*** Coffee Break Cozies – Delicious Cozy Mysteries you can Devour in One Sitting!***

Welcome to Cider Island – a town where anyone who’s anyone knows something about someone. It’s just that kind of place. And when the Island’s most beloved blogger is murdered days before Halloween, the mood is anything but sweet.

With Halloween right around the corner, Ida Noe is busier than a mosquito in a nudist colony. Her famous Candy Corn Crackle fudge has always been a crowd favorite -- but when word spreads through town that her frightfully good fudge is at the center of a bizarre murder investigation, it whips Ida into a Frankenstein-sized frenzy.

Can Ida and her offbeat best friend clear her name before Ida is forced to trade in her favorite tri-colored candy for stripes of a different kind?

Funny little mystery series that resolves the crime better than the actual police department in that town. It's funny, mysterious, good reading that is simple and uncharacteristically fuuny.

.Ida, who is part Miss Marple & part Betty Crocker, has become one of my favorite senior citizen heroines. I love her spunk and that she knows her limitations (physically & legally). 'Candy' is a great read. I've enjoyed the series so far and certainly hope it continues.

Grace Lemon, although utilizing food in cozy mysteries isn't new, has crafted the mystery portion with fresh ideas. Using a blogger as a victim was a smart way to go. As we meet more characters in the series, we realize that Cider Island is as complex as any other town.

With its Halloween theme, 'Candy Corn Crime' is the perfect pick for this time of year. I give it 4 stars.

Fun and Clever

I enjoyed the second book in the Oh Fudge series. It was cute, witty, and a lot of fun! Also, it was very cIever--I didn't suspect the murderer or method. The candy corn fudge made my mouth water... I wish the author included the recipe. I hope there is another Ida Noe book coming out because these are a delight to read!

This is a fun Halloween novella. I was initially drawn to this book because of the title, as I love candy corn season. I loved the description of Ida's Candy Corn Crackle Fudge. Sounds so good! I wish the recipe had been included because I want to make it! I enjoyed all the Halloweeny details in the novella. Cozy readers will really enjoy this cute holiday mystery.

This book wasn't bad. I KNEW what the weapon was, very early on. However, I didn't expect the twist to it. Unfortunately, there is no explanation about how Ida knew the way in which it was used.
Other than that...this was a nice read. I appreciate the free Fudge Shop Fatality, too, THANKS!

Candy corn Crime. Another fun adventure with Ida Noe and her beau Eldon, with able assistance from her gal pal Libby.

Small town theft, murder, mystery and mayhem with nummy sweet treats. I missed the usual recipes at the end of this book.

Loved the small town friends and families mix-ups and chaos, and the classic murder mystery feel.

Lots of fun! Can't wait for the next one!

Fantastic!

This second book in the Oh Fudge! Cozy mystery series was so much fun to read. I wish the story could have been longer, as I already miss the characters and the little town they live in. I can't wait for Grace Lemon to whip up a third mystery with Ida , Eldon and other wonderful residents of Cider Island.

Feels like a lot of details are missing.

Story was hard to follow sometimes. The author tried to be cute, but it was annoying reading now The women didn't know how to use a search engine. The solution wrapped up really fast.

Sweet

These are cheesy, sweet mysteries that lack all substance. Nonetheless, they are enjoyable to read. The author could do with an editor, though.

Halloween is fast approaching and the citizens of Cider Island are busy preparing for the big day. Fudge Queen Ida Noe receives a large order for her special Candy Corn Fudge from a local food blogger. When the blogger is found dead, it looks like Ida's fudge may be to blame. It will take all Ida's sleuthing skills, along with the help of retired police chief Eldon Topper and her lab Smudge, to prove her innocence.

There are many cooking themed cozy mysteries on the market, but the first two in this series are above average. The characters in Grace Lemon's books are likeable and there are many ways in which they can grow and their stories develop. I enjoyed this book and I think you will too.
