since I read the first book : Summer Fling.
I love Jerica Macmillan's style, the easy way the words she uses flow one after another.

This book is a nice read when you need a sweet love story to take your mind off work, your cat who is sick again, this blasted car which still won't start even if you already had to repair it three weeks ago and the weather everyday more rainy and cold and that's because winter is coming earlier every year you know it damn it !

To summarize quickly what happens in Managed hearts, Matt's story, the last of the Players of Marycliff University :

Matt and Hannah had a torrid fling during summer a couple years ago. When summer ended, he had to go back to college and she still had one year of high-school so they quickly lost touch. But they never forgot each other.
Now, Hannah is in her final year of studies and gets an internship in her dream company -which also is, much to her surprise, the company where Matt manages the interns !

That's when the story really begins. Will they succeed to forget their past to look towards the future ? Will the no fraternization policy in their company separate them forever ? Will they find a way to make their dreams come true, hand in hand ?

Now my thoughts and feelings about this book :
I really liked the characters, I could really identify myself with Hannah and it helps to enter the story. And Matt is such a sweetheart, you can't do anything but love him.
Chris, Megan, Lance and Abby also make a small appearance and for the readers who have already read their love stories, it's great to know how they are doing a couple months later.

The way the story unfolds is at the same time a little expected and surprising so it's nicely balanced. Plus, it has just enough humour to make you laugh, just enough drama to make you cry and just enough feels to make you wish you were living this love story !

The reason why I put four stars and not five :
Firstly, it's not in my top ten of the best novels I've ever read and for me, they are the only books which deserve the five stars.
Secondly, in the middle of the story, I thought that the steamy scenes -although very sexy- were too frequent and not always "justified". In a book, I believe that the explicit scenes between the characters should be for a reason and not just to fill in the blanks.
That's the only flaw I could find in this book and let me tell you, it was not a big one. (Because, sincerely, when has too much sex become a problem ? :P)

What I preferred in this novel :
It's the struggle that Matt had when he has to choose between his passion and a safe and secure job that will pay the bills every month. I think that a lot of young adults live the same thing and have trouble combining the two so a lot of readers can relate to this. In fact, I am living this situation right now. This is the first novel that gave me the impression that it helped me in building my future. Quite impressive !

To conclude, Jerica MacMillan surpassed herself in Managed Hearts, writing a great novel, the best in the series in my opinion because the characters are more "adult" than in the other books. They make grownup decisions about their future and their dreams and the storyline is based in the corporate world, not in the university like in Summer Fling and Convenient Fall.

Managed Hearts (Players of Maycliff University Book 3) by Jerica MacMillan is her third book in her Players of Maycliff University series. This story can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read the previous two books. It will give you an idea of this author's writing style and her attention to details that keep you reading. Her characters are connectable and true to life. They are lovable and will pull you into their world. Their story is about getting a second chance at love. This story is about Hannah and Matt. They met three summers ago and had a hot sizzling romance, then he was gone. She never got over him just disappearing. She is about to start her internship when imagine her surprise when he walks into the room. Will he remember her? What will she do, will the old feelings pop back up? What happens when she goes out one night with her friends? What happens is nothing she ever expected! After seeing her, he knows that she is the only one for him. Will he be able to win her heart again? She really just wants to trust him, will he prove to her that she can trust him with her heart again? Their chemistry is really strong and really will take you on a roller coaster ride of humor, sadness and parts may even make you angry. They are both strong characters that grow throughout the story. She is independent and strong willed except when it comes to him, we get to see a more sensitive side of her. Matt is the alpha male that just wants to prove that they belong together. These two really do belong together, will fate allow them to renew their love for each other? Another part I enjoyed about this story is that we get to see characters from the previous two stories. I love it when the author does this, you always wonder what happens to them after their story. I highly recommend this story, I know you will want to see what happens with Hannah and Matt. Will they find their HEA?

