I’ve always been annoyed by the one-sidedness of the Aesop fable, “The Ant and the Grasshopper.” Someone who spends their days seeking sensual fulfillment is not by definition a fool. And someone who brings art into the world is contributing something essential. This short story is my response to the fable. Appropriate for adults and teens.
