Roderick LeGrand is concerned. His wife Annabel has not been the same since their world was robbed of music, art, and creative passion. He has to do something before he loses her forever. He decides to build a time machine in order to go back and find the man who is responsible. The Artist.
The Artist only had two things in his life; his art and his Annabel. He never meant to hurt anyone. He never meant to ruin everything. All he ever wanted was to love her.
This is a story that will torture your thoughts by day and poison your dreams by night. There are no words that could be written nor brush strokes laid on canvas that could describe the stark and utter horror of the night that Annabel died.
Would recommend this book to any horror/mystery fans. There's a lot of different things going on at once (different dimensions and whatnot) and you can decide yourself what is and isn't real. If you like your books where everything is is explained to you: this is not the book for you, but if you like books that keep you wondering what really happened: this is the book for you. This book isn't just for fans of the band Alesana, although if you are a fan of the band this book is great as so many of the songs and lyrics start to make sense and come together as you read the book.
This book was absolutely amazing. Loved it. I have always been a fan of Alesana. This incorporates two things that I love dearly, music and books. I would recommend this book to anyone. :)
Been on my tbr for a while, dunno why I waited so long — but once I picked it up couldn’t put it down. Quite an immersive adventure! I’ll be thinking about this one for a while. Amazing from start to finish.
This book is absolutely amazing and so great with details. I loved all three of the albums and this book really captures everything in full detail. It’s so well written and suck a great read!!
I finished this book months ago and have not recovered. When I was near finishing it, my partner woke up to me wide-eyed and looking a little unhinged at 2am. He asked if I was okay and I just whimpered ‘no’ and nothing else back. He said later he thought I’d received bad news but then returned to sleep after realising I was emerged in this book. I have so many questions. I’ve listened to all the albums and joined reddit threads and have no closure. Would defs read again.