Managed Hearts (Players of Marycliff University Book 3)
By: Jerica MacMillan
5 out of 5 stars

The story Managed Hearts (Players of Marycliff University Book 3) by Jerica MacMillan is a new adult/romance book. This is a wonderful story that I loved reading. This is a book about two people who get a second chance at love. When reading Matt and Hannah’s story I could tell that they were meant for each other. Even with them not seeing or hearing from one another for a while it became clear that they still have feelings for each other. This doesn’t mean that their journey to a happy ending will be a smooth one. There are issues of trust that must be addressed and also the fact that they both work for the same company with Matt being Hannah’s manager. Can Hannah and Matt work through the challenges that are now before them so that they can have their happy ending or will the hurdles that they face be too large to overcome causing them to lose their second chance at love? This story also has wonderful secondary characters that cross over from the previous two books. They are friends with Matt and quickly accept Hannah and bring her into their group. Matt is a character that shows himself to be different. He is not the constant one-night-stand type of guy as some of his friends were. He is more of a person who wants a relationship. He is also a person who does what is expected of him. Fears hold him back when it comes to dreams that he has. Can he overcome these fears? Amazing stories and awesome characters can be the only way to describe the series that the author has written. The emotions that I feel when reading her stories are at times deep and very real. This is the third book in the series and I can’t wait to read the next one. I know that when I pick up a story she has written that I won’t be disappointed. This book does have adult situations. Matt and Hannah’s story is red hot and very steamy. It would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.

Managed Hearts by Jerica MacMillan is the 3rd book in the Players of Marycliffe University series. Although this can be read as a standalone I would highly recommend reading them in order as the build up to this book is worth it.

Hannah has never forgotten her first. Although it only lasted a summer, and ended rather abruptly, she finds herself comparing all others to her sexy surfer. So to say she is surprised when she walks into her first day at her new internship to learn he is her new manager is an understatement. But when he doesn't seem to recognise her, although hurt, Hannah decides it is best to leave it that way and avoid him as much as possible.

Matt can't believe his eyes when Hannah, his love interested from the summer three years ago, walks right into the induction session he is about to hold. When she shows no sign of recognition Matt is intrigued but knows he has to the and remain professional. As much as he might not like his job he cannot risk losing it.

It doesn't take long before their previous chemistry boils over and they find themselves unable to stay away from each other. But a secret relationship can only stay secret for so long. And when the truth does come out it will either make or break their relationship.

Easily my favourite book of the series so far. I loved the story between Matt and Hannah and how it developed over years. I also liked that Matt was the one who actively wanted to find a relationship, and not just someone to take home. As well written as the previous two but even more engaging this is a must read for everyone.

Managed Hearts
By Jerica MacMillan
5 stars

I couldn’t wait to read the next instalment of this series by Jerica. I really liked Matt from the previous stories and thought that he was a really nice character so I was really looking forward to reading his story – I was not disappointed at all! I loved him and Hannah together and even though they did irritate me slightly at times I admired them both in regards to their careers I just think that they, Matt especially, went about things the wrong way. They had a lot of chemistry and they really were the perfect couple. I found myself completely absorbed in to their story and really hoping for them to work it out. They really were made for each other and I was rooting for them the whole way through.
I really like Jerica’s writing style. Her books are so easy to read, they flow well and the pace is excellent. The sex scenes in the book are well written and not too frequent like they can be in some books. I think the author has the balance just right.
I love that characters from the previous books appear but this can also be read as a standalone. I would, however, highly recommend the series is read in order. I think NA readers would definitely love this series as well as romance lovers! I definitely can’t wait to see what happens next in this series, some new secondary characters were introduced so I am looking forward to their stories!

Managed Hearts (Players of Marycliff University Book 3) By Jerica MacMillan

5 Stars

I absolutely love this book, actually I love this whole series, for some reason I’m reading them completely out of order but thankfully each one can be read as a standalone, but really would be better if read in order just because of the characters making visits throughout the series.

These are fun and swoon worthy new adult romances that have college athletes and the amazingly strong young women they set out to win over.

This is Matt and Hannah’s story, and I loved it. I love stories where they meet, get close and then disappear from each other’s lives only to come across each other again later. Guess that’s why Grease is one of my favorite old time movies. I really liked that these two characters were both willing to stand up for what they thought was right, and when each asked the other to give something up they both stood strong, even if only one of them had a valid argument, in my opinion of course.

I really liked the storyline, and this author's writing style is wonderful, this book had an easy flow and I read it in one sitting, and I can’t wait to figure out which book I’m going to read next since I plan to read every one of them.

This is a great read, but I would definitely not recommend it for anyone under 18, there are some scenes that are extremely hot and steamy, just gotta love those college athletes and their hidden dominant sides...whew!!!

