This book is called Virtual Friend by Mary Hoffman. It's fiction. It's fantasy. They main character is a boy that had no friends. He lived with his dad. His name was Ben. His neighbor was really good at technology.
Ben's neighbor was a scientist. His name was Vince Riggs. he invited them to come. He showed his machine on which you could play a lot of games. Ben decided to lay the game called Virtual Friend. Then the machine stopped working because Vince didn't pay the electricity. Next day when Ben went to school hesaw his friend. they were best friends. When he electricty came back on his friend disappeared.
I think this book is pretty interesting but if it would have more detail it would be more inetersting. It could be more expanded. I would recommend this book for 8-10 age. And I would rate it 7/10.
