After spending the last twelve years on the run from them, Pearl finds herself depending on the same breed of monsters who slaughtered her family. While keeping herself safe from the creatures hunting her, she has to guard her heart against a man she never expected to desire.

Zac knew the moment the fairy, Pearl, came crashing into his life he’d never be the same. From the moment he looked into her pale blue eyes, his heart and soul knew he’d found his mate. Now, he has to find a way to keep her safe in his world – a world full of beings who would kill to get their hands on her blood.

Is a love that could destroy them both worth the possible consequences?

It dragged on. Couldn't finsh. Not to mention all Marcus had to do was concentrate on Lizbeth to transport and find her. If you going to give powers then make them consistent. Not impressed a fairy is so weak and magically useless..

I love this book so much. The story pops off the pages and leaves you wanting more. Pearl is special and she is running from monsters but has to trust the same kind of monsters but can she? Zac knows she special but can he find a way to protect his mate from the monsters that want her blood? I can not answer these questions for you. Dive into the amazing world that no other then Rosemary Clyde can create. This book has it all danger suspense, romance and amazing characters waiting to be discovered. I can not wait for the next book in this amazing series. Dont forget to read Laken (book 1).

Let me start by saying, Oh my goodness! what an amazing book. it started with action, and without a doubt ends with actions, questions, and lots of emotions. I have no fingernails left after reading this book, there were so many what ifs I was always putting down the book and walking away, either because I was worried about what the next page would bring, or because I did not want it to end too fast! You must read book one in this series in order to truly get the understanding of each character, the author does an incredible job of filling in the gaps if you are new to this book. I would strongly recommend reading book one first!

There is something really special about Zac, he had a heart that was broken, with a much-needed repair. He thought he would never love again, in his eyes his chance of love was lost to him many years ago. That quickly changed as soon as he meets Pearl.

Pearl is running for everything she has, her last ditch effort is to yell and hope that someone can hear her, not only did someone hear her but when she runs into a brick wall and looks up into the most amazing eyes she has ever seen, her relieve is short lived when she realizes she has gone from one enemy to another? She keeps her guard up and she knows that she has to protect herself, even if she is feeling something different from the man that has not stopped staring at her since she ran into his chest and saved her life!

Loved loved loved this book. It really did keep me up at night, and I can't wait for more books into this series!