Having read the first 2 books of this series, I was very eager to read Managed Hearts and see Matt also find his HEA. While Matt has been no saint, he definitely was not a player like his 2 best friends used to be and, after seeing more of him in Convenient Fall, I was feeling a little sorry for his single status! There are a few character traits in Matt that surprised me but I was impressed at how he became such a strong, alpha male once Hannah came on scene. Although he hit some stumbling blocks along the way, I love that Matt eventually took the leap to follow his dreams and land the girl!
Hannah is absolutely lovely and the perfect girl for Matt. She's driven and strong willed but soft in all the right places that make their relationship work. I love that she's not a pushover and stands up for he dreams.
While Matt and Hannah's story had some surprising elements (spanking?!), I thoroughly enjoyed this 3rd book in the Players of Marycliff University series. The author does a great job in creating characters who grow throughout the story and find themselves on the way to their HEA. I also love that each book is a standalone story, so there are no frustrating cliffhangers. These books are definitely worth reading!
I received an ARC of this book and I voluntarily give this honest review.

Managed Hearts by Jerica MacMillan is a five star novel. This novel is also the third novel in the Players of Marycliff University series. Although it is unnecessary to read the first two novels, I highly recommend it because of the background information on each of the characters to be gathered. I have been waiting for Matt’s story since the very beginning. He is the normal roommate. He’s the one it seems like the girls would want to fall for but he is too much like an older brother for that to happen. Why do girls always choose the bad boys first? But now it is his turn to make bad decisions that might lead him to somewhere good. Being recently graduated, he is now just working a normal job and missing being in college since his roommates are still in college. Hannah and Matt had had a summer romance a couple years previously but since she was still in high school, he just let it go. When she starts as an intern at his new job, he knows that he can’t stay away even though the company has a strict fraternization code. How in the world will he be able to pull this off? Will he be able to even get her to talk to him with how he just ghosted her a couple years ago? All he knows is that he can’t let this opportunity go. Hannah is his one chance at true love and a lasting relationship.

Managed Hearts, Players of Marycliff University Book 3, by Jerica MacMillan. This is the third book I. The series. We have read about everyone finding their one true love and now it is Matt’s turn…….
Matt and Hannah had met 3 summers ago. They spent that entire summer with each other and Hannah gave Matt her heart right along with her virginity. Now not only are they at the same University but Hannah is also interning at the company that Matt works for. The first time that she sees him, he acts like he doesn’t even recognize her. Maybe it’s better that way. The last thing Hannah needs is to give her heart to him and just have him destroy it again.
Matt is completely floored when he sees Hannah again after 3 years. He thought he was doing what was best for her when he cut all contact with her. Boy was he wrong. One look at her and he knows that he needs to have her in his life and never let her go!!
Will Matt and Hannah be able to pick up where they left off years ago or is the deck stacked against them from the beginning?
I was so excited to finally read Matt’s story. I also loved that we got to see the rest of the gang drop in also!!! I absolutely love this series and I can not wait for more!!

Managed Hearts is book three in the Players of Marycliff University series by Jerica Macmillan. It just blows my mind that every book has something more, something unique to deliver. But one thing remains in all the books so far. A deep level of friendship and caring between the characters of these stories. The players may change, but the game of love stays the same.

Hannah and Matt meet during a summer neither of them could forget. They go their separate ways, but both leave a lasting imprression. Hannah annoys me a little. Well, a lot. I cannot pin it to one particular thing, but she just does. I did not connect with her character like I did with the others. Her story was great and I really enjoyed reading about her, but she was not my favourite. She just did not have the personality I really get into. Now Matt was another story. I loved him. Everything about him, from his bossy, take charge attitude, to the way he was with his friends. Things come to a head when they meets again and Matt is Hannah's boss. These two had so many ups and downs, but that just added more drama and excitement to their journey.

A fantastic next chapter in this stunning and highly addictive series. Jerica MacMillan's talent shines blindingly through yet again. 5 stars

After only spending a summer together Matt & Hannah have a connection hasn't gone away, no matter how hard the other has tried. Reunited three years later they both are faced with loving each other or losing their careers. Both of which have just started. Faced with a tough decision on how to manage it, they realize that their connection just isn't going away. And it's not meant to.

This was a fast read that I couldn't put down. I was surprised at some of Matt's reactions but I did understand them. Hannah, I don't know how I feel about her. She was everything I love in a heroine, feisty yet sweet, doesn't take any crap from the hero, but somehow her and I didn't connect. She's still my girl though. But her and Matt absolutely connected, so I guess I don't matter, lol. The sparks fly between these two and he gives her just what she wants.

