The moment Taylor Clark met Bane Vanderbilt, spark sizzled between them. There is a reason for that and it lays in their past. Who was Bane’s love before Taylor? It was Faiden Cantor, the grandson of a billionaire. Was Faiden the love of Bane’s life or did Faiden damage Bane beyond repair?

The prequel to ‘Bane’ answers all of your questions. And if you haven’t yet read A. Anders’s international bestselling ‘Bane,’ this prequel will rev you up for the steamy hot M/M/F erotic romance.
I read Bane a while ago, and at that time I had a hard time liking Bane but he had grown on me by the end of the book. Where Taylor always intrigued me, now I know why. Both of these men had beginnings that I wouldn't have thought about and it makes sense now on why they turned out the way they had.
I still didn't like Bane but that's alright I am sure plenty of people will. I did find it interesting on what transpired with Taylor in college.
This is a steamy quick read with some angst. I would suggest reading this book before Bane not after even though it was released afterwards.
There is no possibility of revealing plot spoilers because there is no plot. It's an extremely short story written very poorly. In no way would it tempt me to purchase the next book. I actually can't remember buying it and hope it was free. I gave one star because Kindle won't let me give zero
This prequel moves between the events in two different characters lives, offering backstory and an understanding of how they came to be the characters who offer a compelling story in Bane.
In that book it is clear that each of these characters were shaped by past events, but this prequel adds both layers and meaning / understanding to what I read in that story.
I read the novel Bane before this prequel, and have no regrets about the order in which I read them, though this prequel does remind me that I consider characters, and their complexities, to be one of this author's true strengths.
Bane meets up with Faiden and tours the world on is wealth spends all and Faiden gets his but stops and gives him some money to do whatever he wished but alone.
