Even though these are obviously created with one of those kaleidoscope apps, the images are crisp (i.e. not pixelated), detailed, and varied. What's also nice is that the reverse of each image page is black, which makes the colors pop, especially if you remove one from the book to display. This was a present to my partner & me from our nephew & niece, along with a big pack of colored pencils. They are awesome. The nephew and niece, I mean. :-)