This is the 3rd book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. But the other books are great and you'll love the characters more as you catch up with them.

Confession- There's something magical about not having to wait months for the next book in the series, hehe. So I'm excited to go read book 4.

Managed Hearts by Jerica MacMillan is the third book in the Players of Marycliff University Series and it's amazing! This is one of those series that just keeps getting better and better with each book. Jerica MacMillan is extremely talented and is able to intertwine these characters and their story lines within each other and still leave us wanting more with this series! An amazing 5 star read!

Flashback three years ago and Hannah was having the perfect summer romance, only to have him disappear. She's tried moving on, tried seeing other guys, but no one measures up to him. She's getting ready to start to a new internship and she's got a serious problem. Now her summer love is one of her managers. Summer love, Matt has been an athlete his entire life and now he's stuck at a desk job. He never expected to see Hannah again, and now that he has, he's not going to let her go. Only problem? Their work has a strict no fraternization policy. Can these two keep it cool until Hannah isn't an intern anymore? Or will the way Matt left things previously ruin any chance of them having a future?

This was one of my favorite books in the series! I can't wait to see what happens next.

Managed Hearts – Players of Marycliff University Book 3 – Jerica MacMillion – 4 stars

I really like this series, while each book reads a stand-alone, we get to visit with the previously written characters while being introduced to the future characters in the series.

This is Matt & Hannah’s story. Matt has graduated from Marycliff University and has gotten a “grown up job”. Hannah is still attending MU and is an intern at the company Matt works for. They had met a few years ago on vacation and hadn’t seen each other since.

While this was a well written story, it was not my favorite of the series. Honestly, Hannah & Matt both bothered me with their behavior and way of communicating. The constant push and pull and mixed messages kept the characters in a constant state of flux. Having said that, this story absolutely had its redeeming qualities. It was a fast read and had a beginning, a middle and an end that was satisfying.

I look forward to the continuing stories in this series.

Managed Hearts(Players of MaryCliff  University Book 3) By Jerica  MacMillan

Managed Hearts ( Players of MaryCliff University Book 3 ) By Jerica MacMillan  is the third book in her Players  MaryCliff University Series.Although this book can be read as a standalone I recommend going back and reading the first two books in the series as well. This story is about Hannah and Matt and getting second chances at love.Three summers ago these two meet and have a super hot romance, then he just up and leaves.Hannah tried but never really got over him,now she's about to start her Internship when guess who walks into the room . Surprise is an understatement for how she was feeling. Does Matt remember her? What happens when Hannah decides to have a night out with her friends? I absolutely loved this story I couldn't put it down once I started reading. These two characters  truly belong together. Will they get their second chance at love? I highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Managed Hearts by Jerica MacMillan is book 3 in the Players of Marycliff University Series and it was amazing.

Some characters that appeared in previous books of the series appear in this book too. However, the book focuses on Matt and his love life. He met a girl named Hannah a few summers ago and spent quite a bit of time with her. Then when he went to college he just ignored her attempts to reach out to him. Now he's a college graduate and his job is managing the interns at Eco Utilities.

When one of the interns just happens to be Hannah....his Hannah, he knows what he must do. He acts like he doesn't realize who she is and she does the same. Even though Hannah, has been Inlove with Matt ever since that summer.

Now with Matt being Hannah's boss, will he be able to rekindle their long lost romance. This is a great book about second chances. Now with them in the same general area, will they be able to pick up where they left off or will Hannah refuse to give him a chance.

Loved this book along with the last 2 books in the series I have read. Amazing Series

Managed Hearts is the third book in the Players of Maryville University series by Jerica MacMillian. So far I have thought each book was my favorite when I finished and this is true once again. I had grown quite attached to Matt in the first two book and was so glad he finally got his story and opened the door for other stories. I wish there had been more of a story between Matt and his parents and we learned something about Hannah's family but other than that I loved it.

Hannah didn't realize how much of an impact that summer three years earlier with Matt effected her until she sees him again even if she never totally forgot him. I loved how they run into one another again and was able to get a visual of what I felt like their expressions were when they saw and realized who the other was.

Matt did a lot of growing up after he and Hannah got together which he needed to do. I was so proud of him for stepping up and doing the right thing at the end. Now, I need to find time to start reading book four.

I was so desperate to read Matt’s story after reading the other two. Matt was always so reserved and I was always curious about his life. I am so glad there was a prequel to Matt and Hannah’s story.

