This Daisy chick doesn't sit well with me. At all.

First off, If you have so much hatred against a company's policy that it somehow steers your life for you, then how can you be involved in a 4-year relationship with one of the company's owners?
Where tf is the logic in that?

What is more, after being in a relationship with the said man, you don't go fucking his brother.
That's disgusting. End of story.

Gabe's life needs some shaking up. With family and work taking up most of his time, Gabe has forgotten the meaning of spontaneous. A carefully crafted schedule keeps him on track in a family where he never quite fit. Daisy is a whirlwind of activity, she goes after what she wants by any means necessary and she's set her sights on Duncan Enterprises. Forced together for purely professional reasons Daisy and Gabe mesh better than either expected until ego and pride rear their ugly heads. The Billionaire's Rebellious Lover blends spice with emotion and delivers fierce characters and an all around compelling story.

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I haven't listened to the first book in this series, but that really didn't make a difference to this book. This series is about the relationships of the Maxwell brothers. The author did a good job with the plot line and character development. The narrator did a good job, it was just that sometimes he would rush through the dialogue.

Daisy Levine along with her organization is determined to bring Duncan Enterprises up to par with environmental issues regarding their company. She has a reputation for going in with both barrels to get what she wants. At this time she is hoping to repair her past history by making Restore Eden into a company who works along side of companies like Duncan Enterprises to make the world a better place environmentally.

Gabe Maxwell has been the one given the task of working with Daisy and allowing her access to their company records to make sure they are making changes in the right direction within their company. The only reason they let her in so close to their business is she is Gabe’s brother, Nathan’s, ex-girlfriend. Sparks fly between Daisy and Gabe but he does all he can to keep it under control as he thinks Daisy and Nathan are still in love. Which means a lot of misunderstandings. This causes all kinds of trouble for these two, not to mention a bad guy stirring up trouble for them as well as Duncan Enterprises.

This is the second in this series about the Maxwell brothers. The plot was a good one, well written and brought together at the end very well. I enjoyed this book very much. The only issue I have is with Daisy’s character (also Angie from Book one) as they are almost over the top “strong women”. I get having strong women in books these days but sometimes they are a bit much to me. That being said, this is a book worth getting as well as book one in the series.

In the second book in Maxfield brothers series we get to get more of Gabe the straitlaced middle brother in the Maxfield clan. Introduced in the first book we get find out more of his feelings of being passed over for the CEO position and how he is handling the business not that is not being sold. Things are just starting to settle into routine when an environmental extremist group is picketing outside the companies front doors. There Gabe has a run in with one of the protestors who turns out to be Daisy Levine his younger brother Nathan's ex-girlfriend. She says she is out to help the environment but the group has radical ideas. How can the stern and structured Gabe deal with the upheaval that Daisy is bringing? You will have to read and find out. It is sweetly endearing, And there is some adventure involved along with abit of steam. The development is pure and organic and maybe a little wrong but so right! I enjoyed getting to know these brothers more and can't wait to read more!

When Daisy joined Restore Eden she thought she was helping them change their image, but what she got was way more than she bargained for. Restore Eden's latest target is Duncan Enterprise, the company owned by her ex-boyfriend Nathan Maxfield. Gabe Maxfield is tasked with the job of working with Daisy, thinking she wants to be back with Nathan, and finds she shakes up his tightly controlled life. Daisy and Gabe are the definition of opposites attracting and the sparks are explosive between them. They have an uphill battle if they want to be together with the Restore Eden group wanting to attack instead of working with the company, a kidnapping and the ex who is also Gabe's youngest brother. I loved the fact that Gabe and Daisy are so different and yet work so well together when they let themselves. Another great read from Leslie North. Daisy is a go green environmentalist, to the point of being a little fanatical. She has joined an extremist environmental group, hoping to change it’s reputation. They target Duncan Enterprises. She is passionate, independent, stubborn.

Gabe Maxwell is the Senior VP of Duncan Enterprises. He is regimented, stern, stubborn. He is tasked with working with Daisy because she is also his brother’s ex. These two are attracted, but Gabe holds back because he thinks Daisy is still in love with his brother.

At times I found myself wanting to smack them both. Her for her over the top attitude, him for being so obtuse. Like another reviewer, I felt a bit of the ick factor with Daisy being Gabe’s brother’s ex.

Even though this is the second in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I recommend reading them both and look forward to the next in the series.

This story is about the Maxfield's middle brother, Gabe and his younger brother's ex-girlfriend, Daisy Levine.
Daisy belongs to the group, Restore Enden. Jordan has ties to Restore Enden but Jordan wants to bring down Duncan Enterprises. Daisy just wants to have them change their policy on building and waste management. Angie, CEO of Duncan Enterprises, wants Gabe to handle Daisy with kid gloves, because of his brother, Nathan. Gabe has given Daisy permission to access files that pertain to waste management and energy programs.
Gabe has given Daisy one month to access their files. In that month a lot has happened.
Leslie has created another awesome book. A must read.

They have to work together to reach a compromise, so that Gabe can save his family's company.
Another Great Read and in the end another love story.

Good continuation of the Maxfield brothers series. This is book two and centers on the middle brother Gabe. The book contains a lot of interesting happenings and adventures involving Gabe and his younger brother Nathan's ex girlfriend Daisy.

The Billionaire's Rebellious Lover is Book 2 in The Maxfield Brothers Series but works as a standalone. Gabe works hard for his father's construction company, Duncan Enterprises, and is all work and no play. When he is sent in to negotiate with an environmental group that is targeting their company, it is his brother's ex-girlfriend Daisy leading the charge. Gabe finds himself attracted to Daisy, which is made awkward by the fact that she used to date his brother. In the end, opposites attract and love wins out. This was a well written and narrated romantic suspense story that I really enjoyed. I would recommend The Billionaire's Rebellious Lover.
