Another Nook free friday. Good plot of a newspaper features writer takes on the investigation of her sister's death. A decent read. It was pretty predictable and will leave you wondering why she doesn't keep the police in the loop as she unravels the mystery.

This is an older book, so the technology is dated. Regardless, I really enjoyed this book. I liked the story, and the characters. My favorite parts of the book were the interactions between Sutton, and Detective Peterson. Some of it was hilarious, and gave me many good chuckles. The plot wasn't unnecessarily drug out, especially toward the end, when so many stories linger on too much action and suspense. The way it was done here was just fine.

I keep thinking how this storyline would be a great 3 or 4 part episode for a show like "Blue Bloods." Danny Reagan would make a great sub for Detective Peterson. Definitely a book worth picking up. :)

A good story that's very believeable. The church on every corner started by men who have never seen the inside of a divinity classroom, let alone school, is very common where I'm living and very sad. This story may be extreme, but it should give pause. I liked it.

Free Friday. I liked it well enough that I would another in the series. The book takes place in the DC area and I recognized many of the landmarks. Greenbelt had a shout out.

Nice enjoyable read with a decently characterized MC. Not tainted by bad guy POV. Not quite my style, but nothing really wrong with it.

I enjoyed reading this mystery because the author did a good job of pacing the story so that I wanted to keep reading when my break time was over and I was eager to pick it up again as soon as possible.