After Hannah met Matt when she was in high school and just left her life, it was a shock when she literally bumped into him years later. The manager of the interns at the new place she is interning at.

Hannah remembers everything that happened that summer. But it looks as though Matt remembers nothing. It looks like he does not even recognise her.

‘The fear of rejection is too powerful, the feelings she maintained about their summer romance too precious to her to risk trying to make more out of it, especially when he hadn’t displayed any continuing interest before.’

Overall, I really enjoyed this. I was waiting to read this book and it did not disappoint. I am looking forward to reading the rest! I love this series.

Managed Hearts is the third installment in the Players of Marycliff University by Jerica MacMillan. This installment focuses on the whirlwind romance of Matt and Hannah, how they met at the wrong time yet love still implanted itself in their lives. When life brings them back together again, time and heartache stands in the way of them living the romance that was meant to be for them, but that doesn’t mean that either of them are willing to give up the other without a fight. I have had the pleasure of reading the two books prior to this one, and they have all been amazing to read. MacMillan has not disappointed once in this series, keeping me on the seat of my pants while creating the greatest stories about love and finding your one at the most tumultuous time in your life. The coming together that she creates for each of these characters are all unique but show just how powerful love can be when it has found your perfect match for you.

This is a must buy for everyone!

This Marycliff novel is about a Hannah and Matt, current female student and a recent male graduate. Their story begins in Opening Hearts. I would recommend you read Opening before Managed.

Neither Hannah nor Matt have been able to forget the summer they fell in love. They may have been teenagers, but the feelings were real. Now they're adults. The attraction is still there but so are the questions.

I loved seeing Hannah stepping out of her comfort zone as a model. Of course this caused Alpha Matt to make an appearance…swoon!

This book had me holding my breath because I knew Hannah and Matt were going to be busted but didn't know when it would happen or by whom. I was shocked when Hannah actually stood up for herself when forced to choose between her career and their relationship.

I'm totally addicted to these Marycliff novels!

I was so excited to finally read Matt's story (he was my favourite out of the three guys), Matt was always the third wheel and at last he gets to find love. The third book in the Players of Marycliff University series by Jerica MacMillan was just as good of the two that came before! This second chance at love story will not disappoint! Although you knew from the first meeting that Matt and Hannah were perfect for each other there was a lot of growth that had to come from both. For Hannah it was learning to trust again and hold on to your dreams and for Matt his journey was one of self discovery and going after what he holds close to his heart (and that's not just Hannah).
There were many...many bumps in the road but Managed Hearts is not a book you will regret picking up.

Managed Hearts
Players if Marycliff University Book 3

Jerica MacMillan

Ladies third instalment is here and Jerica didn't disappoint. Here with finally have Matt's story. What a story it is! The one that got away and the one that leaves their mark on you emotionally; that's exactly what Matt did to Hannah. Now she sees him again only this time he's her manager and he has no idea who she is.

What I love about these novels is the skill they're written. They are smooth and flowing, nothing too bland to make you lose interest. It's packed with so much love tension heart warming moments that an new adult romance should have and I've thoroughly enjoyed them all so far.

Look forward to seeing where Jerica takes up next.

Hannah had her heart completely broken many years ago during a summer where she met Matt who became her everything even though it was meant to be a fling. They were going to stay in contact once the summer was over well only one stuck to it so it just fizzled out. Hannah now has a internship which shes ecstatic to start but hwr world comes crashing down once she see whos her manager! Will she be able to keep her head down and not allow her past feelings destroy her dream internship? Can she forgive? I havent gave much away but its definitely one hundred percent worth the read i was unable to set my kindle down i was completely captivated!

Managed hearts by jerica McMillan is the third book in the players of marycliffe university series and is awesome! I always enjoy the characterisation and how the characters develop in these stories. Hannah had a summer fling with Matt a few years ago when he left her behind with a broken heart, now she has the internship of her dreams and guess who is in charge of the interns? Matt of course. I fell in love with Matt in the first book and I couldn’t wait until I read his book, I was not disappointed. I won’t spoil it but know that you can start with this book as it is a standalone.

DNF @ Chapter 21

I forgot I was reading this, which shows you how much I cared about it.

I actually only have a few chapters left, but don't even care enough to finish it, which is super out of character for me so I feel like that really says all I need to about this book. I've never been a fan of second chance romances and particularly didn't care about this one - I also felt like they got together so quickly and there wasn't really any actual plot?

This first series is such a disappointment after reading and enjoying the later spin-off books.
