Jada Anderson is a 23-year-old hustler. She has been blessed with a privileged life, but she works like someone is trying to take everything she has. She recently landed a job at one of the biggest financial firms in the country and she will not waste the opportunity. She knows that it’s hard for young black women to be taken seriously in corporate America so she tries hard to maintain a professional reputation that she can be proud of. Her life seems to be perfect, but her fiancé, Nick, isn’t. Nick is trying to figure out what he wants out of life, and even though they’ve been together since high school, Jada is starting to feel like she’s outgrown him. She’s starting to question if they should get married.
Omare Wilson is a 28-year-old bachelor who is mesmerized by Jada as soon as he met her. He sees that she has the drive and ambition to do more than what she’s doing, but he doesn’t want to push her. He has to respect the fact that she’s engaged, but he can’t help feeling an intense connection to her. Omare is a man, who gets what he wants, but Jada is making him prove himself in ways he never had to before. When she discovers Nick’s true colors, Jada is glad that Omare is around but she doesn’t know if she agrees with his lifestyle.
Will Jada choose her high school sweetheart who is the safe choice or will she take a chance on Omare and risk putting her career and future on the line?

Good Story
I loved this story. It touched on a lot of topics but the domestic violence issue was really sad. I'm always surprised women talk themselves into thinking that's love. I thought Jada was a good friend to Lisa after what she did to her. I can't say she got what she deserved but karma's a witch. Omare and Jada are good for each other but I'm surprised she didn't talk him out his other job. Now it seems he may be in trouble with the law. I hope Nick don't come for her since he's still out there and he's nuts. I hate it got me sucked in then ended. I was all in. I hope part 2 is out now.

A Real One!
Aww man I really hope Omare can get outta trouble. I love Jada, she's smart and has a big heart. I felt so bad for Lisa but some people have to learn the hard way. Nick turned out to be a real loser. Great read!

I can't help to wonder where Nick is?? Lisa is wrong for betraying Jada! I can tell this series is about to get even better.

So far I am loving this book. I really identify with jada we have the mindset. I am definitely excited to see what happens next with her and Omare!!!!!!

This is an ok book.
It doesn't hit any of my marks when it comes to reading urban thug illegal crap, e.g.drugs or guns. Sometimes people are willing to print anything to sell.

Great book
Ok Miss Mo I see you. You have done it again. Can't wait to see where Nick turn up at. Jada and Omare r great together what happens next.

Can't wait for part 2
This book was excellent. I was glad that Jada hooked up with Omere, I love their chemistry. Glad she got away from Nick early, but I don't know if I would have forgiven Lisa. Can't wait for part 2

I could not put this book down.
I know of someone who represents each person in this eBook. For the Lis's of this world - nothing good cones out of betrayal. She is quite lucky to have Jada remain her friend despite the ultimate girl code betrayal.

Jada, aww she is the real VIP. I love that she is very smart and about her business. She is a genuine friend to Lisa. Omare, Jada's boo, he genuinely loved her, they sex had me wanting to snatch up my man lol. I can't stand Nick. Read the book and you will see why!! I will be getting part two of this
